Well if everyones here lets..... Kari said but then stoped to count.

1,2,3....... Kari counted. Wait who we missing.......

Kari looked around, Zeth was next to her Glacian was behind her, but she couldn't see Diamond anywhere.

Hey where's Diamond wasn't he in the room when you were making the lightsaber Zeth? Kari asked looking around for Diamond.

Oh, Kari said with a jump when Zeth told her where Diamond was. Umm, Nevermind hehe, Kari said giggling scratching the back of her head nodding with her eyes closed.

"Because Zeth, in that district there are always fights, wounded, criminal activities and all sorts of other things and people that need solving or assistance. Therefor it is the perfect place for us to go. You can practice heal at a wounded person from a fight, sense and meditation to solve robberies or other crimes, investigate them, or jump, push, pull to chase a criminal.
For that, you must be armed with a lightsaber. Initiates however are not ready for lightsaber combat according to the training, it is too dangerous. Therefor, all of you who haven't reached that rank already will be promoted to padawan. If you did not built or aquire a saber already, you can go to the technical lab of the temple to get one, afterward, you will build your own.
If you wish, we can review blaster deflection before we go, it might be a good idea."

"Hold on a second, Zeth. Perhaps one of the others wishes to practice the skills of blaster defelction before we go... Here are a few remotes, just deflect the bolts. Concentrate on the drones with the force, the force can make you predict their actins...as with living beings. I think you can all handle the padawan level, perhaps experienced even. Good luck, remember to use the force before all other senses...."

Swex clips a view drones from his belt and throws them into the air. It should keep the students busy for a few moments, then they'll leave

"First, we will remain in one group. Later we'll split up, as suggested, diamond with Glacian. Glace, you'll get the lead of that group, you are the most experienced student here

Zeth, I appriciate your effort but remember I am the leader of this group. Sometimes you have to accept you're not the director. You're a good student, but you'll have to learn not to be arrogant, it might lead you down a path you don't wish to walk...again"

"I'm fine with that master. I have no problems working with Glacian, we work well together and will prove a powerful combination."

Diamond looked around and seen a few remotes flying about the room and decide to practice his saber skills. Suddenly he summoned his lightsaber from his belt and activated it.

The green beam of energy emitted from the hilt of the weapon. Diamond briefly rotated the weapon in his hand before going after the remotes.

He knew that they would likely swarm him so he planned to use a variety of maneuvers to defeat them.

As he stood waiting for them to attack he let go of his conscious self and let the Force flow through him. He could feel the exact locations of the remotes and when they were about to fire.

The first of remotes attack from behind and with one swipe of his saber, reflected the energy blast back at it and in the process disabling it.

One down....

The second and third remotes attacked simultaniously and both aimed directly at his lightsaber hand, Diamond had to quickly move out of the way to avoid being stung by the shots. As he turned to face the remotes he reached out and turned both remotes to face each other as they fired for the second time. Both beams of energy disabled the remotes and left them in a smokey pile of debris.

Now Diamond had to finish off the final remote and knew this one was not going to be outsmarted as easily as the others were.

This time Diamond was not as eager to attack as he was before and took his time encircling the last remote. Its sensors picked up on his every move and timed every step of his movements. The remote fired several shots but Diamond deflected them but none of them hit their target as the remote was moving too fast.

Within several minutes of the constant deflecting and moving Diamond discovered away to disable the droid but it would mean destroying it. He had to do it though otherwise he would never complete the exercise.

The droid attempted another attack but this time Diamond was prepared and as soon as it fired he used the Force and propelled his lightsaber at the remote. As quick as he did it, his weapon cut through the droid and destroyed it.

He still Force Jumped to avoid the lasers though but while in mid air he called his lightsaber to his hand and clipped it back onto his belt. He landed on his feet and let out a sigh of relief.

"Now that was a workout"

Kari headed quickly off to get a lightsaber, she arrived at the technical lab were a droid was standing at a counter.

Master Swex told me to come here to barrow a lightsaber. Kari told the droid.

One moment, the droid said. After a few moments the droid returned and handed Kari a lightsaber hilt.

Please return it when you are done, the said told Kari.

I will, Kari said as she ran out headding back to the others.

When Kari got back she saw Diamond training by a remote and chooce to do the same. Kari pulled a remote out of turned it on, the remote would not first tell the lightsaber was on, so Kari took this time to concentrate.

Kari closed her eyes and took slow deep breaths, she then opened her eyes and turn the lightsaber on. Like before a blue beam came out of the hilt, when the lightsaber was active the remote began to fly around read to shoot.

Kari concentrate, she could feel the remote, when it fired her lightsaber semmed to be ready to block it before it even fired. Kari could feel the remote and was able to defend before it even had a chance to attack.

Kari then closed her eyes, she wondered that if she could know its movment before it attack when her eyes were open maybe she could do it with her eyes closed. It was easier to concentrate with her eyes closed, which made it easier to block the remotes shoots. With the last shot Kari deflected the shoot hit the remote deactiving it.

Kari turned her lightsaber off and sat down. The training took more out of her then she thought. Kari sat and looked at this saber and again wondered what her will look like.

I guess when we get back i'll have to go make one for myself, Kari thought to herself

"Hey Kari. You look exhausted. Dpn't worry about it too much as you eventually get used to it all."

Diamond looked around the room again and noticed Zeth and Swex starting to talk in the corner but was hoping that they would hurry up so they could head out into the streets.

Kari thought now was a good time to try force sense. Kari sat and began to concentrate on the force around her. The force seemed to flow though every person, and be given a feel from that person. Kari could feel where everyone in the room was, she felt the force in the room and others, waiting for the time to leave.....
