"This is going to take forever..." She sighed shrugging her shoulders before the monster swung at her head.

She was losing fast which in her world sucked, Kier always felt that she was good in battle but currently she was horribly sucking against the beast. It long tail shipped out and smacked her hard across the cheek as she tried to scratch at it again.

Another long sweep of the beast tail that sent Kier flying across the ground bumping a few times before standing still. It was over, she had lost and with the bitter taste of defeat and dirt in her mouth she slammed her fist into the ground.

To be honest, it was a little strange, being forced to fight their mascots for their next task. But then again, it wasn't like strange was out of the ordinary for their school. Besides, these mascots looked far from ordinary, so where was the harm in fighting one, right?

However, just as he was about to attack the beast again, the chimera's tail struck out. Tybalt, not expecting the snake to attack him, jumped back, only managing to scratch the beast in the process.

Turns out, fighting an opponent with two minds was a little more difficult. Rather than jaws and claws, the black dog had to keep mind of the snake that occasionally showed itself.
