I don't see the similarity to Pen, but it's a great character.

Outside of combat and missions (seems to be her main focus), what would she be doing?
Is she staying at HQ's hotel front (in which case, she'd need a 'day job' role...security is the first to come to mind, though you could always pick out an interest or something unrelated) or is she usually elsewhere (mission briefing would be a little different)?

You will have to forgive me as I am one of the few starting fresh, as far as this main goes, I am as noob as it gets. I am really going to need to actually play the character to see what quirks and interests make her interesting. As far as a hotel job, I think that based on the personality I am going to give her, she would make a great chef, based on her survival skills.
Wow, sorry guys I totally abandoned you. I got a little caught up in life and had assumed the way the guild was slowing down was a sign it wasn't going to pick back up. I would like to get back into it and start posting more frequently though. I need an updated profile right?
In other news, I sort of ran away to SyndronOnline during my absence and became a site artist? I'm going to be designing shop items, so that's cool..

Hey, you're back!
Profiles and stuff: Yeah, finish what you can by Monday. I'll have a thread out around then. Also, when writing your character's entry in the epilogue, I had no idea what would work, so I left it as a fade to black. You can make up whatever for where he ended up in the new 'verse.
Ok, I'll go take a look at the RP and see what to do about it. Re: Syndrone - Thanks! The site kind of had a near-death experience. The original owner passed ownership on to a partner who then stole all the site's money and ran. So now there's a new owner, all new admins and mods, and their old site artist bailed when he saw things going wrong so they held applications for new site artists. :s it's not an official job because the old owner took the LLC with him, but if my art is going to be on the website I can at least put that on my resume.
edit: re:new profile How different should I be making Koji? They won't remember the old 'verse, but will they all still have been a team, or are they coming together when we start the new thread? And do I need to include a day job/how he would be helping around the HQ (was it still going to be a hotel?).

Good lord, Syndrone is such a drama magnet. Shortly after the Easter event I stopped logging in for some reason (because the community there is s**t) but I guess I didn't miss out on anything good. emotion_facepalm
New 'verse: You can make it as different or similar as you like, and this applies to everything about characters. They will have been a team already at the beginning, just like the start of the old main.
If you plan to have him at the HQ front (which is still a hotel) you'd need to figure out how he'd be helpful there. You don't have to put it on the profile (unless you want to) but you do need to have it in mind and occasionally play it outside of missions.
That reminds me, we're going to have to figure out a new map...I'll make a separate thread for that later tonight.

I haven't really spent too much time in any of the general chat forums or anything on Syn. I made a freebie art thread in the easter event and got some people to chat with, then I made an art shop and got a few more people to chat with and then one of them ended up being a new global mod after the drama. So I don't know about the rest of the community but the people I've talked to are pretty cool. It was starting to remind me of when I first joined Gaia.
Ok, I think I'm going to revamp Koji's profile a bit then. I think I remember some mild brainstorming about him being an event coordinator for the hotel. Since it's an alternate universe would it be pushing it too far if his brother never died?
