Kiera eventually stopped rolling, and sat up. At which point she had grass all stuck in her hair and her hair was all over her face. "I could talk to him."

*Shortstraw shied.* "I don't see that helpiing much but good luck." He nodded, "i'm afrade i have no idea what is the best idea here for either of them. I just don't want to loose you, asher, or our new home. As long as we don't loose any of that... anything will work." He shied.

*Suddenly a head poped out from uptop the tree. A girlw ith black hair and lips. She smiled as she looked down to shortstraw. "hiya shortstraw." She replied happily. She then looked to him, "you look sad. Whats wrong." She then noticed a diffrent person there next to him with wild looking grassy hair. "Oh hello. Are you frineds with shortstraw too?" She was ablivious to it all.*

*Shortstraw looked tot he girl* "Why are you in a tree? And also, this is my girlfreinds, Keria." He replied. However he shied, "we sorta can't talk right now though... we have alot of problems at home that werer trying to figure out."

She lifted her hair from her face and looked to him. "The demon overlord, i mean." Kiera began to pick all the grass off her hair and out of her clothes. "I may be able to get something out of a little chat with him. You can't come with me, though." When she thought she got all the grass out, she yawned, and looked to this new girl. She knew Shortstraw? She didn't want to talk to this girl, not when they were having this kind of conversation. "Hey." She simply said, before lying back in the grass again.

*Soflora nodded* "Well you see i was out adventuring around the town and then the sun came up and i had no where else to hide. Right now the clouds make it easyer, but i basicly feel sleep in this tree up till i smelt you." She giggled, "I just hope it doesn't rain..." she made a worried face up at the sky, "Water realy badly hurts me." She shrugged, "What kindof problems. Maybe i can help, i would like to help my first freind." SHe nodded.

*Shortstraw looked to her, "Just some stuff. No need to worry about it." He nodded, "Though towns not far away, you should have gone alittle further before hiding in a tree. Trees get wet you know... and the sun somtimes gets through them." He shrugged then looked to keria, "How could you possably go talk to him without dieing first?"

Kiera shrugged, she had a plan, but wasn't going to tell him. "I have my ways." She put her arms over her eyes, and yawned again. She didn't really acknowledge the other girl too much. She was annoying already. She hoped she wouldn't have to see her too often. She hoped that she wouldn't follow Shortstraw around, now that would get too annoying.

*the girl shrugged* "Okay if your sure shortstraw. However i had no idea. I never hid in a tree before. More or less did i know where i was going. I didn't even know where i was flying, or where town was." She giggled and hid back into the tree, "well the suns blocked for the moment, i better be quick. See you later shortstraw." She giggled again and dropped from the tree turning into a little bat with large blue eyes as she fluttered away toword town as fast as she could go befor eht sun came out, or it rained.*

*Shortstraw watched Soflora leave then nodded and looked to Keria. "Have your ways huh. Fine fine." He leaned and stole a kiss, "you go talk and i'll go home and babysit." He stood up and smiled, "good luck."*

She sneered. "I don't need luck. I'm Kiera~" And with that, she evaporated into the air.
She was in the demon realm, next. She was let in, for a number of reasons. It was only open for the split second she teleported anyway. If the demon overlord hadn't left the door open for her, god knows where she would have ended up. But she found herself in a crowd of demons, with their ugly faces. She had to shove her way through them to get a hearing with the demon overlord. But before long there was an uproar about a mortal being in the demon realm anyway. She was more thrown and shoved in front of the demon lord rather than directed. The demon lord was where he was, sitting on his throne in the black expanse. Kiera was reduced to her knees from the shoving, then the demons recoiled when the demon overlord raised a bony hand. "What occasion is this that the Phoenix princess presents herself?"

*Shortstraw shied and headed back to the cabin, where he hesitated but then walked in, expecting the place to be torn apart inside, or there bing fighting, or a missing Asher... somthing. He didn't even know what move to make next.*

As a matter of fact. They were all in the living room sitting on the floor. Asher and Cyril were playing chess, and Nina sat beside them, cheering either of them on when either side was winning. Asher's ear twitched when Shortstraw walked in. "We're in the living room." She shouted, before putting the game into check. "HAH. LETS SEE YOU GET OUT OF THIS ONE." Cyril didn't think about it for long and skillfully moved his king out of check and took Asher's queen. Cyril laughed at the expression Asher made. "CYIRY CYIRY!" Nina chanted. From the other room this might have sounded weird.
Kiera picked herself up, scowled at the other demons, then turned to the demon overlord. "I want to talk." He leaned forward. "Oh? What about?" She pulled a face. "You already know, otherwise you wouldn't have let me in here." The demon lord sighed, and leaned back in his throne, suddenly disinterested. "Asher spoke highly of you." Kiera sneered. "Naturally." He frowned. "You don't seem like much." She shrugged. "Everyone has their opinions." He stared her down. "How are you enjoying your new house guest?" Kiera laughed to contain her annoyance. "Which one?"

*Shortstraw hurryed into the living room and froze. They were playing chess... really? Out of all he expected to see... this wasn't it. Infact he scrached his head, "Well i guess this isn't as bad as i expected. And also were stuck here till keria comes back from a little mission of ours. So Rule one, no one leaves rule two, eh screw it with the rules. You get the idea." He sat down to watch them on the couch. "So whos got the advantage" he asked with a smerk.*

Asher was still in the set of shock. How did she not see that move coming? Cyril was just sitting there with his arms crossed, waiting for Asher to move next. "Somehow, i'm winning." Asher glared at him. "You're cheating, i swear." Cyril shrugged. "No need ta' cheat when ya' got skill~" Asher's head sunk lower and she grumbled as she tried to think of her next move. Asher had barely any pieces left, and Cyril still had his king and queen. This was going badly. "I should be winning this. My intellect is higher than yours." Cyril sneered. "Apparently not."
The demon overlord looked surprised. "Oh? Someone else is also trying to annoy you?" Kiera nodded. "I have a lot of enemies." He bellowed a laugh. "Royalty usually does." She clenched her hand. "No more of this small talk. I need to talk to you about Cyril." He sighed. "What, then?" She tilted her head. "What exactly was your aim, sending him there?" "To annoy you, of course." She shook her head. "Why not Shortstraw? He was the one who took Asher from you." The demon lord licked his teeth. "Because we have something more special planned for him."
