I used to play the trumpet, so I had no idea how blatantly annoying they are! A bunch of the other woodwinds hate them too, and even when I played, I didn't like the first chair. Too braggy ;]

I have no particular dislike, but sometimes the flutes hurt my ears ^^" And, even though she's my friend - ah, the oboe! But, she just started. She did really well in her solo for the concert, though biggrin 3nodding

I'd have to say the bass drummers...
every single time, it's like they take "play softer" as "play slower"
kinda hard to keep the tempo up...

Drum line because they can't watch the drum major to save their lives, and piccolo. Not flute, PICCOLO. I like the piccolo, but we march only piccolo and there are 16. Can we say tuning? Dx

I honestly don't have any problems with trumpets, since my best friend plays trumpet and I used to date a trumpet player. The instrument I feel like is most unnecessary (I never learned how to spell that word...) is bass clarinet. SO ANNOYING
Unlike the majority of you, we happen to love our drumline. They're quite great.
Piccolo's okay too, cos we only have 1 during concert season, and 4 during marching.

Okay, no offense to all percussionists, but my Band percussions slightly suck. Whenever we have to stop to correct something it tends to most likely be a percussionist... But I love them anyways! blaugh

I know the totally go to fast! Plus there pricks alot! They're also quite stubborn when you tell em their wrong (which chancers are they are) but they do have the whole rhythm restin on them quite a bit of pressure aint it Well yeah! But this one time at practice! the band had a whole different tempo then the drumline! They started counting outloud on there beats! We were at like beat 2 and they were like on beat 4. It was a move in the show that we were doing and everyone were on differnet beats! When the drumline did that it threw us all off! We were so mad! jus cos they need to know and keep the rhythm doesnt meqan they know it... we used to have this glory goer drummer BL kicked him out LoL

hmm i don't Hate any instruments..I hate some of the people who play on them X_x...in my flute section there are alot of people i dislike but i don't hate the instrument ^_^

They suck, and they're out of tune always.
You'd think in high school band you would know your scales, and most definitely your chromatics..

I hate the alto saxes...a lot. They never shut up, playing the most retarded video theme songs. scream
I also hate our trombone section because they are the reason why the band is always on the verge of detention/punishments... stare
