I, as of today, realize why wisdom teeth have to be removed. They are FAR too big for one's mouth to handle. I got mine removed earlier today... sad ...I still hurt.

I almost think people with wisdom teeth are lucky... because people with wisdom teeth are rarely missing other teeth.
I'm missing an incisor, a molar, and all of my twelve-year molars. =P Six teeth, man.
But I'm sorry it hurts. Getting teeth pulled is nasty, especially molars. *wince* sad

Yechk! I've never gotten teeth pulled except for that time one of my baby teeth wouldn't come out while the new one was growing in under it. xp But I did get the entire side of my mouth worked on recently. Tooth decay between my molars. Doc gave me enough novacaine that I burned my tongue at dinner and didn't realize it till the next morning. Blargh!

Time has passed, and I'm definitely feeling better now. My mouth isn't bugging me NEAR as much.

SwordHunter James Time has passed, and I'm definitely feeling better now. My mouth isn't bugging me NEAR as much. I was born with a cleft lip, so they said my teeth would be bad. 5 teeth pulled out in three years, 2-5 years of braces, over 6 operations on my teeth, over 8 operaions on my lip, and eye tooth coming in backwards. Needless to say, your lucky.

8Aerin8 My LA teacher recently discovered she has 8 cavities.. sweatdrop Then she gave us a lecture on flossing. I've never had that happen to me before, but I imagine it was quite boring. I've had six cavities before, but they were all very small. So, it wasn't that big of a deal.

Ooh, wisdom teef. My own extractions were a b*tch. D:
My lower ones were still under the gums, so the dentist had some cutting to do. Then the PRYING. God that was horrible. I mean, yeah, I got novocaine in that area, but not in the joint of my jaw. I swear, it felt like the dentist was trying to rip my jaw off. gonk
Then the stitches. Man, when the pain killers wear off, they itch and sting so bad. D:
Er, yeah. Um, anyway....meet my new attack dog puppy, Shippo! I named him that because he oddly reminds me of Shippo from Inuyasha. mrgreen
Here, Shippo! Here, boy! You see that guy over there? In the top hat and green coat?
SIC 'IM. twisted

Doggy! heart wait... eh? ...Why're you growli- GAH! DEMON DOG! *runs*
XD I honestly, thought, (and I swear) that it was to make you stupid when they pulled your wisdom teeth out.
Which also made me make the stereotypical comment by saying, "100 bucks blondes don't have wisdom teeth."

I am afraid of dentists. I try to always go to the ones I know, since once I was forced to go to an unknown one, and he gave me what they called 'laughing gas'. That was the most terrifying experience of my life. I didn't know if I was dreaming, or if was real. Or even if it was a mix of both. The only thing that would come through all the dream/reality confusion was pain. crying

It's a nerve inhibitor. You actually felt 1/3 of the pain. Ask to be put to sleep instead. It's less painful. ~I can make banners now... Yay!~

Aerin! Welcome back!
The doc says that I won't NEED to get my wisdom teeth pulled but if they get a cavity, out they come. They just can't be worked on for some evil reason.
