rofl FawN do you mean the kittens dad.. Okay, phew, I know you dont but.. that's the first way I read it and I couldnt decide what that mattered. The kittens arent so little anymore, and sadly their dad didnt make the move with us.. All 3 of those liters were from the same daddy cat. They are a bit bigger now, and less likely to hold still for the camera. And yes Indigo's daddy is around. He's sitting in that chair over there -points-

Georgey posted another pic of me having a play in Sherwood Forest, i don't know where he'd been hiding this one because i hadn't seen it before ninja that was the shot where i popped the balloon blaugh you can see the colour of my hair too, i'd only done it the night before but it didn't show up in any of the others. i have to say, i fully understand why female warriors used to cut their left boob off, your appendages certainly get in the way for this sport confused i'd still like to have another go at it at some point though, was very good fun 3nodding

I agree with that one. I snapped myself several times when I was learning to shoot. I was taught to sort of hold my shoulders in more like I was going to hug someone to prevent that from happening. I was pretty black and blue a few times from hitting myself.

Wow, that's odd! I was having a convo with someone on vzones today about shooting with bows and arrows and how much it stung when the string twanged on their arm, even WITH the arm guard on. I can't imagine cutting off a boob though! gonk (I'm so tender right now, the thought's making me nauseous!) And I agree with Bip, it can't be THAT fun to want to do that, but I guess back then it was more of a basic hunting/defence necessity than fun...

Oh FawN my sister n law used to bruise her arm even with her arm guard on all the time. I can say that it is a great way to tone your upper arms because I used muscles I don't normally use and I was sore for a few days.

See now that's why they produce boob guards. So that women aren't hindered by their chests! :p
And if you were ever to do it properly Selena, you would need one too, because if you were ever to do it properly, altering your stance like that, would hinder your performance no end!
The best way, not to get it to snap on your arm is to work on your release. If your finger release is smooth an in the right start point then your string will go nowhere near your arm guard.
I've only eer snapped yself once, and it was becasue of the arm guard. It was an old one and was sticking up awway from my skin. When I released it caught the string and snapped on my arm. So since then I have only ever shot without an arm guard. :p

i didn't hit myself on my arm thankfully, but the string was getting friendly with my n****e a few times when i drew, i imagine i should maybe have moved my left arm forward a little, but the instructor left me to it after my first 2 shots so i expect i got a bit out of position. we only got to shoot 9 arrows, but i could feel it in my right bicep once we were done. there is talk of our next outing possibly being paintballing, now i can't say that's ever appealed that much, mainly because nerds and geeks tend to like it, but the lure of getting to shoot Georgey makes it far more appealing! That is actually the sole reason it was suggested rofl and not by me i hasten to add xp

Hehe, I've never paintballed (nor shot an arrow) but I fear one of these days my best friend and her husband will lure me into it. But at least I can use the baby as an excuse not to for the next 9 months! wink
The idea that geeks and nerds do it actually makes it slightly more appealing to me. Geeks and nerds are my friends! blaugh If it was only what the popular kids did, I would feel even more drawn away from it..
Jason and his brothers always play nerf gun war when they're spending the night at our house, and they have huge fun with it. They'd probably be a lot better with the aim than I would!
