The little girl backed away as if she had been struck. The last time an adult had yelled at her like that... Tears filled her eyes again, this time, though, they were real. An infiltrating jounin... A jounin that specialized in torturing and killing for Iwagakure... Was crying because a nineteen year-old girl was... yelling at her? Artemis' eyes showed the same kind of hurt that any child would have when they tried to do something for their parents and it blew up in their faces. And this twenty-one year old seven year old was crying because someone she hadn't known in forever --or ever really known, for that matter-- was yelling at her. But children make friends fast... And Artemis' memory is such that everything that has happened to her since she died may well have happened yesterday. An adult... Chastising her... Not only an adult, but one whom she had seen as a child.
Her bottom lip quivered and the first two tears spilled down her shallow cheeks, streaking her ivory white skin and falling to the floor. "Me paenitet..." I'm sorry... Latin? Where the hell does someone even learn Latin... Let alone a child... "Me paenitet... Ego eram devia... Ego iustus volo... ut non exsisto unus..." I was lonely... I just wanted... to not be alone... Even though she was fighting to breathe, the child was still unnervingly fast. She spoke as if she had spoken Latin her whole life, --and she had-- But she was silently sobbing in-between phrases, so it gave time to catch up. Although, speaking Latin here was about as useful as speaking Greek. Her voice spilled her emotions out on the table, and she was just a small, frightened girl.

It depends on you last roll for a song, if for the last song people rushed the floor then you will have to grapple check them

His head really was beginning to hurt now. Fubuki Shinratsu was currently enduring a highly pressurized headache. It was like if there was a thousand sharp needles, poking at his brain from every angle. He winced elegantly, as he gingerly touched his ears. He's gonna be death once this crude performance is over. Speaking of which - when IS it going to be over! I hate you... Shin thought miserably. In fact, so miserable was he that he forgot about glaring daggers at every customer coming his way. This was a funeral service, no, this was the ninth circle of hell... Wait a minute, which circle had a boom box concert in it anyways!?
Whatever. This was Lucifer's circle!
...
It took every ounce of willpower not to pull his hair and scream.
Band: Trivium DC: 1d20 (7) + 2 = 9 23-25 three rush the floor. 21-22 two people rush the floor. 19-20 somebody rushes the floor. 15-18 somebody tries to use a fake ticket to get on to the floor, or a wrist band you deiced...they will be trying to argue. 8-14 several people come down the stairs with ticket and you must give each wrist bands. 1-7 nothing happens...EXCEPT THE METALLLLLLLL!!!

Keiko stood there, "Uh, I'm sorry, I don't know Chinese..." She gave a nervous laugh. "I'm terribly sorry, I don't know what's really going on if you could tell me...maybe in a language we both understand...that would be great. Then maybe we can find your parents or someone that knows you."
Keiko gave the sweetest smile she could, "I won't hurt you." She keeled down to the child and she traced her face, "Don't be afraid little one. I will help you find your home."
Everything seemed to fall into silence, there was no music, no more people. Just the two of them.
Keiko smiled and hugged the little girl, "Why don't you tell me a few things about yourself."

Artemis smiled softly and wrapped her tiny arms around Keiko. Here was the first adult who had ever seen her before, and she was treating her like a child. Finally. She smiled, crying more, but this time with happiness. "Latin..." She whispered softly. She had been taught at the same time as she was being taught to speak Japanese. "My name is Artemis Malia... You saw me once... about ten years ago..." To Artemis -- who had no grasp of time in years or decades -- It was almost like saying that she had seen her last month. While everyone else changed, Artemis was happily oblivious to the fact that she should be changing, too. "I was lonely... I just wanted... I just wanted to be near someone who wouldn't hate me..." The little girl in her green dress looked no older than seven. Her eyes were gentle, and fierce with youth, but they bore a shallow deepness. A wisdom reflected just under the surface. Not the wisdom of age, but the wisdom of time... The knowledge she had gained, but none of the secrets of life...

Keiko smiled and then laughed, "I knew that..for sure. I knew that was Latin." She quickly looked away from the child, shaking her head...
I totally knew that was Latin too...eh...
Keiko turned to the child, "I've tried to forget about my childhood, it was rather a painful time in my life." She did the math inside her head,
Where was I when I was nine? She thought back, Oh! The academy...but I don't remember much.
She smiled and gave a little bow, "I'm sorry I do not remember much about my academy days, other than I was with Kinami-sama for a good part of the time.
I wonder if she is trying to tell me that she is really older than me, she is just stuck inside that body, never to change. I wonder if she knows what's going on.
"Ah, I see. I don't think anyone would hate you, you are one of the sweetest little girls in the world."
You where a sweet girl too...but my family still hated you.
Keiko sighed, "Let's get you somewhere safe and warm. Maybe some food, a story, and a bedtime story?"

"We... Shared a few classes... And then they gave me my tattoo and made me leave the academy..." She must be referring to the tattoo on the inside of her lip, the one that Keiko had been shown earlier. "I didn't want to... But they told me I had to." She smiled softly at Keiko's praise, blushing very palely --more turning a darker shade of white,-- as if not used to it... But she reached a tiny hand up to Keiko's cheek, giving her another hug, as if she was trying to make the pain go away. As if trying to take it into herself for Keiko.
Keiko was... Offering her food... Shelter... And bedtime stories? "But... Gig-kun" --As long as he wasn't around, she could call him whatever she damn well pleased, without his "adult-ness" getting him angry with her.-- "And the others... You came to play with them... You don't have to let me ruin your fun...." The girl looked down to the ruffles in her dress. She really didn't want to be a bother.... Artemis nervously fidgeted with her black choker, the silver pentacle dancing in the light as she covered the scar across her throat. Just a glimpse, but Keiko would see it was a straight scar... A knife... Or a sword...
Ever since she had been 'killed,' she hadn't aged. They had no explanation, and they had no idea exactly what had happened to her... With all the genjutsu in the world, no one had been able to crack past her concrete barriers around that time period. All they know is the generalities they could get from physical evidence. But how an untrained seven year old girl was able to torture and kill three adult males was still beyond them. (Although, no one doubts her aptitude for the art of torture, they don't see how a child could overpower three adults.) For many, Artemis was something of a challenge... She was not only un-aging in all ways, many posed the question of whether she would ever grow old... Or ever die of old age, for that matter... Only time could tell.
But as it was now... She was just another scarred and scared child, doomed to a life without peer, and an existence without true meaning. Luckily... She would never know any of that. She lived on, paying no attention to time's all-encompassing hands pulling everyone forward and forgetting her...
Although...
If she proved long-lived...
then...
She would have to watch everyone she knows --many--
and everyone she loves --not very many--....
Grow old... And
... And die...

[Song: Kirisute Gomen Crowd Hype: 3]
The band had made a short pause. Anyone that had heard of Trivium knew what was coming. The most creditable song from their entire career was about to start. And that it did. The bass of the drums struck and the fans were on their feet. Then the guitars started doing their thing. This song started somewhat soft from the instrumental, but that would soon show to be an illusion when the lyrics started.
He who walks the fire breathes!
He who walks the fire breathes Unlike the rest Living by the bloody creed Kirisute gomen Air of battle tasting stale Reeks of deceit Send the bitter straight to hell Kirisute gomen
In their wretched guts all they want is to feed Unending, covetous hunger known as greed As the last legion makes it's way to the skies
I can see in their eyes They've already died Inside, but as for the outside I'll take their ******** heads
Quake has bred with the storm Conceiving war Wicked stampeding hordes Kirisute gomen
In their wretched guts all they want is to feed Unending, covetous hunger known as greed As the last legion makes it's way to the skies
I can see in their eyes They've already died Inside, but as for the outside I'll take their ******** heads [x2]
[Chorus:] I will never be what they Want me to I live by my own path in life No turning Back now, I won't be held down Forced into a shallow grave built upon their empty ways There's no turning back
There's hell to pay, such disarray A bloodied mess, flesh masquerade With all the blood making a flood You made your path by crossing us
He who spits the fire seethes All he detests Decapitating, bloody creed Kirisute gomen
In their wretched guts all they want is to feed Unending, covetous hunger known as greed As the last legion makes it's way to the skies
I can see in their eyes They've already died Inside, but as for the outside I'll take their ******** heads [x2]
[Chorus]
I will never be what they Want me to I live by my own path in life There's no turning back
The band seemed like they were just as into this song as the fans. Heads banging and hair flying as they played. The lead singer drinking from a water bottle and spitting mist into the crowd. Then throwing the half empty water bottle into the crowd. The remains of the water spreading and cooling off the crowd as it flew. This performance was much better than anything they had performed thusfar.
[+1 to crowdhype. Will be 4 for next song.]Raisuke was somewhat more into this song. But it still wasn't as great as the fans made it seem. The must have been total freaking fanatics or something. But Rai could almost feel Shinratsu's annoyance even from so far away. He would say something into the headgear they were all wearing. "Lighten up Shin. I know its not the affiminate stuff you are probably used to. But its for a mission, so atleast try to act like you have decent taste." Even knowing full well that Shin couldn't see him.. he had a smug grin on his face. But Rai would get unfortunately distracted from this little 'bonding moment' with his teammate. Several people were trying to get onto the floor. A couple of them had bracelets on already. But a few of them didn't. Rai would check through them. And one of them didn't have a ticket that said floor. "Your seat is two rows over." The man tried to argue and Rai just shook his head. "You know, i'm calm right now. But my coworkers are rather irritable. So I suggest you go." He had a little gleam in his eye. The kind that said 'go away or ill eat your ******** face'. It was a farce, but the man bought it. He grew silent, swallowed his breath and walked back up the stairs. Appearing that he was leaving all together, instead of changing rows. [[Shizuka, my rolls are for Rai's DCs. Nothing to do with the band.]]

[Trivium song four hype: +3]
Giglamesh stood there, as the song started, it began to sound not so good. however once the drums kicked in during the beginning it got a lot better. He would listen to the lyrics, the one he could understand, they were pretty good this song was better than the last, the crowd however was making it out as if it was one thousands times better than it was, it was pretty good, but that acted like they would ******** die for it. Oh well each to there own. Giglamesh would look up at his gate, and it was like not a single person wanted to come down those stair case towards gig, maybe they were a little scared. But why would they be scared?, he only stood six foot eight of muscle, had one eye covered with a eye patch and a huge scar coming out from under that patch, he only had four katana's hanging for the rear of his waist, and to top it off he snatched up two teens that tried to rush the floor when he wassent even paying attention but grabbed them so hard and fast they never set foot on the floor, but none of these were reasons for them to be scared right...right?

A small click earlier had indicated that Shinratsu did turn the radio back on but right after hearing Jin's voice when his patience was already short-fusing... A veinpop formed on Shinratsu's forehead. He could almost see that smug smile. It was a naturally understandable reaction, but he didn't even seem to realize that he was roaring in his native tongue (Hanzi (native) Chinese, so in Mandarin) into the microphone: "Zhou kou - ni wang ba dan!" Shut up (imperative), you b*****d! "Kou wei? Kou wei! Shen mei kou wei! Ni feng la?" Taste? Taste! What taste! Are you insane? Shin did not seem to calm down as he continued... The last piece, however, was addressed to Giglamesh: "Hun shi mo wang - wo hen ni da shi dao!" Demon Emperor (demon incarnate) - I hate your esophagus (guts >.>)!
Click. Ah. The connection to Shin's radio died again.
Grumbling darkly, on the other end, Shinratsu continued passing out the wristbands to his line of customers. And his mood continued to deteriorate, too, as his soft voice was not used to yelling. Great...even that stung now. In comparison to the others, his line of customers was very, very...well, short. And even his meager line of customers began whispering in alarm as, though the child before them had roared in a foreign language...one thing was certain: the dark aura-of-doom had returned.
Probably, if one was to ask, even he himself would most certainly agree: oh, he felt like he could even crush his Hyouton limit's drawbacks very easily about now... Well, metaphorically speaking...with that fire burning in his eyes.
Band: Trivium DC: 1d20 (4) + 3 = 7 23-25 three rush the floor.

Keiko's eyes got big, "Eh? Come again, you were in some of my academy classes?" Her jaw dropped, "Eh?!"
Why can't I remember anything about the academy?! Ugh, I remember two people getting a tattoo, I just don't remember anything else. Why is this so damn confusing?
The scar caught her eye, she tipped her head, "Gig...will be fine with it. Well, he will have to be because he tried messing with me earlier, it didn't work out to well for him."
She smiled, "Besides, it's loud here, and I was pushed into coming...well, not really. However, they have enough people, it's not like anything will happen." Keiko got up from the floor, and took the child's hand, "I believe there was somewhere quite over here..."

Artemis just followed the woman, her mouth open, watching Keiko in wide-eyed amazement. "O-OK...." The girl's footsteps were almost completely silent, and she seemed to glide across the floor with unnatural grace and poise. Why would she be so nice to me? She doesn't even remember me... The child showed none of her contemplating on her face. No, that was blotted out by the aforementioned amazement. Artemis glided along Keiko's side, her tiny hand tightening infinitesimally within the 'older' shinobi's hand. Artemis' eyes seemed to take the entire environment in as she looked towards their destination, but she didn't look paranoid: She was curious to see more... She was curious to see a quiet place in such a large, loud place.

[Final song - Master of Puppets Hype=4] The music had completely stopped as the lead singer cleared his throat. "Alright our set is coming to a close. I want to leave you guys with a song that helped us get our start. This is a cover song from the most influential band in history for us. If you don't know this song then SIT THE F.UCK DOWN BECAUSE YOU AREN'T A REAL METALHEAD!" with that, the wail of the guitar started. Two of the guitarists were already headbanging, swinging their hair around.
End of passion play, crumbling away I'm your source of self-destruction Veins that pump with fear, sucking dark is clear Leading on your deaths construction
Taste me you will see More is all you need Dedicated to How I'm killing you
Come crawling faster Obey your Master Your life burns faster Obey your Master Master
Master of Puppets I'm pulling your strings Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams Blinded by me, you can't see a thing Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master
Needlework the way, never you betray Life of death becoming clearer Pain monopoly, ritual misery Chop your breakfast on a mirror
Master, Master, where's the dreams that I've been after? Master, Master, you promised only lies Laughter, Laughter, all I hear or see is laughter Laughter, Laughter, laughing at my cries Hell is worth all that, natural habitat Just a rhyme without a reason Neverending maze, drift on numbered days now your life is out of season I will occupy I will help you die I will run through you Now I rule you too
Come crawling faster Obey your Master Your life burns faster Obey your Master Master
Master of Puppets I'm pulling your strings Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams Blinded by me, you can't see a thing Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master Just call my name, 'cause I'll hear you scream Master Master
As the lyrics stopped, the music would slowly be faded out as well. And then the lead singer would bring things to a close. "Alright, now that brings us to a close. We are going to go get drunk now. Now if you liked us, I want to hear you make just as much noise for the next band. You may or may not have heard of them. They are Coheed and Cambria. Show how brooootal you can get." He emphasised the words brutal and get with a little bit of a metal growl. Then the lights would fade just enough for them to leave the stage, then came back on.

[roll hype +4 + 1=5nothing happens]
With that first guitar riff h already knew what the band was and the song covered. Metallica's master of puppets....a song which kaijinbo always greatly enjoyed. He was right also it was a cover song for metallica's master of puppets, this was a great song for them to pick. They had manipulated it some which was fine as it was a cover song and not a tribute to them, then played it faster than normal....he hoped that the back up vocalist wouldn't scream the master lyrics, and thankfully and luckily he did not surprisingly. They had also cut out the guitar solo, which they should of added to get the crowd even more hyped up, but they did not. Even giglamesh was wanting them to add the guitar solo, being somewhat disappointed when they did not, but all in all that was one of the better songs they played. Then he announced that was there last song, they had made it threw the first band with no major scenes, would the second band prove to be as diffacult, how was the rest of the cell holding up?
