(Uh.... Iceears would follow you guys anyway so she would've heard you...)
[Iceears had followed Broken secretly and overheard the conversation about the eagles. She shook her head and sighed softly.]
My vision seems to be coming true. I have to go and investigate. I need to find out whether this is all true or not. I'll do it for the sake of my clan!
[Iceears thought as she nodded to herself. She came out of the shadows as if she ahd just come up and heard nothing of what had been said. She narrowed her eyes at Broken and comanded,]
"Get back in my den now! Bluepaw, Serpentpaw, brign him back to my den while I go out to get some herbs."
[Iceears didn't wait to see if her comand was followed and left the camp, following Broken's scent to the Seaclan/Breezeclan border.]

Loyalty means nothing unless it has...  SaltpawSaltpaw padded back into camp, sniffing furiously. Her fur clung to her, refusing to dry itself. She tried her best to hold in the yowl of anger and depression that was building inside of her. "Galestar!?" she cried out, "Anyone!? She stopped in the middle of camp, she didn't care who she told, as long as someone knew. [Serpentpaw heard Salpaw cry out for anyone to come to her aid. she courisly peaked her head out of the medicine den to see that she was soaking wet and a mournful look on her face. Serpentpaw gasped as she padded up to her fellow apprentice.] "Saltpaw, whats wrong!? your all wet, what happened!?" [She welcomed her over to sit in the sun with her so that she may keep warm and dry off.]

Loyalty means nothing unless it has... Saltpaw Saltpaw turned her head toward Serpentpaw, she wasn't a warrior, but she had asked what happened. "Jaywing and I went to catch fish...to lure the evil bird to the ground...but..." she looked down at the ground, refusing to sit in the sun. Her muscles didn't want to move, she wanted to lay down and forget everything. She wanted to be a kit again, with no worries and no mentor. "He fell into the river and..." she left the sentence hanging in the air to let Serpentpaw figure it out on her own. ...at its heart the absolute principle of self-sacrifice

[Serpentpaw began to grow concerned when Saltpaw did not come into the sun. she laid her ears back, knowing something was definitely wrong. her eyes widened as Saltpaw told her sorrowful news.] "...what.. you dont mean...." [Her gaze fell to her paws.] "no. not again. is there nothing Serpentpaw can do to protect her clan? why! why is this happening!?" [She began to let out a sorrowful meow to the sky.]

[Birdsong]
[I slowly hauled myself into camp, rabbits clamped in my jaws. I placed them in the fresh-kill pile, and twitched my ears, my green eyes dull. Turning around, I heard Saltpaw, and bounded up to her, almost snarling]
"What! What happened?" I growled, lashing my tail.

 Sweetmoon heard a screech from Serpentpaw and Birdsong. She padded over to the two. "Is everything alright? What's wrong?" She noticed Saltpaw and flicked her tail in greeting to all three before settling near them.

Loyalty means nothing unless it has... Saltpaw Saltpaw flinched back from Birdsong. "Jaywing....he..." she didn't want to repeat it again. Instead she looked over at Serpentpaw, praying she would tell the she-cat warrior.
Saltpaw shivered violently and let herself collapse to the ground. She was tired, cold, and hungry. All she wanted to do right that moment was pass out, to let blackness engulf her and take away the miserable day. ...at its heart the absolute principle of self-sacrifice

[tears filled up Serpentpaw's eyes seeing her clanmate suffer and knowing she had just lost another. she sat down right next to Saltpaw in a pitiful attempt to keep her warm, even though she probably was shivering for a completely different reason. she looked over to Birdsong and Sweetmoon, not a hint of a smile anywhere.] "Jaywing is gone. the river has taken him away from us. he drowned trying to catch a fish...."

[I began trembling uncontrollably, my lips drawn back in a snarl, StarClan kept on taking warriors away from us, and it wasn't fair. You couldn't just kill them because you felt like it! They had no right! I lashed my tail, nearly growling in anger. I had enough of our precious warrior anscestors just taking our warriors. We needed them, we needed all of them. I raised my head to the heavens, and let out a snarl of defiance.
Today is the day I no longer believe in you.
I turned back to my Clanmates, my eyes wild]
"He didn't deserve that. No one does. I'm sorry" I meowed emotionlessly.
[I turned and padded out of camp, the seeds of madness slowly beginning to gnaw away at my soul. As I left, it was almost as if I could hear the voice of my dead mate, as the cold breeze blew through my home.
Oh Birdsong.. How could you?]

 "If you ever wish to see me..."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bluepaw ran out form the medicine cat den and to Saltpaw's other side and laid down to keep her warm also and looked at Serpentpaw with a look telling her that Bluepaw already knew "Saltpaw, where's the apprentice den? We need to get you to your nest s you can rest" ((ha ha that rhymes)) when she said that for the first time Bluepaw realized that she was more of a loner to the clan then a clan member, she never slept in camp and didn't know how to tell the difference between the different dens besides the medicine cat one ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Loyalty means nothing unless it has... Saltpaw Saltpaw looked toward the Apprentice Den. She didn't want to go in there. She didn't belong. Her mentor had died, she had watched him die. So hadn't saved him, she didn't deserve the title of apprentice. "I'm not an apprentice...I don't have a mentor..." she said slowly, resting her head atop her paws. I'm an apprentice but I don't have a mentor" she purred, her name kept her an apprentice though she was a full grown cat-and she didn't mind it to much "I don't know where Ghostkit is" Bluepaw said quietly looking around camp for Ghostkit ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

To know that someone cared for her, that she wasn't completely alone. "You're right...I need to rest." She said slowly. "If you ever wish to see me..."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bluepaw stood up with Saltpaw and picked her up by the scruff and carried her to the den and put her down on the nest that smelt the most like her and licked Salpaw's head once more then padded out of the den "That was quite motherly" Broken purred "What are you doing out of the medicine cat den?!" Bluepaw hissed silently "Too many cats-I know what herbs Coldears treated me with, I looked around the den for quite a bit-I'm going home" "Fine but I'm going with you" Bluepaw said calmly knowing there was no way to change Broken's mind ((Bluepaw and Broken to Seaclan Breezeclan boarders)) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
