Rai walked out of the academy livid. He kicked the door and growled under his breath. "I'll teach him to treat me like some ignorant kid... I'll show him." He clinched his fist and kicked the door one last time. 'I'll teach him. I swear it...' He walked away very upset and clutched the scroll at his side. He might as well learn as much as possible as he could. He continued to walk aimlessly thinking about his upcoming training. As he walked the world around him started to blur, narrowly missing a couple walking down the street. He noticed just in time and side stepped around them. He sighed and looked around. The only place he could really think of training in peace would be the grove.

Rinkane walked into the village with a smile on his face. He took in all the smells and sounds. They were all new to him again after training in the forest. Everything was sharper but even so the mist had still been in the village and crept along every wall and floor surface. He had grown up here yet hardly ever noticed everything. His training opened his eyes to the world around him. He smiled and need to do some actual training. He walked and walked and walked. He didn't know where to go or why he left the grove. He just had a pull about where he should be. Like something was attracting him somewhere. He growled when he realized he was on the steps of the academy. He clutched at the scroll in his jacket pocket as he walked up the rest of the way and pushed open the door confidently.

Masanori, the charming ninja, walked the streets of kiri with nothing in his mindset. Today was a day of boredom, atleast that was what he expected it to be. Nothing really happend these days. Some days he trained, some days he flirted and some days he trained. "Ugh.. Mission.. That is what I need.. Or it dosen't have to be a mission" he said as he took a seat on a bench in the center of the village, "just something fun.. This mist is making me all.." he waved his fingers infront of his face as he tried to come up with a word. ".. Negative" he sighed as he threw his head back at the backrest to look up at the sky. "I wonder where the freaky shark is.. He always does something, even though it is often irritating and ugly"

"Dum-di-di-dum" he sang on his bench, with his eyes gazing at the beautiful women that passed him by. "Oh my.. For living in a gloomy mist all life, these women sure are glowing." He needed to do something, quickly, his anxiety knew no limits. He shook his head and started to walk away from the crowd, a ninja should do other stuff than look at women, maybe. "Hrm.."

Kaijuu Masanori lvl 7. Hp: 70 CP: 63 MHp: 70 Initiation roll: 12d20 + 3 = 15He leaned his body against one of the railings that surronded the sidewalk. "Something fun should happend soon," he said, sighing even louder than he had ever sighed before, blowing some hair out of his eyes. "I mean a ninja should live life on the edg-.." "Edge?" a dark and mischevious voice could be heard from behind Masanori, a blade slowly crept it's way into the young shinobi's eyesight. The man took his place next to Masanori, and lightly touched his blade against Masanori's elbow, looking out at the same emptiness that Masanori was. "You know.. Brat.. You've upset alot of people with that personality of yours." he took a brief moment to summon up all of the spit he had in his mouth to then shoot it out over the edge. "Some of those people... Being of the baaaaad kind." he smirked and turned towards Masanori. Lee lvl 5. Hp: Cp: MHp: Initiation roll: 3d20 + 2 = 5

Y a m a n a k a ღ I c h i z o k uThe best method is obviously the one that expends the least energy. Theme: Second Time Around
They took him to the apartment today.
Your premises, they said.
Inori's eyes swept quickly across the empty room. But feeling a sharp retort rise on his tongue, he swallowed quickly, and simply mutely nodded in answer. This was not the time for his usual comments, even if his own thoughts were on a far more different direction than this presently demure face he is presenting before these representatives of Kiri. How empty. He wanted to say, sarcastically. If his parents were on probation, what was wrong then with being able to live with them? His mother... His loving, theatrical mother was probably worried sick and he only hoped that peaceful sleep at least came to her in the rush of evenings.
Granted, there was nothing wrong with the room itself. There was a stove, a small bathroom, a floor table for eating. He'll have to get tatami mats later on, but the government was remaining true to their word to provide room and board. Even a small allowance for purchasing food too. Until he starts officially his career, anyways. He threw his sleeping bag on the floor roughly, feeling more than a little angry that they were expecting him to graduate the Academy in a month. What were they thinking - that his mother gave him prior secret shinobi training? Ridiculous, he hadn't even known about his grandmother.
This is the present curriculum. They gave him a scroll, and when Inori accepted it, was surprised a mid-sized thing could be so heavy. It probably was at least a few yards in length. And the standard kit for students... He accepted the pouch, opening it, and was unsurprised to see the sharp metal gleam of a kunai. Kunai and shuriken, of course. Standard equipment.
It was only when they left him alone, and the front door clicked shut, his eyes once more surveyed the room.
"Home..." Came the quiet murmur.
"I suppose."
He didn't have a holster or a proper waistpouch, so he simply shoved the kit into his bookbag, and the scroll along after it. Even if it's just to spite them a little, he didn't want to attend classes - no, not yet at least. He did realize he would have to eventually. A month wasn't a very long time. As much as he wanted to simply just lay down somewhere on the beach, that wouldn't be a wise deviation. So he headed to the library. He had never needed a teacher for a proper start before, and he wasn't going to need one now.

As he left the Ramen stall Shinzu began to jump from house to house, he needed to think and doing exercise was the best way he knew how. That isn't to say he didn't appreciate the benefits of a particulary long 'thinking' session. As it had so many times before, this seesion focused on the events of 2 years before, Mistress' invasion and his father subsequent death. Even though it had been two years since it had happened, and since that time Shinzu had become a shinobi, he still had trouble dealing with the loss. 14 + 3 = 17 vs 13 Pass
Shinzu continued his jumping and running from point to point, his body more or less acting without major though from him. He hardly noticed anything during these sessions, he was just too focused at the thoughts going through his head. There where many this time, and it didn't take much for his mind to shift from one thing to another, the only common theme being his emotions and his father. 20 Autosuccess
Balance(Dex) Training Shinzu is still bitter over how slow he had moved during his fight with Massaraku, and is determined to work on his motor skills as she eats. DC: 10 + Dex Mod. 3 = 13 6/10

Shinzu shook his head, trying to clear his mind, deciding that perhaps he should focus on his training, more then his thinking. He didn't think this because he considered training more important thatn his personal feelings, no he just got more and more emotional and thus compromised the more he thought about it. Naturally during this time, he missed a step, and slid down and angled roof. He barely caught the edge of the roof, preventing himself from falling three stories. 9 + 3 = 12 vs 13 Fail
Reaching up with his other hand, Shinzu got a good gripa nd then pulled himself onto the roof, his heart beating from his near fall. Shakily standing back up Shinzu straightened out his ruffled clothes and set out again, trying to go as far and fast as he possibly could. For some time he managed to keep his thoughts clean of his hidden pain, though that grew slightly harder. 14 + 3 = 17 vs 13 Pass

He jumped quickly and easily from building for some time until Shinzu's mind began to drift yet again. It was getting harder and harder to push his emotions away, make them hide and stay out of his way. He still managed to keep his feet solidly placed, as he jumped around from point to point. The thoughts kept taking up more and more of his focus, however, even as he tried to keep them out. 15 + 3 = 17 vs 18 Pass
Shinzu really had to stop thinking so much as he trained... This time he only feel one story, but it was onto his face, bloodying him up somewhat. Regardless he got up and started going again, he was not going to stop until he had improved his ability to move quickly. He had to honor his fathers memory in some form, right? He became a ninja to honor his memory, and he intended to do that. 2 + 3 = 5 vs 13 Fail
Now back on his feet, Shinzu jumped up to the spot where he had fallen, and set out yet again. It only took him a few moments to work his way up to his previous pace, and he even surpassed it a few moments after that. He was also starting to clear his mind, for now at least. Thing where getting better for Shinzu and who knew, a few years from now things jsut might seem normal. 15 + 3 = 17 vs 18 Pass

Shinzu's reaction time, and thus his jumping speed, had definately benefited from his balance work. As Shinzu continued to speed up, things grew slightly harder, but he managed to adjust. Finally after having run, and jumped for what must have been nearly 20 minutes, Shinzu finally stopped. Leaning up against the wall of a house, Shinzu faced the soon to be setting sun. Panting heavily he sat down, and he smiled. For now he was content with his past, how long he would remain so was a good question, but he pushed that questioin and enjoyed the site of the Hidden Mist Village. 19 + 3 = 21 vs 13 Pass
