"But..." she began, unable to speak through the tears. He had died trying to save her, something he didn't have to do. He wanted to do it, she would understand but she still wouldn't understand why. He had moved on, found someone and something else to care about when she had been stuck in one place holding onto things that were lost and changed. She was useless, so useless. She had no power to do anything.
It made her a little angry at herself, but she couldn't find it in herself to do anything. Just cry as the woman with the beautiful blonde hair pulled her close. She wanted to sob, like she had done when she had finally found Molan earlier but she just wept. "There isn't anywhere safe..." she replied.
And then, Olivia felt a great pain in her shoulder. Piercing but thankfully not in a vital location. She gasped, her tearful blue eyes turning to see what it was. An arrow? "Aa..."

Mitsu had been standing back this entire time but maybe that had been a bad idea. The battle was not her place, it had never been her place, she was supposed to be a nurse. Someone that helped people. But what good was she when she couldn't help people now?
Her call to action came a little late as Shun soon fell his body vanishing before her eyes. Mitsu rose a hand toward him his name leaving her lips in a hushed whisper. He was....gone. What would become of him now?
Eyes turning upward as a voice entered her mind, her eyes settled on the purple creature before her. She blamed her? Maybe she should. "Everything will end soon." Mitsu said softly. "Then there will be no one left to blame." She was just in a downward spiral.

Riley would suddenly find her face soaking wet as a vial of holy water was thrown into her face. Regardless of what the water did, if it burned Riley and the unpure beast lurking in her soul, or simply caused her to be silghtly refreshed and cooled by its crystal clear presence she quickly found that it was not pleasing to have a monk suddenly cut through the crowd and sucker punch you in the gut open palm style.

The heat of battle had him lost without his new friend. She'd disappeared, as had her pursuers, and Bastion felt a little flustered. He kept hearing screams and explosions as body after body fell - but somehow, he remained unscathed. It was almost.. unnerving.
He caught sight of the king, and his court, but nothing looked the way it should. In fact, everything looked like it was going to hell. So he rushed on over, because hell was exactly where he was headed.

Mjoll's eyes flared when the arrow struck Olivia. She turned her head towards the source of the arrow. "LAN. What the hell do you think you're doing!?" The crafter stared at one of her own.
She wasn't going to stand for this, "Can't you see she was obviously Molan's friend." She pulled the little duck behind her as she marched toward Lan aiming to strike the Bishop. Attack someone that was clearly upset over a death of one of their court members was apparently going a little too far. Or maybe Mjoll was suicidal. However she couldn't help herself, she already had her heart stepped on Olivia didn't need to be stepped on too.
"If that was me crying over someone would you step on me too?" She was doing her best to keep Olivia behind her, to make herself the target. "I thought you had pride in our kingdom."

"Tha' does et!" Blake growled, eyes glowing brighter with his anger as he whirled around. "Who wants some?!" Nodding a greeting at his fellow Green Kingdom imagineer, he jabbed his staff into the ground and seemed to... fall apart, the shards of his body swarming around before making a beeline for Gene. With a bang, he took himself out as well. Well shi- He thought, as he faded to black. As one Shardmind's life ends, another begins... or so they say.

She rolled her eyes at Mjoll. "I am doing what is necessary. The enemy is to be destroyed." Gold eyes glared down, she would play the part of a liar, just as she was taught to be. "Did you miss where the silver King came and attacked his highness? Or do you seek to align with those who would just as soon as see us dead?" Her voice was cold, the only emotion determination.
"The death of those who were our allies is a loss, but to guard the enemy makes you a traitor. This is war." She frowned. "Step aside, or face the consequences. She is not an ally. Or are you an enemy?" The bow was strung, and with any hit of remorse, she fired.

Sepheran had let the girl go with the other who seemed to know each other. He figured they would make it out of the fray of slaughter, that she might be safer away...but he was wrong and he regretted his choice with every fiber of his being.
