Adrian sighed before he turned his head. "Taking the dog out, dear?" he said with amusement, seeing Lillian in the doorway. He wasn't sure why he chose to use that endearment, but it felt right... and mildly comical to see her jump in surprise.

Lillian's eyes were still droopy as she thought of what she should do. She knew that Roxy wanted and needed to go out to relieve herself, though she did not feel like going down the stairs and she knew that if she was caught taking Roxy into the elevator she'd be grounded. As she pondered what to do she heard Adrian speaking, which nearly startled her to death, causing her to jump. She spun around on her heels and she narrowed her eyes at him saying, "Don't you ever do that again..." her tone wasn't mean or anything, though, just a bit frazzled. She was somewhat confused by his choice of words, though she didn't mention it before saying yes to the question that was asked. She then made mention of whether or not she would be able to stomach going down the stairs or risk taking the dog into the elevator, which was strictly forbidden by both of her parents.

Adrian chuckled softly as he fluidly slid out of the bed, not seeming to notice that his muscles rippled subtly as he moved with a fluid grace that seemed more like that of a dancer... if it didn't have a subtle primal strength to it that tended to draw the eye of the opposite sex. "Don't worry, I'll go with you," he said softly.

Lillian looked in the direction of the elevator and then to the stairs, sighing, not knowing what to do. Although she looked to Adrian as he got up from the bed. She happened to notice the ripple of his muscles as he got out of bed and she raised an eyebrow, a slight grin coming to her lips. Hearing Adrian speaking snapped Lillian from the trance that she was falling into when looking at Adrian. "Huh? Oh yeah. I think we should get going quick before poor Roxy has an accident..." she said as she started reluctantly heading to the stairs, not wanting to risk her parents or one of the maids finding dog hair in the elevator. She thought about what was going to have to be done about Linda's body and she prayed that no one would find it before something was able to be done about it.,Yet there was a high possibility that one of the other maids that came in during the early morning hours might find it before she even made it to the stairs leading downstairs.

Adrian grinned, unaware that his body was now producing potent pheromones. "Then we might as well take care of you beautiful ladies, eh?" he said with amusement as he walked casually towards Lillian. He shifted his weight slightly, his gaze flicking toward the door momentarily.

Lillian had a somewhat stupid grin on her face as she looked at Adrian. She was thinking only of Adrian in that moment and was nearly forgetting why she'd woken up in the first place; that was until Roxy butted her head into Lillian's leg. "Huh? Oh! Roxy, girl. I'll take you out right this minute." she said as she rubbed the husky's head and turning around to go the the elevator. 'Maybe you could hold Roxy while-- uh oh...' she thought to Adrian, but her words were cut short as she noticed someone she was hoping would still be sleeping, her father. "D-Daddy... morning... I, uh was just heading to take Roxy outside..." she said, stammering, knowing full well that her father would know that she'd been heading to take Roxy to the elevator and not only that but the fact that she had been standing right outside of the guest room and clearly still trying to wake up fully. It was clear that her father was assuming that his one and only daughter had spent the night in the room of a guy, which he was right about. "If you were in there with him I swear you're grounded for a month." he said, his tone not aggressive, but he was not playing around. Lillian tilted her head some and thought that her father was going to throw Adrian out or something if she admitted to actually staying in his room. "I'll take the grounding, please don't throw Adrian out... It was my fault... I was up late talking to him and I fell asleep in there... I really didn't mean to and it truly wasn't his fault." she said, hoping that her words would soften her father's temper, which she knew was probably going to boil over. "I haven't got time to discuss this this morning, but once I get home from work you, your little friend and I are all having a nice, long talk." he said as he headed for the stairs. Lillian's eyes went wide at this and she shuffled over to her father saying, "Why not use the elevator? You probably are still half asleep and I know that walking down stairs when you're tired might not be the best idea." She knew her words probably sounded stupid, though she knew that she had to do something about the body of Linda before anyone else saw it. She suddenly gave a quick thought to Adrian about talking to her father and trying to distract him while she tried doing something with Linda, though a secondary thought she gave was that he could try doing something and she keep distracting her father. She wasn't sure how she'd explain why she was holding her father up, though she knew that she had to try because she did not want him to find out what happened to Linda, not yet anyhow. However, what she didn't know was the man that had killed Linda had come while everyone was asleep and removed Linda, yet little Pogo was sitting happily on the cherry-wood chair where Linda had been sitting on, cleaning his face with a tiny forepaw.

Adrian rolled his eyes at the man's assumptions. "What, you think we were in the same bed together? Please, I may be fond of your daughter, but do you really think I'd be stupid enough on the second night of being here that I'd try something with her? Even I'm not that stupid, and socially, a cell phone is smarter than me," he said with a deadpan, sighing. He carefully didn't tell her father that he was very attracted to Lillian and she was to him, though he could focus and sense through the air that Linda's body wasn't where it had been before. "Besides, I'm used to sleeping on cold hard floors... you try sleeping in a cavern with a small campfire in the middle of winter and see how comfortable sleeping can get," he grumbled, not meaning to refer to his actual 'home' so blatantly though he wasn't sure if the man would realize what he meant.

Lillian looked to Adrian as she heard him speaking and she turned to Roxy as she heard the dog whimpering. "Daddy, I swear to you nothing happened and if you want to ground me then so be it. Although, that grounding won't last that long and you know it. You don't have the heart to ground me for a whole month and not let me off. And if anything would have happened I guarantee that Adrian would not have instigated anything." She said as she grabbed Roxy's collar and stomped off down the stairs. She did, however, catch the fact that Adrian had made mention of sleeping on cold, hard floors and something about a campfire. She didn't know what was going to be said, though she didn't want to stick around to find out and make poor Roxy suffer and possibly have an accident. As she rounded the corner at the bottom of the stairs she saw the chair was empty, all but the small orange cat that she knew was called Pogo. "Get out of here you little hairy demon." she hissed at the cat and shooed it off the chair, right out the back door. Roxy growled at the cat before heading outside and doing her business as if marking her territory in the yard. Lillian looked around at the chair and it looked as if nothing had ever happened the night before, though if she'd been dreaming she knew that she'd not have fallen asleep in Adrian's room, well she might have. 'She's gone... Linda... She's just gone... I mean that did happen... right? Or was I dreaming that whole horrid thing?' she thought to Adrian in an unsure way.

Adrian took a deep breath as he walked away from her father who was sneering at his back as if he wasn't worth the trouble of keeping around. "You should know that there are worse things than her being around me, of that you can be certain. With me, she is protected," he said flatly. "I wish it was a dream, but it wasn't. I don't know what follows death, but she is in a better place, even if how she died was a way that was just wrong for anyone, regardless of how bitchy they were," he murmured.

Lillian stood against the kitchen counter and she thought about making something for breakfast for everyone, well at least Adrian and herself. She knew that she was too angry with her father right then to do anything kind for him. Sure, this was only a little spat, though she hated how her father never trusted any men around her. As she heard Adrian's voice in her mind a tear streamed from her eye and crept its way down her face. 'I just wish that someone could have done something to help her... Yeah, she wasn't nice to me, not as much as she could have been, though I think that it was because she'd slipped up and told me how she lost her family and that my family kind of reminded her of her's. That and the way that she treated people was just her way of showing that she cared... She was rude yes, but she did care about me and my parents. Almost as if they were her family.' Lillian gave in reply to Adrian as she started making French Toast and cinnamon rolls for breakfast. 'I hope you're hungry because I'm making up some breakfast. I can only make sweet things, so if French Toast and cinnamon rolls aren't something you want for breakfast then you'll have to get one of the maids to make something for you.' she thought to Adrian in a teasing manner.
Upstairs Mr. Stacey just glared at Adrian, yet he knew that he had to get ready for work. "I guess that I'll believe you, though if I find out anything happens between you two then you're out. And don't think that I am going to fall for that guilt trip. Like you seriously believe that I am going to think that you really live in some sort of cave or whatever," he said, rolling his eyes, not believing a word. "Oh, if I find out there's any funny business going on between you two I'll be sure that you'll never see my daughter again." and with that he headed to get ready for work.

Adrian tilted his head, glancing back at the man. "You'd be surprised how screwed up life can be sometimes," he said quietly, well aware the man wasn't listening as he walked towards the kitchen. "I don't mind, though it does give me an idea for something else that your father certainly wouldn't approve of," he murmured, teasing her as he could think of another use for syrup... and not necessarily for French Toast.

Lillian had a few pieces of French Toast already cooking as she got to work on the cinnamon rolls. She knew that she had to focus on both things evenly or something would burn, but most of the time she was pretty good at doing two things at once in the kitchen and that most of the time nothing burned; not the sweet stuff at least. 'That's good... what exactly are you thinking?' she thought as a grin came to her face after hearing the teasing tone Adrian had used. 'Oh, I have stuff to make pancakes and I have some whipped cream, too.' she added, her grin growing, thinking that she might have an idea of what Adrian may have been thinking; however, she knew that she could have been thinking a bit too far.

Adrian hummed in his mind as if thinking before a grin flashed over his face before he heard a low sigh as he noticed Lillian's mother. "Let's just say it involves very little clothing... unless you know a way to make clothes out of pancakes," he murmured jokingly. The fact she knew where some whipped cream was gave him some rather... naughty ideas. "Hmmm, maybe we can bathe in the stream.. then eat fruit off of each other," he murmured, half forgetting about the telepathic connection as he knew where quite a few berry bushes and fruit trees were around the cavern. He glanced at the calendar as he passed it, noting the phrase 'Teacher Workday' on today's date.

Lillian appeared to be focusing fully on the food that she was making, but she was actually paying more attention to Adrian as she listened to him. Her face turned cherry red as she heard Adrian saying about making clothes from pancakes. 'I could try, though that probably wouldn't turn out right.' she thought, slightly wondering where she was seriously going to let her mind go wandering to. As she grinned to herself she noticed that her mother was coming into the kitchen and she waved to her, but she returned her attention to the food, yet dropped the spatula as she heard the after thought that Adrian had. 'Do what now?! Now I know that Father would disapprove of that. Although I might be nice enough to let that happen, since it's not going to hurt anything.' she thought in a flirty sort of way, her thoughts not where they should be. She leaned down to get the spatula and when she stood up she saw her mother looking at her with a strange expression and put her hand to her daughter's forehead. "Are you all right dear? Your face is a deep scarlet color and your forehead is a bit warm." Rosaline said to her daughter, yet got an "I'm all right Mother." as well as an eye roll from Lillian and she went on her way, shaking her head and mentally telling herself that something had to be up with Lillian.

Adrian leaned against the wall, seeing Rosaline's reaction to his teasing of Lillian. A faint smirk flickered at the corners of his mouth, giving away his amusement. A low chuckle escaped him as Rosaline walked towards the counter. He looked mildly amused as he shifted his weight. "Hey, I could have said 'I want to lick syrup and whipped cream off of your body' just as easily," he teased.
