Johanna sighed, while she believed Queen to some degree, as a medic it was hard to believe Queen wouldn't get involved, especially when speaking about people with love interests undergoing harsh situations.
"Alright, but for now please rest. I also need to have my mind in complete ease, the process is also stressful for me."
Johanna said before sitting on a chair which slowly transformed into a small bed in which the witch would try and have some rest to replenish her stamina and her magic.

"Roger that..."
Johanna said before knocking her lights out into a quick nap.


On the mean time, the brunette kept resting peacefully on the surface while Lilith's dream danced with her within the land of dreams, nurturing her wounds with the hellish flames created by it.

Within an hour or so, Johanna woke up, sighing as she knew it was about time for the surgery.
She gave a quick look at Queen, in hopes she could simply slip by her and perform everything out of her reach, but then again, the fact she might needed her in case the fire broke out was something she couldn't simply ignore.
"Why is it always difficult with you?"
Said to herself, speaking of Misty, since there was yet to be an occasion in which her involvement with the brunette lead to an easy transaction.

Johanna did notice Queen's ears Twitching towards her, yet another reason why she sighed. Since Queen didn't seem the resting type. While mercenaries would normally hide this, Queen's ears gave it right away she was listening. While a cute trait, it gave away she might had heard Johanna, which warned the witch to be more careful with her actions.

Sitting by the edge of the bed, she would give a quick look at Queen, those ears of hers following Johanna like security cameras made the witch roll her eyes around before deciding to move on.
With her energy and magic back, there was no more room for hesitation. She had to perform the surgery on Misty, the quicker, the better.

Quiet steps would follow Johanna's way towards Misty's room, a soft pad on Misty's shoulder was enough to wake the brunette up this time, although she was still a sleepy head.
"You know this is going to hurt... just try to stay with me... and please, don't set anything on fire..."
Johanna pleaded Misty, whom sighed between mumbles.
"again with the fire... I've no magic Johanna, you know that."
Johanna's hand would caress the brunette's cheek gently as they placed themselves on position for the surgery. Misty was silent, her single eye staring up at the ceiling with a stern look.
"I'll do my best..."
She replied none the less to which Johanna gave a weak smile.
"Good enough for me."
A bright glow would cover Misty's face as she quickly braced the bed sheets in anticipation to the imminent pain.
"BMF memory..."
She whispered this time, in hopes Queen wouldn't get to see this, which she still doubted but it was worth a shot.
Misty made her best to keep her lips sealed, but the burning sensation wouldn't wait and would only get worse with every second that passed. With only the first minute off, her body was already trembling, fighting not to enter shock.
"Stay with me... this is a long process. And we can't stop it now"

The time ran slowly as the surgery kept going. Misty's heartbeat would probably make Queen deaf by how loudly it yelled while her lips remained sealed, trying to withstand the pain that invaded every cell of her body.
By the time Johanna was done with her, Misty's eyes remained open but there were no light within them, as if she had become a perfectly crafted porcelain doll. Even her heart seemed to stop for a minute, before it began slowly and weakly start over again.

Exhausted, Johanna fell onto her knees, trying to catch her breath back, after all those were one of the most energy consuming processes she had ever done, even more with the fear of a patient setting herself on fire at any given moment.

They were both worn out.

The house became silent for an hour, perhaps two, time itself stopped mattering ever since the surgery was performed.
Even Johanna's first step after recovering felt like a raging thunder striking just a foot away from you.
Holding onto her head, the witch would walk her way out, using her magic to place Misty on a comfortable bed.

The kitchen went back to life, fixing food by itself, washing dishes by itself, Johanna had no particular will to do anything at all but sit by the table and hold her head trying to mitigate the fatigue and the headache.

Johanna would just grunt and hold her head, trying to cover her ears as Queen's voice reached out for her. Apparently her head was still a mess and everything was just so loud right now.
Still, she did her best to calm down. Her heartbeat obviously overshadowing Misty's since hers was very faint.
"I did all I could..."
Johanna replied. Trying to keep herself together, the food was just a few minutes away.
"... her body endured the procedure, but the rest is up to her. Luckily enough there was no fire but I do believe she's going to be very moody when she wakes up. Everything's going to hurt. And I can't use the ointment I used on you because she's not really the rest type of person."
The witch explained the delicate situation as best as her headache would allow her to.
"If we can't keep her still She'll have to heal all that by herself."

The witch would sigh in resignation once Queen asked if she couldn't just force Misty to rest.
"Misty is just like a box of explosives waiting for the lightest spark to explode. I've treated her before and so far I've never for once had been able to keep her still for more than a few days. You even look at her therapy... I had to exhaust her every day. She listens to no one..."
Johanna would pause, her eyes slowly drifting on Queen's direction as if something had escaped her thoughts.
"... No one but you so far..."
The witch would turn the rest of her body on Queen's direction.
"Look, if you could somehow get her to rest and remain still for a week. I'm pretty sure I could treat her completely... but understand you'll be putting yourself at risk should she not listen since you may encounter yourself with a lot of aggressive movements that may put you into risk"
Johanna would look at her seriously.
"Queen. I don't want to risk your health. So if you think you can't keep up with that, then just tell me you can't."

And once again, Queen would prove herself to be the complete oposite of Misty, being completely rational and calm about the situation.
"Just where did she took her from?"
Johanna thought for herself since she couldn't visualize these two together.
Still, she was glad Queen took her advice right away.
"Alright, then all we need to do is rest and wait for her to..."
Queen's ears would sense a massive heartbeat ratio skyrocketing before a heavy yell from Misty would break through the walls.
"grrraaaAAAAAAAAAHH!!!"
Johanna would sigh, being paused by Misty only meant they couldn't get any rest at all until they got her to sleep.
"...wake up..."
Johanna said while rubbing her temporalis. She was still exhausted she didn't even notice when the whole room was set on fire. Misty's headache was triggering the darkness flames which engulfed the room the brunette was in.
