Ikken Isshu Satsujin didn't stop scanning the horizon. Every once in a while, she turned her head under the pretext of glancing over at Faeandra, while in reality she was checking behind them. "'Tired' and 'uneasy' are two very different things," she said in a businesslike, no-nonsense tone that she often adopted when in danger or otherwise on a mission. After a second, she glanced at Faeandra--actually looking at her, not checking their rear--and frowned. "Sorry," she said. "No, I'm not tired. I'll stop when you're ready, and not a moment sooner," she said seriously.

((I be back! Much apology-like. And Bard, let me judge what offends or bothers me... stare ))
Aer stared down at Lux, who was staring up at Tekira. After a second, Lux's eyes vanished and reappeared so as to face Aer curiously.
"I think," Aer started, "well, if he isn't hurting you, maybe he's just hitching a ride? Although he can fly, so I'm not sure... Hey Lux, maybe you should leave her alone."
Gurgling a little dejectedly, Lux fell off of Tekira's hand and sort of... flumped across the floor, bouncing up onto Aer's shoulder. Aer didn't feel any weight, just an odd tingle.
"Well," Aer said to Tekira and Janika, "shall we go?"

Satsujin nodded silently, and walked around the copse of trees quickly. She crisscrossed through it a few times, and then returned to Faeandra, sheathing a katana that she must have drawn at some point during her walk.
"It appears safe," she said, "but we ought to sleep in shifts, if there's any possibility of monsters attacking. If you trust me, I'll take the first watch so you can get some sleep."

Once I Walk Away... Since Tekira was almost as lost as Janika, she just shrugged again and turned to look at Aer....I May Never Come Back

Aer gave a small smile to Lux, and turned around, looking for an exit. "And yet again," he said, "we find ourselves exploring this ship. Hey," he added, looking at Lux, "I'm curious... If Lux could tap into the ship's power, I wonder if he can do other things by interfacing with the ship...?"
Lux chirped oddly as if in affirmation, and hopped off of Aer's shoulder to hover in the air before him. In a bizarre mixture of light show and hologram, Lux slowly flattened out and took the shape of a rectangle, which then slowly changed to resemble the ship itself. The lights then dimmed for a split second before returning, and Lux had become a 3D blueprint of the ship. Aer grinned at the girls and then reached out to take hold of Lux. Lux was cold, and didn't really feel solid at all, but he moved as if Aer had taken hold of him, so Aer didn't question it. Turning the ship-model over in his hands, Aer examined it closely.
"Where are we?" he mused, and Lux answered the question immediately. A bright white light appeared in a smallish room. Taking the hint, Aer followed with, "and where are the sleeping quarters?" Elsewhere in the model, a room lit up in blue. "Can you show us the simplest path there?" Aer asked, and a yellow line began to draw itself from the white light to the blue room. Aer frowned; surely they could find their way there with this much, but if Lux could do that much, then maybe... "All the doors in this room are closed," Aer said. "Can you open all the doors and hatched from where we are to there, to give us an easy path?" Immediately, a door behind Aer slid open with a soft hiss. "Wonderful," Aer said. "Thanks, Lux."
