I don't think anything will change, but I want to go on record as saying I'm not happy with the direction Gaia is taking.
Anyway, I'm John. I'm a forum lurker and occasional poster, and I enjoy playing zOMG too.
Can't remember when I joined, but I took a hiatus around the time of the 2009 Gaia Prom and came back April 2012.
Been lurking around ever since.

I have been an active supporter of Gaia for many years, and back before 2011 I was a frequent buyer of Gaia Cash and cash items.
As someone who has been here for nine years, I can officially say it pains me to see what this site has become. And I would love to see it restored to the way it used to be, so I will do anything I can to help. I am glad to see that there are other users who are sad to see what Gaia has become.
I frequent the Site Feedback and Gaia Community Discussion forums, though I do not consider myself a regular of either. I lurk a lot, and I tend to give up on some of the posts I type out because I am shy.

★ My name is Chidori, an '08 member, and yet another Gaian completely unsatisfied with the direction Gaia is headed. The constant sales and strong push for GC is very concerning, and there is no such thing as :casual" on here anymore. I'm very happy to see other people care about our community, so consider me a strong support of how our home should be!

kiockalan Hi my name is Kio. I've been on gaia since the mid 2000s. I have never bought cash because I am a broke a** college kid but I have been slowly building up my account over the years. the ennui has been slowly building too. HoC made me more active on this site than I had been in years but now that thats gone... my list of reasons to stay is getting very short. We are here, do not worry, we are either gonna fix this problem or we'll probably die trying.

Hey, I'm Anja. Been on Gaia since late 'o4 and have been on pretty constantly. I lurk and occasionally post in the GCD and the Books forums. I used to donate occasionally to Gaia, but now I'm so put off that I've stopped spending any cash here. There are other ways I can spend my money where I feel more appreciated as a customer.
Lately I've been frustrated with not only the aggressive and overwhelming push of Gaia Cash, but also the treatment of site features. If things don't make money they end up forgotten or trashed even if they contribute to the overall enjoyment and functioning of the site. Gaia seems to not care about the community anymore. At least not the parts of the community that can't make it shitloads of money.
I still love this site and much of its staff and really don't want to see it fail.

Sadly this isn't a matter we can't just simply Balefire though, isn't it? emo If that were the case, I'd go with a fusion of a Potter-world Avada Kedavra(Killing Curse) and a dot hack-verse Data Drain and see if that works.

I definitely feel you on the treatment of site features. Some of my favourite things about Gaia are laying forgotten because they don't generate revenue. Zomg for example had years of hype behind it and has had absolutely no updates since it's not a big money maker.
