Reaper just sat silently in his seat. The girl wasn't aware that he was in the room, and he wasn't about to change that just yet. Even if he did offer to help, she wouldn't let him touch her.

"No... I didn't have emotions before, so now that I have them, I try my best not to lose them, by expressing them. If I want to yell at someone... like Blake, or cry to someone like Robin I will. Well, I try to be nice about things, mature but what can I do... I am me. Human...."
Kai started nodding off already, she was only up for no more than a minute. It was the fever that was taking her back down. Dundee would have been able to tell from her voice that she was already getting tired again. She closed her eyes for a moment her head started to sink a little before she opened her eyes perked up a little trying to feign sleep despite that it would help her heal quicker. She didn't want her fever to cause her to have anymore ridiculous dreams that she's already told herself that she doesn't want anymore.

Reaper let out a soft chuckle. "Well....at the risk of being yelled at, I would suggest you do try and get some sleep. Can't be good for anyone if you exhaust yourself."

Luke didn't say anything, just kept Alex's hand in his. However, he was having trouble suppressing the urge to grip her in a hug and start hopping around.

Alex smiled slightly and glanced over at Luke. She could tell that he was....overly excited and trying not to be. It was.....cute. At least he wasn't stuttering. Or fainting. And at least she hadn't upset him again.
"So...um...should we head out?" she asked.

"Sure!" Luke said happily, before letting go of her hand and bounding like a kid over to the door... and then holding it for Alex like a gentleman in a suddenly calm and collected manner.

Alex chuckled, and glanced over at Sapphire for a moment. "So...we'll try to be back soon." she said, then looked over at CJ. "Take care of her, will you?" she asked, then turned and headed towards Lucas. Smiling.

Luke grinned in return to Alex and followed her out the door, looking at the rest of the Manor with an air of familiarity; his home in Springdale was similar to this.
"My house looks like this; not quite the same, but close enough," he said happily.

"Really," Luke said. "A little less carpet and a little more polished wood flooring, though," he said. "It was pretty much impossible to be sneaky in my house unless I was wearing socks; do you have any idea how many times I reenacted that one scene from Risky Business? The one where Tom Cruise slides across the floor in his socks and underwear while 'Old Time Rock and Roll' by Bob Seger is playing? A lot!" Luke continued with a wide grin on his face.

Luke grinned. "Yeah. One time my mother caught me doing it when I was like, 12. She couldn't stop laughing, I swear. My dad on the other hand, wasn't amused at all. He said Tom Cruise was a two-bit hack and a bad role model, and that I should look up to a guy like Gregory Peck. He let me watch To Kill a Mockingbird-- Peck's portrayal of Atticus Finch has stayed with me for my whole life. I want to be like him when I have a kid," he said as they left the Manor and stepped out onto the grounds.

"Huh. Can't say that I've seen that." Alex replied. "Then again...if it isn't horror or made by Quentin Tarantino, then I probably haven't watched it." she admitted. "All I used to watch. Gotten a little better about watching other stuff after I joined the others."
