Hello! My name is Katie although on here I'm always known as Akibe. I'm 20, and I'm currently studying Ancient History at Royal Holloway University, near London. And yes, I'm British. Well...Anglo-Italian more than anything else.
I don't have any children yet, although eventually I want 6 (4 of my own, 2 adopted). However I have 3 siblings, I was 5 when my brother was born so I missed most of the baby stuff, however my first sister came along when I was 12, and my other sister when I was 14, so I've helped my parents with both of them at various times and have picked up lots of random info from my Mum.
I've also had eczema since I was 2 years old, it's one of my most vivid memories, so if you have a child with eczema and you're not sure what to do, then just ask and I'll see if I can help ^_^.

My name is Lisa, and I am a 44 year old mother of a 14 year old son, and a 11 almost 12 year old daughter. My son introduced me to Gaia and we pm each other all the time, sometimes even when he is in school. My daughter just started last week and so far is having a lot of fun. I will celebrate my 20th anniversary in October and currently work for the US Post Office. Until I joined Gaia, most of my spare time was spent with my nose in a book. I LOVE to read. Now my spare time is divided between books and Gaia. I hate TV, but love playing Video games with my kids. Our favorites are Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, although the kids also enjoy Jak. I was very happy to see a link for this guild in someones signature, I was glad to find other parents here. I think that's about all for now. smile

Hi everyone. My name is Alesha but you can call me Ali. I'm 19 years old and I am the mother of a beautiful baby girl who we named Krystah Marie. She is 2 months old and growing up so fast. She's so much bigger than she was when I first brought her home. She's smiling now and making those cute baby sounds, when she's in a good mood that is. She colicky. sweatdrop We've got her on everything from Soy formula to Mylicon drops and let me tell you those drops are wonderful! If she misses even a day without them I can't get her to stop crying. Anyway, she's a stubborn baby and always has been since before she was born. She was in the breech position and I had to have her delivered by c-section. Well, my doctor and I did try and external verison but it hurt to much and I just had her delivered. My name is Cheri and I am 34 years old. I have adopted my little sister 14 years ago and my little brother 6 years ago from my mom who was unable to take care of them. They are my life now. When I adopted my sister my husband left because he did not want children. Too bad on his part. I live in New York not the city. My hobbies are many I love to sew and work my in home business. I also love to be on Gaia when I am home all by myself. I love meeting new friends and I love to talk. I am a nurse who works on a cardiac step down unit. Which is busy in itself. Feel free to PM me.

Hi all.
I'm Paws, I'm 20 years old, and I'm pregnant. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with this baby right now, but I've always wanted to be a Mother, and now I finally have that chance. My boyfriend goes on Gaia as well, his username is TheIronHentai. Thanks for letting me in the guild. :3
edit: Unfortunately, today we found out some pretty bad news. I'm not going to be having the baby. But, I'm still looking forward to being a Mommy some day. :3

I'm Endless. I'm 17 and although I'm definitely not ready to be a parent just yet, I know that in the future, parenting is for me. (To be honest, I hope a get to have a little boy of my own.)
I hope to get to know you all better and get knowledgable about parenting from all you battle-scarred veterans.
And for the record, I read all of the rules before I even thought of posting. They're very well written and cover everything that could every be thought of. Way to go! surprised

My name is Jenni, I have been married a year and a half. I have a stepdaughter who is almost six and my son who is a year.
I'm still adjusting to the mom thing. My stepdaughter came to live with us a month before my son was born and it's hasn't been easy. She fights us over everything.
I am looking forward to talking to other parents, (beside my own lol ), seeing as my friends are all still living the single child-free life...

Hello. I'm Ellen, and I have no children right now. I am a Grammar Nazi, and most of my online time is consumed by the Literate Spam Guild, some of you may have heard of it. I joined because I thought now would be a good time to learn about children and how to raise them them with a modicum of good sensible parenting [XD], and because I wanted to learn from all you veterans of the daily war that is parenting. :]
I love Douglas Adams, and treat the Guide like the bible. I have been known to swear on it, by it and for it.
I am still living at home with my parents, and we reside in Mill Creek, NC. It's a very small community of about 600 people, and I am related to almost all. Seriously. [XD]
Yeah...That's about all I can think of right now.

Hi. I'm a 34 yr old sahm of 5 kids ranging from 15, 13, 7, 6, and 6. They are all girls except one of the twins. They were all vaginal deliveries. My youngest/twin was breech and she is also left handed. It's kind of our joke that she does things her own way. I also bf all 5 of them. Not at the same time wink I was only talented enough to bf two at one time.
I've been on gaia for a few months with my own account. Previous to that, I would pop on my 13 yr old's and poll for her while she was at school. And then I got addicted rolleyes so here I am. I found this guild when I clicked on the discussion option/search. I just want to say thank goodness that there really are adults here- I thought I was one of a handful. When I first came, I only met a couple.

hi all. my names angy, although i mostly go by gigie. i have a 2 year old son named bash. hes a hemophiliac so im on my toes double time. but its been a great adventure thus far.
im into music and reading. im a stay at home mom, which has been a learning experience. (im finally learning to cook things that dont come straight out of a box!)
i enjoy looking at and getting tattoos, classic cars, cartoons, and horror movies.
im terrible at introductions, i get terrible stage-fright rolleyes
so ill be taking off now.
