Vincent glanced up at the girl who had spoken, the girl with short silver white hair. It looked like that not all of the students here were complete idiots, since that girl sounded somewhat intelligent then there was this total air head with reddish brown hair and glasses. That remark of hers was totally idiotic and it made Vincent label her as the idiot. He sighed before looking up at the teacher.

"Yes, may we work on the rockets on our own? I don't want anyone holding me back," Vincent stated although what he really wanted to say was: "I want to work by myself because everyone else here are idiots."
Of course, it would be bad for him to blatantly say this aloud. He wouldn't want to make enemies so soon, although it wasn't like he cared. Vincent laid his head back down and had pretty much fallen asleep since the teacher took too long to reply.

He had just gotten to sleep when Vincent was flicked in the forehead by the teacher. An annoyed grunt as he sat up to look at the teacher.

"I would, but everything else would be below what I'm capable of," Vincent replied bluntly. "There are already many useless objects in here anyways," he added, referring to the other (stupid) students.

"Perhaps we should just strap the useless objects in the class to a rocket and attempt to send them to the moon," Angela said, giving the Somnambulist a scathing look. "Like the useless objects sprawling about in everyone's way because they were apparently up all night contemplating their own brilliance and possibly choking on their own arrogance." Those students who acted as if they were better than everyone else and the school was a waste of time, really irritated her. Just because you were more advanced than the rest of the class, didn't mean you looked down on them so rudely.

Granted, the last experiment had amused her, and granted she teased the professor about it. But at least she'd participated and helped the others. Geez. And people thought she had a bad attitude. Silveril should just let the boy sleep. If he tried to lift his head, his neck would probably just snap under the weight of the huge ego.

As she pulled out her sketch book to start working up a design for her rocket she looked over at Reilynn who seemed...a little silly. But no more than half the student body. "I wonder what sort of tea would go with moon biscuits." She waved when Eros came in. "Hello Eros--it's been a while. How are you. Um..glad to see that bruise I gave you finally healed up," she said sheepishly.

Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed,

"Oh? Well, maybe a certain somebody should get off their high horse and quit acting like an annoying self righteous.... well, I'll keep that comment to myself," Vincent replied with a sneer.

He was about to go back to sleep when the airhead spoke up. He looked at her with a blank expression before laughing all of a sudden. That girl, was so idiotic, and stupid that it was funny. Vincent laughed until it hurt, and it was strange for him to laugh, because it had been such a long time. He had not smiled, let alone laugh for a long time. After Vincent had stopped laughing, his expression became solemn and he seemed to be in deep thought about something...

"The moon is just a bunch of rocks. If you are so set on tasting the moon, just go outside and eat the dirt," Vincent stated then laid his head back down on his desk.

Silveril Volce

Silveril was surprised when both Angela and Reilynn came to his defense. Actually, he wasn't. After all, the boy was kind of insulting them which probably triggered their need to speak. Of course, Silveril made a note that he would have to find a way to calm Reilynn down. She was far too bouncy and Silveril worried that people will be getting hurt in this class and it will no longer be just his fifth hour being the accident prone class.

"They still have much room for improvement and will definitely grow and learn. A student who feels that he knows everything is a lost cause and there is certainly no room for improvement. I do believe that there is a P.E. class in this period. No matter what species, constant exercise is good for your health. That will probably be more suitable for you than this class." Silveril said sternly. Now then, the boy could sleep if he wanted. Perhaps Silveril will arm Reilynn with permanent marker so she could do physics calculations on his face.

He turned his attention to Eros. "I don't mind if you join us. Hopefully it is okay with your teacher?" Silveril said to Eros. "You're free to work with anyone willing to work with you or you can make one on your own." Silveril frowned. No those were not the rockets that they were making. Well, let them be...

He frowned at Reilynn. Stubborn. "I concede then. If you ever get a chance to taste the moon, you're welcome to tell me about it." Silveril said with an amused smile.

Vincent ignored all their remarks and thought about whether he should do the rocket or not. It wouldn't be good for his grade if he blew it off but it was a complete waste of time since they would not be learning anything; anything that was relevant at least. Perhaps he should try making something different from everyone else. Well, he would probably end up doing the project anyways on his own time. He just didn't feel like putting forth the effort of finishing it now.

The same could be said about the other students because their conversation illustrated that they didn't really care about this class either. They were either too preoccupied about food or eating the moon. They were like hungry pigs. Vincent knew better than to call a girl fat or pigs, since that was just something you didn't tell a girl. Even Vincent, knew to be more delicate around that subject and he was a person who bluntly told others the truth.

Vincent's shoulders seemed to slump slightly as he laid there with his head on his desk. School was so boring; it was always the same old routine. The class is too easy, him not knowing how to keep his mouth shut, and everyone hating him in the end. The routine was beginning to get old; maybe he would try being nicer for a change? It was a new school... nah that would be even worse because he would be lying to himself. Vincent grinned to himself then drifted in and out of sleep.

Susan Chang


Susan looked up to see a friendly face smiling at her, she was asking if Susan wanted to join her in making rockets.
"Oh, hello.. My name is Susan, nice to meet you. Honestly, I dont know if I am in the right class room, or even the right class, I signed up for Physics, but I dont know if this is the right period for me to be in Physics." she said and blushed.

Susan took a look around the class, everyone was in the middle of making rocket models. She recognised some people from the feild trip and the lantern festival.

((Haha. Any reasonable real life female with good judgement? Guys like that don't get more than an eye roll from me. And I only like writing verbal fireworks--not actually participating. XDD Guys like Vincent are fun on paper, but annoying in real life! LoL ))
