"I have three others in my bag." he said, nodding his head. "I can sense them on occasion, and I can't just leave them there.." he said, glancing at her. "Do...you want one?"

Aaron looked at her and smiled. Then he pulled out a stone from his bag, and gently placed it in her hands. "My gift to you. Minor dragons can be hatched by anyone, not just a dragon tamer. Dragon Tamers can sense the eggs, that's all."

"W-well...are you sure? I mean... it is yours..." said Javonne, blushing a little as she looked at the egg that he gave her.

The egg he handed her looked like any ordinary stone; grey, hard, and otherwise uninteresting. Aaron smiled and gently put his hand over hers. "Take it. I have plenty of little dragons right now."

He smiled more, and gently squeezed her hand before releasing it to hold his quivering egg. A small crack appeared at the top of the stone, and some of the shell popped off.

Dory crossed her arms over her chest. "Well, are we gonna go after them?" she asked Raolf, raising an eyebrow. "Or just dawdle here?"

"Ohh..." gasped Javonne, leaning over to see the egg hatch with him. "This is exciting. I haven't seen a dragon hatch before..."

Suddenly, as though it was bursting through, the egg shattered, and crumbled down into Aaron's lap and onto the grass. Out of it, rolled a tiny dragon with green leathery skin, with touches of brown scales. It blinked lazily at Javonne, then looked up at Aaron, locking eyes with him. Aaron returned the gaze with a serious look, then smiled. "Rangr, then." he said quietly. "Welcome."

Aaron looked up at her and smiled. "Minor dragons are born with names. They already know what it is, and they tell their owner upon hatching." he said. "What an interesting talent, though. You're a tracking dragon. That'll come in handy."

"Oh... I did not know that..." said Javonne, glancing away with a faint blush. "So they all have their own talents too?"

"Yeah. Depending on what color their scales are." he said, as he reached down and rubbed the little dragon under his chin. Rangr stretched out his neck and made a soft purring sound, rolling onto his back to get his belly scratched.

Dory then frowned at the unresponsive actions of the kitsune, and grabbed him by his arm and started to drag him away. "Come on you dolt."
