"I will not hand him over" she said, her own gaze beginning to match that of her Shinx, who's fur was beginning to crackle now, especially when the Chandelure shreiked. "he's mine, and Raven is only 'vicious' to those that deserve it" she added, not discouraging him at all. She didn't miss the movement of the woman's hand going to her weapon but she wasn't about to give in and just hand over her Dunsparce.

The little curious bird noticed the young trainer talking to his pokemon and circled around him until he had time to pay attention to him too. Of course, soon enough, an outstretched arm was raised and the sounds of clicking made it obvious that he was allowed to perch onto it. "Pi~! pi?" Hi. Remember me? Within a flew flaps, his tiny feet clamped onto Mako's arm and he slowly inched himself closer to his shoulder. "Pi, pi - ko" was all the noise Piko could make to tell him how he feels. I sit here, you put down arm.He did not notice the tomcat with bright eyes staring at him from the ground up, but when he started to pay attention to him, the pokemon had already lost interest as he decided to lick his paw, grooming himself. ( sorry for the wait. had an emergency last night. )

 ((So sorry for letting this dangle. I'll try to just wrap it up.)) Juno stopped, straightened, and dropped her hand from the rapier. This was ridiculous. She'd been caught up in the thrill of the hunt, but now the excitement had faded. The Dunsparce had no real value, merely novelty. More of its kind would be found soon enough. This was hardly a prime specimen, in any case. Let the girl keep the useless, defenseless creature. "Luuuure," Desdemona sulked as the possibility of a fight vanished. The heiress smiled, sweet as poisoned honey. "Enjoy your prize, girl." Without any more acknowledgement of the tension moments before, she spun on her heel and began striding away through the dispersing crowd.

Rhei paused to take a deep breath after the incident with the Buneary, staying behind as Niko and the rest of the group delved deeper into the grass. It was with some relief that she noticed the quiet - she had traveled by herself all the way north from Katarina, and the journey had been a solitary one. All this sudden exposure to people left her suddenly reeling in the silence, but it was pleasant after a moment. For a few minutes, everything was quiet but for the rustling of grass in the breeze around her.
Then she heard ooohs, aaaaahs, and cries of alarm, and set off into the grass again. She followed the deep trail into the long grass, aware that if anything moved that wasn't supposed to, she might earn herself another accidental Vine Whip from Rima. All she could do was hope that it gave her a welt instead of a cut this time, but Rhei was tough; she had been falling out of trees and learning from her mistakes for a long time.
She reached the site of the battle just in time to see it wrapping up, and noted with surprise the pair of Bellsprouts - gathered around yet another Dunsparce? Before she could say anything or get any closer, though, the Pokemon had disappeared and the trainers were dispersing... And she didn't see Niko among them. As she crossed her arms, Rhei felt a keen sting, and knew that she'd over-stressed her wound. Sure enough, when she touched the bandage, a small, crimson stain appeared. "Bell," said Rima, and with her voice lowering at the end the way it had, Rhei knew that that was disappointment in her tone. Time to find Niko, she thought, running her fingers over the Bellsprout's leaves in an attempt to soothe her. Rhei craned her neck to see if she could spot anybody particularly tall, at least among this group, and set off in what she hoped was a logical direction to find the healer who had promised her bandages. And hopefully more intriguing conversation.
FrostyPeaches Aaaand we can start a new RP now if you'd like, them finding each other in or just outside of the grasslands maybe? I quoted you in the shop thread with plotty ideas. :3

(( wrapping this up for Niko. ))
There weren't that many trainers left in the grasslands now. Some left in groups of two or three, and some left on their own to head back where they came from.
The mysterious Dunsparce was finally caught, along with a few more bad tempered Bellsprouts, and to his surprise, no legendary pokemon had showed up. He initially came here in hopes to run into Xerneas but this trip made him realize that not everyone is fortunate enough to meet the immortality granter.
As a healer, he re-organized his backpack and looked around for the girl with the want to be human like Bellsprout. He wondered how her arm is holding up.
Whistling out loud, he called out to his Togekiss. He couldn't help but scan the area one last time before he decided to leave. "Come on Piko, we have to go. We don't want to be here when darkness falls."
Piko heard the whistles loud and clear, and let go of Mako's arm. He chirped and circled the trainer one more time before flying away into Niko's direction.
Niko started to head down the path that leads to Motterossa, where his family lives. He knew he could get there faster than going all the way back to Katarina. Still somewhat of a new trainer, he couldn't risk seeing Piko getting injured by wild pokemon. "Come on you silly, let's pick up the pace," he told the Togekiss as he started to sprint.
