Kitara smiles at her cousin as Jay nods in greeting.
"Darian, when do you wish to leave?" the bluejay-elf asks the young Moonleaf, "Kitara and I talked about it over breakfast and she is willing to let us leave as she will be staying here. She agreed to stay because I asked her to, though she would rather come with us."
The younger elvish lady nods saying, "I can stay here and learn a bit more from Aunt Anna. That would please me very much."

"Sooner rather than later." Darian replies. "After all, I promised Margem I'd go see her once I got my memory back and that I'd try not to be too long. I think it's about time I get at least most of my memory back." With that the elf stand and walks to his room. He makes his bed and grabs his belongings before coming back out into the dining room.

Jay stands up and says, "I'm ready when you are. I have all I need on my person, but you'll have to carry my weapons if you wish me to bring them as I can't carry them as a bluejay. That's my best travelling form, of course."
Kitara gives Jay a kiss goodbye, with well wishes, before going into the living room with Annalicia. She pauses to turn around at last minute.
"Hey cous, take good care of him, you hear? And Jay, take good care of Darian as well."

"I'm more afraid of you if I don't than anything I'll run into out there." Darian laughs. Turning to Jay he says. "Sure, I'll carry your weapons. I won't have any trouble telling them apart from my sword."

The bluehaired elf frowns in disapproval as she grits her teeth, trying not to say anything harsh to her cousin.
Jay nods saying, "I'll carry them when I'm in elvish form, but let you carry them otherwise. If you didn't, I'd be weapon-less."
He motions to his bow and quiver and continues to say, "I'll carry them for now, however. So, shall we be off then?"

"Sure." Darian says, starting to walk through the door. He takes on last look over his shoulder before bidding his parents and cousin farewell.
"Where's he going exactly?" Gregory asks Kitara.

"See you guys later," Kitara replies before turning to her uncle.
"He's off to figure out his past, pretty much, so he can be who he really is and so he can impress Margem Okalwa. He said something about not being able to be there for her if he doesn't know what his past was before the whole cursed blade thing. Jay's grandfather is one of the ones who could help him recover his memory, ironically enough."

"And I'm guessing this family conection is why Jay's going." Gregory says. "I know Darian would be fine without. It's good to see those two travelling together again though."
"Lead the way." Darian says to Jay as soon as they leave the house. "You know this villige better than I do."

Kitara nods before heading to the living room, ready to quilt with her aunt.
((OOC: I think we can leave them be for a while as we focus on Jay and Darian's trip. What do you think?)) ---------
Jay chirps a little bit, excited for the trip, before saying, "Well, we get out of the village and then we have to go down a path. It'll be a ways before we hit a few villages. We could get stuff on the way there."
He picks up his pace, leading Kitara's cousin as they wind through the houses and properties.

(OOC:Sounds fair.)
Darian follows close behind, trusting that Jay knows where he is going. "What'll you do once we get there?" he asks. "I know I'm going to be working on getting my memory back, but I'm not sure what you can do while we're there. Although I imagine it'll be awhile and you'll head back eventually."

He turns to his childhood friend and says, smiling, "Prep my parents to accept a daughter-in-law as well as a grandchild. That's my goal of this trip, besides seeing you to get your memories back so you can get back to her."

"Fair enough." Darian says. "Eventually I'll have to do the same thing for my parents. But I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, as the saying goes."
(OOC:What can I say? I like using sayings.)

"Well, at least you told them of your feelings for her. My parents have known that we have been friends since we were young. They just didn't know that we were that close. I mean, close enough to love each other as we do and to have a child on the way already, if you catch my drift," Jay says.
"And, as for you and Margem, once you get back to her, after getting your memories back, that bridge won't be far off, will it?"

"Hopefully not." Darian says, unsure of whether he would be ready to settle down or if he would want to go and see some of the places in his hidden memories.

"Well, just because you're married doesn't mean you have to settle down. You know that, don't you?" Jay asks as they continue out of the village.
