Lael leans back in her own chair and says nothing, willing to wait until he's ready to talk. It gives her a bit of time to sort out what she's learned.

A young woman had been sitting in the lobby before the man had entered, clearly pissed off or frustrated. There was nothing she could do but blend into the background, which she was quite content to do at the moment.
Once the woman entered, however, she felt like saying something. Watching from the corner of the room, her silver hair covered, she felt that the two were already a couple, so she stays silent for the time being.

Sensing that she is being watched Lael looks around the room. When she sees the other woman she jumps up, surprised. "My God, there's someone back there!" she says without thinking. Calming herself she says, "Forgive my rudeness. You surprised me. I didn't think that anyone else was here."

The woman lifts her chin and focuses her blue eyes on the woman.
"I didn't need to tell anyone I was here. There was no point to proclaiming my presence," she says, still sitting in the corner of the room.
---- Westley moves his ears a bit that, if he was in his cougar form, would have put his ears in a lying position on his head. Mentally, he shakes his head. There seems that there isn't much he can say, especially with the appearance of the woman in the corner.

"Well it might have been more polite to let us know you were there," Lael says. "But that aside, I'm Lael. This," she motions to Westley, "is Westley."

Westley nods to the woman before standing up. "I'm going to take a nap."
---- The woman smiles to the man, letting him go.
She then says to the other woman, "I didn't need to be involved in the conversacion, nor did I listen to it, so why should I have brought attention to myself?"

Taken aback a bit by Westley's abrupt exit and the woman's answer Lael says, "Well, I don't know. Forgive me. It was probably rude of me to say that. I'm simply not used to being surprised." Looking at the door Westley left by she thinks, Didn't he already take a nap today? Is he just trying to get away? Turning back to the woman she says, "I'm sorry, I don't think you told me your name."

"Anything else we might want to know about you so we don't upset you?" Darian asks kindly.
"For the most part it's better to just stay off the topic of my past," Nathan says, his thoughts straying the the pentagram shaped burn on his right shoulder blade. "For everyone's sake."

"No, I suppose not. But I did introduce myself, and it is customary to gives your own name after someone has given you their's. Are you avoiding the question? Because I suppose I don't really need to know your name if you're so insistant on not tell me. I'd like to though. I like to know who I'm talking to."

The woman glances at her with light blue eyes, "Winter. Aurora Winter."
She stands up and stretches, "But seriously, I think that, from what I heard, the guy needs some time. I wouldn't know quite what he's been through, but that's what I think."

Well, it's a pleasure to meet you Aurora Winter," Lael says. She grimly looks in the direction that Westley went. "That much, at least, is clear. I have no idea what he's been through, we only met today after all, but it must have been something horrid."

"He's been through a lot," Lilly says, embracing Nathan, "As I'm sure you have, judging from that scar on your face."

"Just because you know more of the stuff I've been through than anyone else doesn't mean you have to brag," Nathan jokes, "But I'll let you get away with it this time."
Darian laughs a little at the antics of the couple sitting near him. "If you consider a few battles, the Salem Witch Hunts, and your standard hellish trip over from Europe in the 1700s or so a lot then yes," he says, half joking, "I have been through a lot."

The woman starts to walk away, though she stops to say something to the woman, "But I think that you might be falling for him, no?"
