ハーイ。僕は浦飯経妄荷です。 I've been learning Japanese for almost a year now. WOW! That's a long time for me! Language is the one thing I don't give up very easily. I might be going to Okinawa in a few years and a few months after that I'm thinking of moving to Oosaka or Toukyou.User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Aikachi
Oooh we're a guild now =D awesome! *glomples everyone*
My name is Aikachi and I have been studying Japanese for about... 3 years sounds right o.o I don't know as much as I should though X3;; ah the beauty of self study >.>;;; Anyways! I am 20 years old, going to college for computer animation. wheeee X3;;; Its good to see everyone n.n

ooh if you catch me speaking weird Japanese, thats Kansai-ben ^^;; I've been trying to learn it =3

*sniffs* A girl after mine own heart! Granted I have only just started to learn Japanese, however I am going to school for computer animation as well. Yay for cartoons! (Well, that's what I'll be creating once I'm out of school anyway.)

I am Ms Smamy and I have had a grand total of 3 lessons in Japanese. An old co-worker of my dad's is teaching me because he took 4 years of it in college. I was ecstatic when he agreed to teach me. I am so fascinated by the whole country that I plan on living there for a while here in the not too distant future. I love everything about it.

Also I meet once a week with about 4 others to practice Kendo... we are an unofficial club and I have only been doing that for about two months, but I am already in bogu and I'm told that's a pretty good sign. Well, I hope to chat with a lot of you soon!

Ohayo, Minnasan! Watashi no onamae wa Ulexialu desu.

Good morning, everything! My name is Lexiel. heart I have a very, very dry and minimal Japanese vocabulary, regrettably, and am a complete beginner. gonk I wish this were not the case, however, I'm hoping that this guild will assist me in going beyond that. 3nodding I've got a few friends from a school in the city where my father lives that have been giving me little tidbits of information on-and-off, but in order to do with this language what I need to do, I've really got to hit some hardcore information. sweatdrop

I am a senior in highschool, I am 18 years of age, and I am a musician. I think that's pretty much all you need to know.. aside from the fact that my school is moronic and only teaches three very boring languages- even though I love German. gonk

Hello. smile My name is Dorothy, I'm 14, and I began learning Japanese a year ago. I have 3 books [ but I usually just use 1] that my dad picked up when he was an engineer on a traveling cargo ship many years ago. They're a bit old...the one I use most is from the '40's, I believe, but they're still useful. I also use some websites for practice, new lessons, and review, and last year I bought a computer program to help me practice pronunciation, conversation, and memorization of the characters, but it won't install correctly now. D:

Despite having started a year ago, I am still a beginner-lower intermediate because I didn't practice nor work on it that often. Now I have regained my interest and have started to learn and practice every day! biggrin Yay.

The reason why I would like to become fluent in Japanese is mainly because I find Japan's culture/society/people interesting and would like to visit the country some times, and besides, " knowledge is power!".

Konbanwa! Watashino namaewa Julie desu! (Good Evening! My name is Julie) I'm here to learn full Japanese! My goal is to become a character designer for Square-Enix! And guess what! my goal is 50% complete, all that is left is to go to college, and of course learn Japanese! I used to host Japanese Exchange students for about 3 years, they were all girls, but I only consider 2 of them my closest sisters. Their organization in Japan was Y.E.S. and the organization here was F.A.C.E. My first sister's name was Hikaru Taguchi, and my 2nd closest sister's name was Ayako Yamada, I love them both very much!

Through my years of hosting exchange-students I picked up a little bit of Japanese, however, learning Japanese words is not so hard, Kanji is a bit difficult for me, hiragana and katakana are pretty easy. (I tend to relate them to drawings) However, my Japanese Grammar is poor! Please teach me all your knowledge about it!

I also have a Japanese Kanji name, given to me by Ayako and my other close Japanese friends, Hiroshi, Kie, and Manami. Here it is: 寿梨泉 (JyuRiIzumi)
寿 ー (Jyu)Stands for 'Happy'
梨 ー (Ri)Stands for 'Pear'
泉 - (Izumi)Stands for 'Spring'

I love the combination of my name given to me by my sisters and friends. I consider it the best gift in my life thus far.

I am a willing student! And I love to learn! Once more, teach me well!
Arigatou Gozaimasu! (Thank you very much!)

Watashi wa Reita desu.
Watashi wa Amerika-jin desu.
Watashi wa nijyuu ni sai desu.

What little japanese I speak is either very formal, or very derogatory. I've been self-teaching for a few months now, but I need to learn faster. I'm going to be moving to japan in about two years, and I'm going to need to know much more than I currently do.
