The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight looked over to Skye he meowed to her answer making sure he Iceears was out of earshot.] "I'll only tell you this Skye...I was alone, and in a bad place of the forest..." [Hauntednight looked away from Skye and answered to Iceears.] "I-It hurts mostly on my shoulder...the politice Snowcherry made only soothed it for a little bit, I-I can't feel my shoulder." [He wispered in her ear.] "Does pain hurt so much...that you can't feel it?" ~=============================================~

You're not alone anymore, that's the important thing!"[Skye said kindly, not expressing her concern. The kit looked over at Iceears.]"Iceears, how do you become a medicine cat?"

"Yes, sometimes pain is so gret that your body will numb it. You'll be fine. Skye, you have to ask the medicine cat to be their apperntice and go through lots of training. When your mentor dies you are the meddicine cat."
[Iceears said calmly and kindly. Iceears looked at Dovekit and nodded. When Dovekit asked her question Iceears smiled and then said,]
"Of course you can!"

[Serpentpaw stepped fort from the shadows, returning from the gathering with Wavepelt by her side. she led him to a soft, comfortable pach of grass to rest on. Her emerald eyes nervously scanned the clan, as if she were counting all the cats to be sure they were all there.] Lets see... 1 2 3 4 5... WHERE IS- oh, there she is, ok. [Once she was sure everything was alright she began to relax and smiled once again.]

 Sweetmoon arrived back at camp. As she took a quick glance around the camp, she seemed to relax. Yet, she seemed uneasy as she sat in a corner. Something terrible is going to happen... i can feel it...

[Birdsong]
[I slowly padded into camp, my head and tail drooping. I don't even want to be here I thought sadly. I slowly padded over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a rabbit, it's delicsious scent entering my nose. I turned and made my way over to my corner, exhausted. I slowly ate my rabbit, savoring every bite, and then rested my head on my paws, drifting off into a deep slumber, escaping from the world, as the first pale strands of dawn began weaving their way through the dark stars]

"That one cat?" [She repeated as she tilted her head. there were many cats at the gathering, but the one that remand the most fresh in her mind was that little kitten. She thought that must have been the cat Wavepelt was speaking of since he seemed to be occupied when he ran to Lavenerrain.] "It was a little Nightclan kit. He..." [Her voice grew mournful.] :he said that one of their cats was murdered... and that Purepaw... had fallen off a cliff and died." [Her eyes began to moisten abit. She had only just met the little Nightclan apprentice, but it hurt her to hear her come to such a tragic and sudden end. She could only imagine the pain her mother, Lavenderrain was going through.] "The kitten was small and gray. his ear was torn badly. He seemed to bee shy and frightened though, he too hid into the shadows.. Serpentpaw was unable to see the kit's face though..."

[A sinister shadow projected itself across the clod earth as it disappeared, hidden the the shadows of the trees. Talon descended from the sky and let his enormous claws dig into the bark of a branch as if it were helpless pray. His cruel eyes scanned the clan as he ruffled his feathers with anticipation. Soon after, his minions descended into the trees, their ready eyes following his. One of the eagles spotted a kit and readied itself for a kill. Talon priced the unworthy bird with his sharp gaze.] "No! you are NOT to disturb them! they are not to know of our presence! if you kill one in the clan then Galestar will know we have returned!" [He returned his murderous glare back to the clan cats.] "I will not let Avalon's loved one live. he will not escape..."
[The mion recoiled in fear. eventually, he looked back over to his master.] "Talon... do you think.. maybe, if one was to stray away on their own i could eat it? we haven't eaten in so long!" [ Talon stared at his minion, then back at his flock. they all eyed him obediently, almost begging for a response.] "... only then, but the kill must be clean and sure. we dont one getting away and warning the others." [He then returned to scanning the clan, in search for his prize.] Avalon, you will suffer greatly for your mistake. You are not forgiven...

Wavepelt nodded at Serpents words. He put his tail on he shoulder, and pressed his nose against her shoulder. "It's okay Serpent, Purepaw is with Starclan now. All you have to do is look up at the sky and you'll see her, every night. She'll be one of the lights that helps us on our way to better gatherings".

[Serpentpaw looked up from her sorrow and smiled at Wavepelt.] "Yeah, you are right... she, she is with Starclan now. the eagle has carried her up into the stars, just like Serpent's mother said they would with all the good cats." [She looked up at the sky and smiled as a single tear fell to the earth. She began to purr and rub her head against Wavepelt's fur.] "Serpentpaw just wishes she got to get to know her better before she had to go..." [her eyes twinkled like the stars that watched them from above as she thought of her.] Please stary eagle, let Wavepelt and the clan not have to go any time soon.
(( oh the irony. Where Serpentpaw is from the cats worshiped golden eagles. some of you may remember that though. XD ))

 "If you ever wish to see me..."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Bluepaw padded threw the forest, she just returned from helping Broken make her den in the outlands for she had never made on before. She soon caught sight of Serpentpaw and Wavepelt and ran up to them "Hi you two, how was the gathering!" she asked happily ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
