Slivers are totally awesome.
They've been banned from tourneys though.
But I still love my slivers.

Hashire Kazemeijin Zephyrkitty Hashire Kazemeijin @Kitty: How so? Just some banned cards? Or something more? There are about a half dozen cards with an ability along the lines of 'This card's name is treated as Harpy Lady'. At some point, they said that that ability applied during deck construction, so you can only have up to three cards with that ability in your deck. Mine has around twenty since I made it before then. XD I'm pretty sure the rule was added later. Luckily most of my friends don't care if I still use the deck. XD Yeah, she's special. I only have two of her, though. D:

NO ONE can run from you. I know absolutely nothing about Magic... xD But Sangan is banned in Yu-Gi-Oh Tournaments... I remember playing Yu-Gi-Oh on Boy Scout camping trips... xDDD How they didn't get ruined is beyond my knowledge. comic

I'm one of those guys who checks the banned lists every 6 months or so to check up on any changes and doesn't use any of said bans, but if I was going against a friend I wouldn't complain about cards that normally aren't allowed.
Although I do miss my favorite and signature Trap combo.
Ring of Destruction + Barrel Behind the Door = insta-kill if done right.

Harpy Lady 1 x3 adds 900 to all Wind monster's Attack.
Bladefly adds another 500 to that.
Aqua Chorus boosts same-named monsters by 500
And a field spell who's name escapes me adds another 500.
All that pretty much turns every 4 Star and below in my deck into a Blue-Eyes or more. So yea.
Easy fodder for 8k RoD damage.[/accidentalrant]
