Yumi had caused a great commotion in the Shinsengumi headquarters earlier that day. She happily remebered the surprised faces and the completely pink face of her former horrible boss. When she had revealed that she knew about the plan every single face in the room had suddenly looked many shades paler than before, they obviously didn't trust her. Quickly the commander in the room had told her she was welcomed to join them and that it was a honor to have her there with them, he did that just to save the situation and make sure Yumi wouldn't leak the information to anyone. This decision was not accepted by many in the room and a loud fight had begun. After a while though they had to secretly agree that they couldn't do anything else than let her into the group too. Why was Yumi smiling then? Well, she now knew she had a lot of power in the group, since they all were afraid of her and didn't trust her and therefore would do anything to keep her satisfied and happy. Yes, it was pretty much perfect.
In front of her she then saw the figure of a boy around the age of 15 equipped with many swords. She immediately turned around and started walking in the opposite direction.

Chaos didn't even notice that Yumi was in front of him. He walked from the town and onto the road. His grey eyes covered by the straw hat. He walked slowly taking his time as he went along his way. His eyes moving here and there. He breathed slowly and evenly, the blades free in the open for others to see. His other unseen weapons hidden from view for his own conveinence.
He walked without thought, nor much of a destination. He would walk to the wilderness to rest and spend many of his days immersed in survival training as it were. He didn't find need to interact with people. They only irritated him. He had everything he needed out here and would do just fine.

Chaos heard about the battle and war everywhere he went. It was to happen soon. So far this revolution had been one fought in the shadows. This would be the determining factor more likely than not. He wouldn't involve himself in it. It was no longer for him.
Chaos walked along his mind thinking. It wasn't the best thought he had been indulging in. He sighs and keeps walking. He couldn't carry these weapons any longer. He didn't want to kill. He could feel himself losing more on his humanity and more on himself. He didn't want that. His master wouldn't either. He passed through many towns on his travels. He was heading back toward the boats to go to that island. He needed to get away. He needed to give these weapons back to that man. The one who helped him before.
His gray eyes stared ahead. He didn't want anything other than this. He had to get away from this death and blood. He couldn't shed it again. He refused to, for the simple fact that he may lose it. He was already feeling his sanity slip in wonder whether this was right. He hated it dearly and so would not keep it at his main way. He would find another way to live. A life of a rurouni was a good way. It would work...at least he hoped so.
((So it's a little Kenshinish but give me a break xd ))

Maybe it was faith, maybe just a coincidence, but that same day and moment Yumi happened to be at the exact same place as Chaos. It had been a while since Yumi last saw Chaos and she was rather shocked, she even had a hard time recognizing Chaos.
"Chaos?" She walked up to him. Yumi had also changed. Someone that hadn't seen her in her earlier state wouldn't beleive it was the same person. Obviously she had been enjoying herself, being able to actually fight like she so many times had hoped to. Only one thing hadn't changed, her eyes still looked as brutal as before.

Looked at the woman he had met 5 years ago. His gray eyes watching her for a long time before he bowed his head. He had been training on his own and traversed the land easily. He still had weapons at his side, but there was no large weapon at his back. Only a two katana at each side now.
The 20 year old man stood looking at Yumi though. As if he didn't know her, but in those eyes was Chaos. That young rude boy that believed himself the best. He bowed to the surprise of any who knew him. He had a low bow of respect before rising to look at Yumi again. "Hello Yumi-dono. It has been a long time that it has. Is the war over yet? I haven't been paying attention to it very closely."
He was much better looking now. Standing about 5'10" and weighing probably about 120 pounds. His dark yukata was new and one of an obvious ronin. He had probably come to town to simply buy this new one. How he had any money was beyond to those who watched him. This new man had something the young one had never known or seen...it was...humility?
((Sorry for doing that but I want to keep Blue in the story and such whee Plus I think I flowed it pretty well hehe))

Now Chaos shocked Yumi even more.
"What? You sure you haven't bumped your head somewhere?" She laughed, but then realized he wasn't joking.
"No, I don't think the war is over yet... but you can never be sure of anything really."
((sorry for the shortness... I'm too tired sweatdrop ))

Chaos bows again and turns from her slowly. "Tis a shame Yumi-dono...so much bloodshed for nothing." He walks from her slowly, his movements slow, sure and determined, yet something about him was different. He had something that he never had before. Yet he had lost something as well in the process. It was hard to determine what that was.
The man in the dark yukata walked, having not drawn either blade at his side in 5 years. He made them himself and what most wouldn't know is that one was a sakabatou, the other on his right truly a killing weapon. It could kill without a drop of blood spilling from it. His gray eyes solid and knowing. He wasn't a killer. Yet it was still there and obvious that he could with the drop of a hat.
He had learned the balance. In making any blade he learned that there is a balance, as well as a sheath. So he made two god weapons for himself. His best works. Both edges could cut anything and had power emitting from them that only the wielder could feel. This balance had become important too him, and so he rarely drew his swords. He hadn't in a long time finding no reason to do so. To preserve human life needed a way to keep it in balance of law and chaos. So he kept that in himself. The balance that was needed. The rurouni known now as Himura Sakura instead of Chaos walked. His eyes ahead of him. He pulled his hand to his face and then put it back in, continuing his movement forward. Maybe he was being rude, but it was more like...he didn't know her. Yet he had called her by name. Was that even possible?...

Chaos Sakura ((Usually Yumi yells at him or something...she could run after him pissed off, or in wonder about what happened to him to change him so drastically...also I'm waiting for Blue whee )) ((Oh yes, that makes sense xd I'll do that xd )) "Oy kiddo!" Chaos would always remain only a child in Yumi's eyes.
"Where do you think you're going? It's very rude to just walk away, I'm still a lady after all." Yumi snorted, she obviously was used to getting more respect from everyone she talked to.
"So what've you been doing the past few years, you've obviously changed a lot. Just help me put my finger on exactly what has changed." It sounded more like a demand than a question, even though it definately wasn't meant to sound like that.
Behind her a Shinsengumi soldier walked up to her to say something, but with only one glare and a nearly invisible hand sign, the man backed away looking a bit ashamed of having interupted his commander. Behind her a group of men, all with a blue bandana, seemed to be waiting for her.

((5 years have passed Blue whee )) Chaos stopped when she asked him the questions and turned to look at her. Finally he...smiled? His lips curled up into a kind soft smile. "That would take a good while to explain Yumi-dono...You seem to have some peopel waiting for you though. I don't wish to intrude upon your judgement." He bows again their maai far too large for an attack of any kind except long range. He rose and waited for her response, whether she dismissed him or otherwise.
