 Icarus sighed and scratched his head, he flipped his mask back down and then chuckled. "Uhm not really, barely anyone ever tried and when they did...well let's just say they had a doctors appointment the next day." He looked to Jay and then took a deep breath, slowly he climbed a statue and then jumped towards his partner morphing into the full chain-sword "Catch!" He would have to see if Jay could handle him.

Jay reacted as soon as Icarus uttered the word 'Catch', spinning 360 degrees before catching the chainsword in one hand and holding it with ease. 'Well, guess that weight pulls helped...' he muttered, barely breaking a sweat as he swung the sword, chopping a thin tree in half. Vertically. 'You know, I have an idea about giant chainswords,' Jay said as he waited for Icarus to turn back, 'You could use them as a ram, or a means of transport.'

Icarus pushed all of his weight towards the front of the blade tipping it out of his hands and then transforming into his human shape, but sitting on the ground. "And how do you think that will work? I mean I doubt you'd wanna just slap a saddle on me when the blade starts spinning." As if to prove his point he transformed his hand into the chainsaw blade and spun it and then slammed it into the ground, making it dig up a rut in the ground.

   Ushi walked out the doors of the school and sat down on the top steps. "how did i get into a world like this...." Ushi whispered to herself, as she looked around at all the chaos that was going down in the center of Death City. Ushi let out a sigh as she sat there thinking to herself. "maybe Lin was right maybe i should act more like a kid then as the adult of the two... but if i did that who'd take care of her...." Ushi asked herself.
Ushi held out her arm with her hand laying flate in the air, as she held it there her hand changed into the top of her battle Ax form. "mom, dad i hope your doing okay..." Ushi said with a small sad smile on her lips. "I am the daughter of the great family of Zhou and i have the only partner i need who is also a member of that family... no matter what her parents say..." Ushi stated out loud not caring who heard her.
As Ushi's hand changed back, she laid back looking at the demon bst covered sky and sighed. "If there's a way to stop this madness please let me know..." Ushi said as she laid there.
As Ushi laid there a dark figure appeared out of the shadows with sharp red eyes, and a grin that looked like that of a beast. "you want to stop this chaos yet you doubt your own strength, how dose that work little one?..." A voice said from the figure as a pair of gaint wings appeared from it's back.
Ushi jumped up as the figure appeared, at the same time changing her hand back into the Ax."Who are you?" Ushi demanded as she toke a stance. The dark figure waved it's hand up and down. " Calm down, little one.. i'm here to help you to see how strong you really are." The dark figure said as it held up a pure human soul. "I want you to fight one of my ghouls, their not easy to beat but if you can manage then it will prove that your not weak.." The dark figure said as a ghost of a teenage girl appeared in front of it. "Please help me.." The girl pleaded before she started screaming in pain as the dark figure started crushing the soul. "HEY STOP YOUR HURTING HER!!!" Ushi screamed as she stood there watching. before long the girl vanished as a black sluge started raising from the spot the the girl was at.
Ushi stood there moratfied about what she had just seen not seeing the slug raising infront of her. "You should be more focused on what's in front of you then what just happen.." The dark figure said as the slug toke it's form. Ushi looked even more horrified at what she was looking at then what had happen. "W-what is that thing..." Ushi asked as she stepped back before falling down. "I told you it's my ghoul." The dark figure said. Ushi looked at the corpse like fiend that stood there in front of her. "It's not even remotely human anymore is she.." Ushi asked as she moved away from it. "Well I guess in a way no she's not, but that still doesn't change the fact you need to slay it, it's it your job to help these pour souls from a fiat like this?" The dark figure said with a slight laugh.
Ushi stood up and looked at the two shaking her head. "Your a monster!" Ushi shouted as she got back in her stance. The dark figured smiled. "That might be but at least i know my place in this world." The figure said sarcastically, before stepping out from the shadows. A woman in a black fluffy dress stood there looking at Ushi. Ushi just stood there out of anger. the woman just sighed. "so are you going to kill it or are you just going to stand there all day?" She asked as she stood there waiting. Ushi sighed as the Ghoul charged at her. "Fine.." Ushi said bluntly as she ran at the Ghoul.
Ushi jumped over it and slashed at it from behind only to see it heal insanely fast. "W-what the!?" Ushi said as she got pelted with a fast but strong back hand from the Ghoul. Ushi slide across the ground before coming to a complete stop from hitting the wall of the school. "GAAA!!!" Ushi yelped as she laid there in pain. The woman walked over to Ushi and kneel down enough to look Ushi in the eyes. "What's wrong? is that all you got.." She asked before stand straight up and stepping away. Ushi stood up holding her arm that she slid on with a pained look on her face. "N-no... i-i can keep fighting..." Ushi said as she charged at the Ghoul again. Ushi used what little strength she did have to jump above the ghoul and slash from above straight down to the ground.
It seemed as though Ushi had killed it as she land on one knee behind it again, as she started to stand up the Ghoul attacked again. Ushi just bearly dodged the attack, but get her side cut while doing so. "Aaaah!" Ushi yelped as she slid on both feet across the ground a little. Ushi looked up at the Ghoul while holding her side in pain. "Not bad, i knew you weren't weak like you were saying." The woman said clapping a little. Ushi just spit away from her as she stepped towards the fiend ready to attack again. "Oh my your still going to fight, good for you." The woman said. Ushi grabbed the ghouls arm as it swung at her again, just bearly stopping it from hitting her before she slashed at it's head, sending it flying. "Let's see you fight after that.." Ushi said as she stumbled back away from the Ghoul as it fell to the ground turning into dust. The woman was clapping slightly harder then before. "Good good, I knew you could win.." The woman said happily with a kind smile on her face. Ushi looked at her and groaned.
Ushi started to walk over to the woman but stopped five feet away from her. "Who are you.." Ushi asked. the woman just smiled before stepping back into the shadows. "a friend slash foe." She said before disappearing. Ushi just sighed as she fell to her knees in pain. "Dame..." Was all Ushi said as she stayed there. Ushi vision started to dark from the pain as she fell over onto the ground, and passing out.

Jay laughed, actually imagining it. 'Naaah, as in ride the handle.' He heard a girl scream, suddenly turning serious and telling Icarus, 'Sounds like someone's hurt. I go forth, to investigate!' running off in the general direction.

 Lin stumbled through the doors and saw Ushi on the ground. Instantly, all her pain dissolved as she went into a hyper protective state. “USHI!” She ran over and knelt down, grabbing Ushi’s arm and putting her own arm around her cousin’s waist. “Oh god. Ushi, are you ok? We’re getting you inside. You need to be looked at.” Then she saw the blood coating her shirt, hefted Ushi up, and ran back to the Nurse's Office.

Jay ran around the corner to find a girl bringing another girl to the school. 'Huh...' he sighed, before running back over to Icarus and saying, 'So, to the Training Field? I hear there's dummies...?'

 Aka stood at the front of the school for a moment before sighing "well here we go" she claimed the steps, "maybe I'll meet a meister here." Specking to herself as she walked, the thought of a meister excited her. She hadn't had a meister since her brother Tommy had passed on.

Jay sighed, waiting for Icarus to answer. (You wanna do the tournament thing? Might be a bit rushed, but a good way for them to bond, perhaps...? =p)

 Celine walked up the steps to the school with her books in her arms. She had been here for a year now yet she was always nervous coming back. She opened the door and stepped inside, looking around at all the people she had never seen before. She needed a weapon though, a year at the school and she still had no weapon. She thought it was sad that someone would be there for so long without a partner.

Icarus looked at him and then nodded. 'Yeah let's go hit the dummies, it would probably get me used to being handled." He chuckled and then reached back and scratched his head. "So...uh...where exactly is the training field?" He felt dumb but he also knew that it was a reasonable question since he was new. (sorry i haven't replied had family stuff and school.)

Jay walked off in what he figured was the general direction, saying, 'No sweat, my sense of direction is perfect,' and adding after a pause, 'Which is to say, I'm guessing.' Cackling, he ran off to the field. He knew stuff like 1, 2, and ... ... ... Poof! (Referendo to a game thar. =P Also, no worries. Also again, wanna try the tournament?)

Icarus sighed and then followed they would find it eventually. "Nothin but trial and error." [uhm, I don't know, I don't check gaia alot through the day, I do it about once when i get home and once before dinner. any way shall we take this over to the training grounds?]

Kuro yawned stretching, as she walked up the steps stopping on the platform admiring the academy. "I wonder what there is to do here'' the female talked to herself as she started walking again, tripping over thin air Kuro fell face first onto stone platform busting her nose.
