Ours is umm....special. There's a lot of anime nuts, some of which are very immature, and then there are the people who are acctually interested in the culture. Movie nights are always special. 3nodding

See, that's nice, I want that. It would almost be like all my friends getting together to hang out and watch anime 'n stuff but that's so rare. I think it's been over a year since we all did that... actually it has probably been over 2.

Moi, je m'appelle Kyle, j'ai 18 ans et j'habite en Irlande du Nord. J'étudie le francais et je l'aime.
I actually went to France with my school in March there, it was awesome. biggrin

I've been to France, Christmas of '93 I believe, saw all the major sites of Paris. A restaurant we went to wanted me to have wine for dinner.. it was some nasty stuff, good food though.

I drank the wine to avoid being rude as we were staying with a French family just outside Paris. It wasn't bad with food but I wouldn't drink it when not in France xd I loved Paris, the sights were all awesome. The only bad factor was the band of middle-eastern women that kept coming up to us and trying to take our food.

I'm sorry, I really haven't a clue xd
On a different subject altogether, I wanna learn Japanese! I've seen you guys use it alot and I've been watching Hiro Nakamura from Heroes and just wishing I could speak it. Soooooo, would anyone be willing to teach me VERY BASIC Japanese? biggrin
The only phrase I know is
"Watashi wa nikku o tabemasu" and I'm not even sure how to pronounce it.

Simply put this is how to pronounce things:
A= ah sound I= ee sound U= The "u" sound in you E= eh sound O= oh sound
The alphabet uses these vowels by themselves and with these constanents:
K,G,S,Z,T,D,N,H,B,P,M,R, and some others that I don't currently have time to go into detail about.

What Sliph posted is Katakana, which is mostly used in situations where the word is foreign...as far as I understand anyway. Like for American names. 3nodding
