True enough. Plus even getting an eyelash in there kills sometimes.
I have to dress up for a parade tomorrow.
I was told about it the day before yesterday.
I'm just glad there was a dry cleaners that worked overnight.

Yes.
I didn't have a command badge even, but luckily I'm one of two new people who were completely bare of adornment on our fancy clothes wink
I even managed to skip out early, cause on of the lab people did as well.
Which was just as good because even though my work kind of has mandatory mess day on Friday almost no one from my unit showed up! SO I was at a loss at first but then I saw one person I knew, and I met another person I had been speaking to on the phone all week. And then I had an artillery guy I met last week (too old for me dun even go there) come over and I hung out with his friends for the rest of the evening.

NO worries Xeks, I'm always super cautious.
I met my super drunk neighours last week though. Pretty sure the one or two were high on other stuff .
But the rest were normal guys.
FUNNY THING? When they went out to the bar (THE ONLY BAR in this town BTW which as an officer I am expected to avoid like the plague because it's nickname in the "whorehouse") they NEVER CAME BACK.
Seriously. I have not seen their cars since!

Yes, one did get arrested, DUI and license suspension. The other guy was sick, because he did drugs and had a bad reaction. What awesome neighbors.

YOu haven't heard about HOW I found this out.
The one that got a DUI
Returned on St. Patricks day to "apologize" by inviting me to supper
i was like okay figring the whole bunch of them would be home.
But nope just him.
Then HE tells me the whole I'm banned from driving for two months bit, and asks if I wanted to go out for St Patricks day.
LIKE EW
NO
As if I'd drive his alcoholic butt out. Good bye.
Still though, I was polite. I do have to live around these guys.
BLECH THOUGH. EUUUGH
