I think cloud like tifa because of thier history heart . I think that cloud and aries thing was just a fling that was started by aries hitting on cloud domokun , and yuffi... neutral need I say more?

I think cloud was a playa. He liked all three. He liked Aries because she was all young and innocent (he should have seen her on Saturday nights smile ) He liked Tifa because she was married and off limits, and he liked Yuffie because she was dark and dangerous. In all, cloud was the ultimate mac-daddy

In all, cloud was the ultimate mac-daddy actually aerith is older than cloud and tifa isnt married(where did u hear that?) and yuffie isnt exactly dark

Hm, good question.. Personally, I think it was Tifa since well, there were a lot of mushy scenes in the game.. like that time where everyone went home at the end of disc 2.. and Cloud and Tifa were alone watching the sunset or something like that.. my memory might be a little fuzzy.. but yeah, i dont think thats something people in a brother/sister relationship would do.. like come on! He slept on her lap!!! and then they were embarassed been seing together when the got back on ship suprised to see that everyone came back.. It's possible... definitely not yuffie though.. definitely. Stealing people's materia isnt showing them you care stare and i don't like Aeris too much, so i might be a little biased.. xp

Taking a perspective from both the game and AC, my money is on Aeris/th.

Take a look at the interaction between Cloud and Tifa in Advent Children. The fact that it is Aeris/th who gives him the motivation/freedom/encouragement before things get rough at the Forgotten City weighs majorly for me. Tifa seems to have taken on the Mother Hen role to some respect. I doubt she calls and nags him, but the strategic placement of her VM on his phone, her thoughs and expressions when she is with Marlene, even her expressions towards cloud at the near-end of the movie. You can also see the restraint on both sides that they both intend on keeping it friends only.

from the game POV, I think Cloud uses Tifa for a bit to lighten the loss of Aeris/th, but you never see any full out want (or options to do such, unless you haxorz the game and made him do it!)

aeris...because if he did like tifa, why is it that even after aeris' death, tifa and cloud are not together? i mean in many cameo appearances, advent children, and the game itself, one could see it's aeris.

*POSSIBLE SPOLIERS*
Advent Children
-Cloud's dying, but he doesn't seem to care about spending the time he has left with Tifa. Since most people want to spend the time they have left with the people they love, it doesn't seem that he loves her.
- Cloud doesn't tell Tifa that he has Geostigma and doesn't tell her that he moved into the Church. Why is he hiding things from her if he loves her?
- If Cloud's hiding things from Tifa, he apparently doesn't feel understood by her.
- Cloud lets the answering machine pick up messages from Tifa instead of answering the phone. He seems unwilling to communicate with her, which doesn't show that he loves her.
- Cloud chooses to talk to Aerith's spirit about his need for forgiveness instead of talking to Tifa about it, which shows that he feels better understood by Aerith and that he has greater trust in her.

((Though, after watching Last Order, I got confused and thought maybe he liked Tifa before he met Aerith... X.x; ))
And besides, isnt Cloud looking for Aerith or something in Kingdom hearts? He's not looking for Tifa...at least I dont think so.
