Clair Vault Universe Alexandra vs Infernus "Fooey" There's a link so you can't say I made them up. Infernus Difficulty: Above Average Storing energy Foey charged a stream within his throat. "None of your business! You should had thought about it before tossing your blade at me." The distorted voice would spoil the attack was incoming as he shot a threatening roar. Hiding the sonic waves that pierced their way against the brunette with deathly precision should it hit it would cause a shock on her. "Next time you'll learn about honor in combat" Stated Foey as he flinched back in anticipation of her next move. Abilities Used: +Frequency Wave: Infernus can fire a stream of sonic energy from his mouth. This energy is invisible but is able to tear apart solid objects and generally leaves a gouge in the ground where it hit. Even if an object is too tough to be torn apart, it is blasted backwards by the sheer force of the energy. He can do this in one steady stream or in short blasts Above Average - These opponents are more experienced fighters and even stronger students will have a hard time against them. You may want to bring a partner or ally into this battle. Stronger students have a chance of beating them one-on-one, though it will certainly be a hard fight if they do.

Clair Vault Universe Alexandra vs Infernus "Fooey" If that's what you really want then we'll fight by the summoner's code. 5 skills max. Honor my character and I'll honor yours. Infernus Difficulty: Above Average Rooted with a tight grip on the ground while and after casting Frequency wave, Fooey took but a second to detach the claws from the ground and gaining his phase on the ground few seconds later Fooey roars once more. This time just as a bluff but also to un restrain himself from the locked body he used to propel the stream. "Good, at least you've showed you are not a wit head. There's heart in every motion that you pull of. But you need also mind to win a match." Recited Fooey from a movie he saw just few days ago. While hilarious the quotation he took from the movie the most he could as there were some life lessons depicted in the epic tale. Quotations aside the demon began exerting his foot work. Applying psychological pressure on Alexandra as she approached. Marking the territory he owned form the arena with every step "Show me what you've got!" Dashing against the Russian girl, he suddenly tripped. Or so it appeared to be. But before his face hit the ground he avoided the impact by placing his shoulder first, gaining momentum over the fall, and curling up, he began a devastating roll against Alexandra. The Wrecking ball. He can do this in one steady stream or in short blasts +Scorpion Grapple: Infernus's tail is extremely dexterous and can swing around quickly. It can also lash out suddenly, extending up to three times its length before retracting back to normal size. The hooks on the end of his tail are extremely sharp and if they sink into an opponent, it is hard to break free. If an opponent has been snagged, Infernus will whip his tail around, attempting to bash his prey into walls, ceilings, floors and any other hard objects around. +Death Engine: When in a critically injured state, Infernus's power automatically increases exponentially. Red fire surrounds his body and he becomes extremely resistant to ranged attacks +Searing Plates: On command, Infernus can turn the metal plates on his body red-hot, causing extreme burning to anyone who touches them +Wrecking Ball: With this ability, Infernus can curl up into a ball, head and legs tucked into his stomach. Once he does so, he can roll around at an extremely fast pace. He often uses this to try and crush his opponent under his massive weight. he can combine this ability with Searing Plates for extra heat damage. Above Average - These opponents are more experienced fighters and even stronger students will have a hard time against them. You may want to bring a partner or ally into this battle. Stronger students have a chance of beating them one-on-one, though it will certainly be a hard fight if they do.

Clair Vault Universe Alexandra vs Infernus "Fooey" I can't really think of anything else to answer that. Sorry. Infernus Difficulty: Above Average "That's it Challenge me with your very best." Fooey said before being taken off guard by the stalagmites, dusting into air as he hit the end of the ramp "Woah" The demon spin out of control in mid air before receiving the stalagmites and landing heavily against the floor. Extending his tail he swiped around him while regaining his balance. Abilities Used: +Frequency Wave: Infernus can fire a stream of sonic energy from his mouth. Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard Carmen grinned as her Daisy chain and empathy link worked in tandem to cause massive damage to Illo. She landed her last punch for 190% damage before Illo tumbled away to the ground. "Darn it! I was soo close to a 200% damage hit! I haven't had one of those in such a long time!" She landed on the ground, watching as he rolled the fire out. She looked around the arena as she heard Illo's voice before looking at him again. She assumed he was talking about continuing the match despite his brutal beatdown. "Well I'm not gonna beat ya to death!" She told him. "If you're too beat up to go on, it's okay! You did a great job!" She didn't come towards Illo or try to attack him while he was on the ground: it wasn't her style to attack downed opponents. Abilities used: +Empathy Link: By focusing her wavelength, Carmen can resonate with her opponent, transferring a third of the damage she receives to them. This works much better on stronger opponents who do more damage. This ability requires a lot of concentration and sufficient damage/pain/mental attacks can break the resonance link, freeing the enemy from its effects. +Fireburst: Carmen waves her arm in any direction, causing a stream of fiery green energy that explodes like fireworks to trail after it. This can be projected towards the enemy or used as a small shield to block attacks. +Daisy Chain: By focusing her power into several moments in time, Carmen can begin a combo on a target once she lands a hit. The first hit has a 65% chance to land. From there the chance each hit has to land goes up by 5%. For example, the next hit would have a 70% chance of landing, followed by 75% with the next and 80% with the next. The highest this ability can raise her chances of hitting is 95%. In addition, each hit landed will increase the damage caused by each hit by 10%. Her first hit starts at 100% of normal damage. The second would be 110%, the third 120% and so on. This ability maxes out at 200%, double her normal damage with each hit onwards. This isn't a passive ability so Carmen has to activate it before an attack rather than any normal attack starting the chain. A miss or a pause in the attack that lasts more than several seconds resets the combo and Carmen has to start over next time she uses it. Blocking the attack or using an ability such as a shield to block the attack do not reset it. This ability has a cool-down of one post. (She can use it again the post after next) This ability gives Carmen a strong advantage against larger, heavier opponents who aren't fast enough to dodge an agile opponent such as herself. Opponents who would rather block and would normally be able to soak up many of Carmen's hits would find themselves being worn down as each attack became stronger and more accurate than the last until each hit was doing double damage. Hard - These opponents are very experienced and talented fighters. They are somewhere between graduate level and Death Scythe level in strength. Unless you are a Death Scythe or otherwise extremely strong, your chances of winning one-on-one are possible, but slim. You should strongly consider bringing a partner/ally to this fight.

(Illo at one third health) what happened:
Illo
What...? Oh no! There was a sharp spike in Illo's power, and the ground shook violently all around the arena floor as if the field sat tentatively on the back of a sleeping giant who was now stirring, preparing to thrash about in its waking throes. That giant was the power Illo could not keep under wraps any more, the infinite power of a god tearing at the finite will of a man.
The thickness of the aura of this new power was almost choking. The monk had entered a state of false enlightenment courtesy of the demons of enlightenment, and had within him the maximum potential for destruction for there was an infinite wellspring of energy, but no control. It showed as the crowd began to clear out in a panic.
It's happening again...! You have to get out of here... Please!
Illo put his hand up to gesture for Carmen to book it toward the door, but a trail of ghostly looking hands came up with him. There would be a great wave of energy tunneling toward Carmen now, and it gobbled up the ground as it went. Clearly, the fight was not over yet.

Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard Carmen took a step backwards and looked around as she felt the spike in power and the ground shake. "What the...?" she muttered, looking around the arena. Where was that coming from? She looked back at Illo as she heard him speak. "Wait, what? What's happening to you?" She asked in worried confusion. She was worried but she wasn't about to run away. She glanced back towards the door when Illo pointed at it, but looked back quickly when she felt the wave of energy. "Oh shi-!" Carmen reacted quickly, forcing all of her power into her Streamer ability and rocketing upwards. She managed to miss the main thrust of the attack, but its passing sent her spinning into the air tumbling upwards and then downwards again until she managed to right herself, coming down hard on her feet. "Whaaaat the HECK WAS THAT!??" She asked, still really dizzy from the spinning. She wobbled slightly but managed to keep her balance. [[sorry, been really busy with real life work and guild work sweatdrop ]] Abilities used: +Streamer: Carmen can use her resonance force to quickly accelerate in any direction. When she does so she's surrounded by a stream of bright green energy, protecting her from projectile attacks and hurting anyone who gets too close. It can be used as a ramming attack though that's not its main purpose. It is extremely helpful for dodging or deflecting ranged attacks Hard - These opponents are very experienced and talented fighters. They are somewhere between graduate level and Death Scythe level in strength. Unless you are a Death Scythe or otherwise extremely strong, your chances of winning one-on-one are possible, but slim. what happened:
IlloAnd as Carmen worked to regain her bearings Illo closed his eyes, finally winning a moment of sober thought away from that intoxicating false-enlightenment. The energy that had been whipping the arena like a hurricane gained a new feel, one of focus, precision, and seemed to be recondensing around Illo's body again. The change over from Iron Phoenix always boosted the power of Illo's wavelength tremendously, that much could not be changed because of the eternal increase his power went through, and it really showed when the mystic got a hold of that raw energy.
His forehead was pouring out light ahead of him now, and combined with the silhouette effect from the dust gave the impression of a humanoid lighthouse standing in the middle of the arena.
He spoke with an ethereal voice, not moving his lips.
I'm sorry. I should have told you before, but I didn't want you to rush the match--I wanted us to have an enjoyable match, but my power is very difficult to control.... Then he said something unexpected.
In order to tap into this energy, I have to try to contain infinity within my mind... That, is not easy.
So, I'm sorry, but we're going to have to finish this now. I can't hold back any longer. Illo shook his head and sighed as his feet slide out with precision into their proper places. The mere act of him doing so sent an eerie looking ripple through the ground, as if a high speed camera had captured someone slapping gelatin.
He teleported a couple feet away from Carmen and started his assault with a back wheel kick to the head/neck area.

Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard Carmen let everything come back into focus as she heard Illo say something about stuff. She looked down at him as he spoke, seeing that his voice came from somewhere else besides his mouth. "Infinity with your mind?" She asked, confused. "Wouldn't that be impossible or something?" She asked. She jerked her head upwards as Illo disappeared and reappeared behind her. She took the kick full to the back of her head sending her soaring downwards and slamming straight into the ground, bouncing once before sliding to a stop. She lay still for a few moments before slowly pushing herself to her knees. "ooh that kick felt like it knocked infinity into my head..." she groaned, wincing as she felt pain shoot through her body like a jolt of electricity. She turned and looked up at Illo from where she sat, holding one hand against the side of her head due to the pain. "That had to be at least equal to one of my 150% damage hits...but he just pulled it off like it was nothing...what the heck happened?" She muttered, sitting back slightly and looking up at him. "Hey, um, just make sure you don't do any kinda irreversible damage to yourself, okay?" She called up to him. Abilities used: Hard - These opponents are very experienced and talented fighters. They are somewhere between graduate level and Death Scythe level in strength. Unless you are a Death Scythe or otherwise extremely strong, your chances of winning one-on-one are possible, but slim. what happened:
Illo
Meanwhile, Illo was drifting back the ground, silent as snowfall, and flexing his hand. He could scarce remember how exhilerating all that power felt rushing through his body. And not just that, his soul was ablaze with energy from the cosmos as well.
One of the drawbacks of the form was the "filter" from thought to speech was AWOL in this state, and so pretty much every thought could be heard echoing through the stadium as Illo mused to himself.
Fascinating... I haven't felt this since... That. This is about--half of where I ended up at?
Illo seemed to be in his own little world. He just stood there, completely open to attack, but didn't appear worried one bit.
Then something occurred to him. In the course of his growing sharpness of perception Illo discovered that with it came a certain unique way of perceiving time. Images, energies, words, from past, present and future came flooding in to the monk's mind. One of the images, he thought it from the past, was particularly interesting to him.
Hmmm...

Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard Carmen slowly got to her feet while Illo was talking to himself, still holding the side of her head. "Whaa...?" She asked aloud as he talked about half of something. "Um...Illo, are you still there?" She asked, taking a step forward. She kept in a defensive stance in case this was some kind of trick, but it looked for all the world like Illo was just standing there leaving himself open. Had he lost it? Did he have a concussion or something?" She slid another few inches forward, her hands raised in preparation to attack or defend. "You umm...know I'm still here, right?" She asked, a serious expression on her face. Abilities used: Hard - These opponents are very experienced and talented fighters. what happened:
Illo
Illo looked over at Carmen with a lax look. Oh, yes, sorry... I was just thinking about the last time I fought with this kind of power. This is about half of that.
Well, he said as he readied his stance. A Wing Chun stance.
Are you ready? Here I come. Illo flew at Carmen and stopped just short of her on the ground. He opened with a low kick to to Carmen's leading foot. The second kick was aimed at her midsection, and he ended by stepping in and down to throw a punch with his weight centered behind, not above, his lead fist. The attacks could be blocked, but they seemed much more precise than before. The punch was especially tricky.

Carmen Laurell Difficulty: Hard "Well you don't have to be all smug about it!" Carmen said as she narrowed her eyes at his seemingly dismissive response. She was ready for Illo's attack on her leading foot as it was what she would have done. She raised her leg quickly to dodge the attack and simultaneously use it to guard against his kick to her torso. "Ow!" She yelled as Illo's kick connected with her leg. His attack was A LOT stronger than before. Despite what Illo had said, Carmen was still completely confused about what was happening. She could tell he'd gotten markedly stronger though; that much was obvious. The punch landed hard catching her straight across the cheek. She spun backwards, counter-moving to keep her balance with surprising grace despite being on one foot. She quickly placed down her other foot to stop her spinning. As soon as she had done so she quickly waved towards him with both hands sending two bright green Fireburst attacks towards him. They snapped and crackled with green light as they rushed towards their target. But that wasn't Carmen's main offensive movement. While they were still coming, Carmen used her Streamer ability to shoot up into the air and then changed direction, quickly using another Streamer to land to the side of Illo. She activated her Empathy Link before sending a kick towards the side of Illo's stomach, aiming at his kidney as she attempted to begin another Daisy Chain. Abilities used: +Enhanced Soul Perception: Carmen's unique form of Soul Perception, something she was born with, allows her not only to see souls but to see the specific emotions someone is experiencing at that point in time. If they're experiencing multiple emotions she can see all of them. +Streamer: Carmen can use her resonance force to quickly accelerate in any direction. When she does so she's surrounded by a stream of bright green energy, protecting her from projectile attacks and hurting anyone who gets too close. It can be used as a ramming attack though that's not its main purpose. It is extremely helpful for dodging or deflecting ranged attacks +Fireburst: Carmen waves her arm in any direction, causing a stream of fiery green energy that explodes like fireworks to trail after it.
