Julian laughed at the ruckus Chloe's chikorita was making. Julian thought for a moment before his hand strayed to two of the pokeballs on his waist. Julian lifted them til they were in front of him and they opened slightly, sending out two brilliant flashes of red light. Rose and Nezumi appeared where the light touched and looked around. Nezumi instantly ran to Julian and clung tightly to his leg, while Rose ran over to the vaporeon and the others. Julian reached down and carefully patted her on the head. "I'm glad you're feeling better Nezumi." he said with a smile.

Nezumi looked up at Julian with a slightly fearful look on her face before smiling happily. She climbed up julian's leg until she was able to climb nimbly onto his shoulder. She ruffled his hair slightly before lying down carefully, so as to not fall.

Julian was very glad that Nezumi had seemed to have forgiven him so easily and looked at Chloe. "I'm surprised to see you with a grass type." He chuckled.

Rose was with Brayden's and Chloe's pokemon now and stared curiously at the grass pokemon. She nudged itslightly, attempting to get it off of the other pokemon, clearly annoyed.

Julian smirked slightly. "Going up against and ice gym leader is bound to be a challenge for you Chloe. I hope you do well. I understand how some trainers choose to specialize in certain types but I try to choose my pokemon in a balanced way."

Julian looked at Nezumi on his shoulder and couldn't help but smile. "Though it is my pokemon's personality's that really decide who I keep with me in battle. I always like to make sure I surround myself with pokemon i can really trust, like Nezumi and Rose."

Nezumi's cheeks sparked happily at Julian's comment and she rubbed her cheek gently against his.

Rose meanwhile stared at Lillie a bit longer before grinning at the young pokemon. She playfully leapt at her and pinned her to the ground, sticking her tongue out at her.

Chloe nodded, "Yeah, I'm definitely going to take Kaze out for this one," she laughed, "I'll definitely need his help for this gym."

"I do have some other types other than dragons, but I definitely like dragons more than most other types," she looked to Entreri, who was just about to voice his distaste for her comment, "Of course I make exceptions, though," she laughed. Entreri merely harumphed, settling down on her shoulder, glaring.

Lilie flailed wildly with a, "Chikuuuuuuuuuuuu!" as she tried to escape the dog pile Rose had supplied her with. It wasn't any use, though, as she broke out into a giggle fit.

Nido tilted it's head and looked at Rose and Lilie and slowly walked over to them, wanting to join in on the fun. Pidgeotto watched from his perch on Ricardo's shoulder as Charmeleon sat at his feet.

"I usually try to keep a balanced team too. I plan on having my pokemon know moves that will make them more all around. That way I'll be able to take on more types and have the advantage, or just plain be strong." Ricardo said, petting Pidgeotto softly. "Personality has some to do with it to, but that's more for who I let roam out freely with me than who I use. Pidgeotto likes to cause trouble sometimes, but if he's happy and with me, he's usually pretty well behaved."

"Geez, what is with all these Onix!?" Chloe griped, as yet another rocky snake made its way towards her.

She summoned Saku before her once more, the Shellgon diving at the Onix with a Zen Headbutt when commanded. The Onix countered with a Slam, as Saku used a Dragonbreath, causing the Onix to retreat a bit. The rock snake countered with a Rock Throw, as Saku darted in with Zen headbutt once more. Another Slam from the Onix had Saku grumbling, but she finished off the Onix with one last Zen Headbutt, before returning to Chloe.

"Thanks again, Saku," Chloe grinned, as the Shelgon glared at Entreri, who merely sneered at the easily jealous dragon with a snicker. Chloe returned Saku before the two could start another fight, before turning her attention back to the conversation.

"Haha, yeah, I tend to train the more eccentric Pokemon," she laughed, earning another grumble from the Weavile on her shoulder.

"While I try to have each of my Pokemon know a move to help cover their weaknesses. For example, Entreri has Aerial Ace, just in case we run into another fighting type, right?" she grinned to the Weavile, who smirked. They had a run-in with a wild Machoke while trying to track down the claw needed to evolve him into a Weavile.

Lilie laughed, before leaping on top of the Ivysaur's bud, trying to escape the tickle, still giggling.

Julian watched as a wild Zubat dove out of the darkness towards him. He jumped out of the way quickly, moving Nezumi to his arms. The Zubat came at Julian again and he hissed at it, baring his teeth. Nezumi leapt out of Julian's arms and launched a bolt of lightening at the zubat. The Zubat flew back and flinched before launching at Nezumi and biting her. Nezumi winced slightly before shocking the bat again.

Once the Zubat was beaten Julian scooped Nezumi into his arms again and healed her with a few potions. "Thank you Nezumi. I'm glad that you would still trust me enough to protect me." Nezumi smiled and nuzzled herself into Julian's chest.

Genshi laughed at SHojo's hyperness. When Hopeless began talking to her she looked at her a bit confused. "I like other ghost pokemon, they are much more interesting than those with flesh." She chuckled softly. "Also, I'm not a boy."
