Continuing, Kalore's eyes were closed as he swayed to the music, playing with his hands what his voice couldn't sing. The song continued and went to a climactic part, the part that had probably woken Monty up before. It wasn't too loud, but it was still louder. It held passion, the art and joys of being free. It was a song that had always had meaning to Kalore, but this time it just screamed out to him to listen to it. To not give up and just go through with the song to reach the ending where all is free.

Before long, Gambler fell asleep on the couch. Monty looked at her and shifted her so she was more comfortable and went to go and get her a blanket from one of the rooms and placed it on her, tucking her in. Depsite their bickering and threats he was grateful that she offered to be there. Maybe in some respects he did like having the heathen around. At least she put off their fight for another time instead of right away. Sitting down next to her, he listened to the song again, getting lost in it.

Kalore continued the song until it came to a close a few minutes later. Sighing, the man leaned onto the piano, careful to not touch the keys to make any unpleasant sounds. Leaning over into something like a prayer position, Kalore almost lost it, but he refused to let himself cry or show that annoying emotion again. It didn't help...not at all...

Monty got up from the couch and made sure that Gambler was tucked warmly in the blanket and walked over to the door that housed Kalore. He knocked softly on it. What the hell was he doing? What could he say to Kalore at this point in time? Obviously the elf didn't want to be disturbed and for that he understood. Monty acted completely out of line with him and that made him lose a possible friendship with the elf. It was his fault.

Blinking a few time, Kalore stood up and opened the door, blinking again as he saw Monty. He cocked his head to the side, the 'what are you doing here?' question obvious in the elf's eyes. It wasn't that Kalore didn't want Monty there, but after Eri...he didn't think that Monty would talk to him again. At least not for a while.

Monty blinked and didn't know what to say. Clearing his throat, he stood up straight. "I wanted to check up on you. You haven't had anymore attacks?" He asked, quietly and hiding his concern but it was there in his tone.

A small look of confusion was on Kalore's face at the mention of attacks, but then he remembered. Smiling softly, he shook his head, "No." Another smile and he looked out and saw that Gambler was asleep. She looked so adorable like that... Looking at Monty, Kalore blinked and stepped aside, offering for him to come inside if he wanted.

Monty looked back at Gambler and then back at Kalore. "Are you sure you want me to enter? If I'm bothering you then I can go away." He said, giving the elf a chance to speak up. Well, at the moment giving the elf a chance to say no that he didn't want this over grown pain in the neck around him with his back and forth attitude over Kalore. He didn't mean to be back and forth, just he's not used to this so he didn't know what to do. Sighing softly, he waited for Kalore to make his decision.

Kalore rolled his eyes and pulled Monty inside of the room, allowing him in while he closed the door softly. There was no point in disturbing Gambler's sleep, and now that no one was in there, Kalore would be able to just listen for any movement. Eldin got up and got out, he would have his two worst enemies at him...Goody.... Looking at Monty, he gave him a soft smile and walked over to a table that was in the room. It was covered in papers because this was where both Rave wrote the songs. Cleaning it up, Kalore gestured it as a place to sit.

Monty slightly scowled and nodded to sit down, crossing his arms. "You could have simply told me to enter, elf. No need to get excited over having a demon in here." He grumbled. Who would? He wouldn't want a demon in his room so why should Kalore? Then again, he was taking this all out of line so he calmed down. "That song was nice."

Raising a brow, Kalore pointed to his throat, mouthing out, "With what voice?" He shrugged and just went over to the other side of the room, grabbing some coffee from the machine in the corner. He held up a cup, offering some to Monty. As he did that, he nodded in thanks, "Thanks. It's the same as before..." Kalore didn't know if Monty would have remembered the song or not...But if he did then now he could relate the two.

Rolling his eyes, he nodded to the offered cup of coffee. "I know it was the same song. It put Gambler to sleep and almost put me to sleep. It's a good song. You succeeded in shutting up that heathen. Thank you." He said, looking away from Kalore and around the place. He didn't want Kalore to see that he liked that song, which was a whole lot.

He grinned and gave the silent laugh as Kalore shook his head, handing him his coffee, "Glad I could help." Another laugh and he went to get the cream and sugar and things like that to put in the coffee. Offering it to Monty, the elf waited patiently. Kalore didn't know why Monty wasn't looking at him, but it was probably because of pity...had to be...

Monty looked at Kalore and shook his head. "No thank you. I'll take it black for now. I need the energy to keep me up for Eldin." He said and took a sip. "Thank you for the coffee." He said and tried to smile but it didn't work so he settle for the smile in his eyes. That could work.

Nodding, Kalore didn't hide the small smirk on his features, "You really don't like him...Do you?" It wasn't that Kalore was defending Eldin, because that sure as hell was never going to happen, but it was still odd. Kalore couldn't think of a time where Eldin had insulted the demon where Monty hadn't actually instigated it...
