Well, at least the musical barrage had stopped, but that's pretty much all Alkaid managed to accomplish. As soon as she was within range, she felt him grab one of her upheld arms and all she knew was that she was flying up, up and.. back down really hard against the grasses of Elysion.
Her back connected with the grounds and her breath was swiftly knocked out of her. She could feel plain blossoming across her shoulder blades and the small of her back and she was sure, without even looking in a mirror, that she would be sporting some pretty nasty bruises if she managed to get out of this place.
She hobbled back up onto two feet, wincing as she forced her shoulders to stretch and keep from locking up in pain. She could push herself, she could do this, and she could show the negaverse that she was worthy of this second chance. She wasn't going to let some sailor scout get the upper hand on her.
"You know," she said slowly, her eyes trying to shoot daggers right through Euterpe's heart, "you talk entirely too much." She tilted her chin up a little as she spoke, staring down her nose at him. This time, though, she wasn't going to go after him - she just stood there with her hands splayed at her sides. It was definitely a challenge.

Zircon had her! At least she knew she had something--that damned noise was making it impossible to concentrate--but unfortunately for her, the utter cacophony was too much for her to even discern right from left, much less anything else that was going on in the battle. In a last, desperate attempt to incapacitate the senshi she had managed to grasped, she threw herself down to the ground, hoping that the dead weight would be enough to drag Sinon down with her. Zircon could only hope that whatever attack she'd shouted wouldn't make the noise worse.

"I know. It's one of my best qualities-- Could you please move nicely to the side? I've got this girl I really want to reach you know-- You can go back to your General. I really think we should just talk this situation out, I'm sure we can come to a resolution."
He was angling to the side as he spoke, obviously seeking an opening where he could pass her. Euterpe wasn't normally this stupid (or was he?) but it seemed that it had taken over further when he thought of Pegasus in the battlefield. If he could just reach her ... If only.
But Alkaid wasn't budging. Did he have to step over someone to get away from her?
... That was a pretty good idea. Now that he thought of it. It was an incredible idea. A nearby lieutenant ran through the pair, Euterpe taking that chance, he pulled the lieutenant, yanking him from his path to use as a stepping stone. With the extra height, he could just skip over Alkaid-- There, Euterpe froze in the air for a moment, trying to get to the dream priestess.

He'd been waiting for a magic attack, and he could only barely make out what the other senshi was shouting. Renewal? Did she heal? He was already moving to shield himself and wait for whatever strange attack might come. Flames. Magic Notes. Change in pressure. He experienced it all and then some. What he got was another shout, and then he noticed a new attack. Then again, this was his first encounter withBirhan, but he had no idea this was actually a borrowed attack. It was also his pleasure to have never met Alcyone either, but if they crossed paths in the future, he would tell her that her attack really SUCKED!
There was no safety in distance for it, and it consumed the area around him. It grew dark, and he was swallowed in a torrent of dark storm clouds and rain. Great. He was already wet, but he wasn't in the mood for rain. Not just rain, but down pouring rain. He couldn't see a damn thing, and he doubted he'd see any better if he had both his eyes working. Everything was swallowed up in the blinding downpour of rain, and he knew that any point, he could be attacked. Then again. If he couldn't see how, who was to say the same curtain of water was making him invisible to others. Well, aside from the very obvious storm cloud in the middle of the battleground just dumping Noah's worst nightmare on him.
The grip on his own weapon was becoming harder to maintain, and with pouring rain came the disadvantage of it being harder to throw. He was too close to teammates to throw his weapon blindly, so he crouched low to shielded his body. Better than nothing, and as he did, he made the slow movement to get away from the storm. That was until he moved a few steps and saw it was following him. Great.
Like any storm, he just had to wait this one out. He just knew that in that time, he was waiting for an attack as well, and prepared himself.

Chaonis was no more interested in getting his lights punched out than getting eaten by the earth, but both seemed to be on the verge of happening. As the sink hole dragged them down, Chaonis struggled to punch at Labyrinthite in a way that was not just mad flailing.
He recovered himself fast enough, lurching forward to attack him, fists flying. If it was going to be an all out beat down between the two, then so be it: he didn't care if he had his attack or not. His fists could do the work on their own!

Raite stepped backwards from the force of the attack, but Raite couldn't honestly say that Denebola compared. He may have been a leitenant, but he was a seasoned fighter as well.
He took advantage of her recoil, and her slight delay in her disorientation, struggling to regain his own composure. Themis's attack seemed to be diminishing, gradually, but it allowed Raite to grab ahold of his senses once more.
If only just in time to see Denebola's kick heading for him, and he managed to back up in irregular steps in the last few seconds of his disorientation. He didn't block or dodge the hit, Denebola's foot connecting with his cheek to leave a red mark. But it appeared that he had narrowly missed the full impact of Denebola's strengthened attack.
A smile, begging for revenge, was visible on his face. "Times up." And he began to advance with lightning quick attacks, a flurry of his tonfas slashing towards Denebola, his focus taken away from Themis. He didn't allow her to rest, relentlessly advancing upon her, fueled by his annoyance that the senshi had taken her opportunity in his disorientation.

Alkaid just raised a brow at him as he began to plead his case. She wasn't in the mood to listen to sob stories right now and she certainly wasn't just going to let him through without a fight. She wasn't stupid enough to let any more of the senshi team up - especially not with the Elysion Priestess.
She watched him as he grabbed the lieutenant and was honestly a bit surprised as she saw him use said body as a stepping stone to try and jump over her. Unfortunately, since Alkaid wasn't moving and had a pretty good vantage point, she knew what he was doing before he ever reached her. She steadied herself and reached up in one quick jerk to try and wrap both of her hands around one of his ankles.
Then she just jerked down, aiming to slam him into the ground in much the same way he had just done. Payback was a b***h.

'******** ******** ******** on ******** ******** ********-' Castor could only thing in curses as he felt teeth digging into the soft flesh of his neck. It was a vital exposed area he'd left open to a weapon Tanzanite could and would employ. Normal agents might not resort to such brutality, to such barbaric tactics. Tanzanite wasn't normal. She was Tanzanite, the woman fused with a youma. Half of her was not not human anymore. The other half wasn't even human to start with. The violet hair amazon had her bite of meat, as Castor had his own chunk of her flesh. Unlike her, there was no fix for him wound, as with a pained scream, he reeled backwards, flesh and blood flowing free and splattering, dripping down, and the senshi of hail moved to stop the wound. Adrenaline prevented the pain, but he had no way of knowing how much damage she'd done.
He couldn't feel the pain yet, but he could feel the warm blood running down his skin, soaking into his already stained uniform. A hand grabbed at the wound, only to pull away red and vibrant. Breathing ragged he looked at her, knowing full well that he could die. And yet he was still going to fight her. He was still determined to pull her down with him. 'There is no salvation for the negaverse' He'd been told. 'The only salvation we can offer them, is death.'
Castor would offer Tanzanite salvation. Even if it meant crushing her skull to award it.

She winced when the blade cut through his arm, but Sinon was simply grateful that it didn’t slice straight through his chest. That would have been a bloody, traumatizing sight. Just as she was about to focus back on squirming out of Zircon’s grasp the lieutenant suddenly dropped all her weight to the ground, sending a shrieking Sinon with her. If she had been just a bit calmer she might have realized that this was exactly Zircon’s intention, but Sinon was too preoccupied with being annoyed.
Sinon pushed up Zircon’s sleeves so that she could dig her nails into her skin, hoping that her grasp would loosen enough to dart out of. At the same time she attempted to kick the lieutenant, though she wasn’t sure how well that was working.

Payback was a b***h.
True statement.
"God! This is why I vote for world peace. But no, everybody's gotta go an eye for an eye." He grunted out in aggravation, insanely tired of this fighting s**t. It sucks. Fighting sucked.
Euterpe couldn't believe this girl used the same move. Or nearly the same. Close enough. Their positions switched, he now laid on the ground with the wind knocked out of him. He was breathing hard, struggling to kneel and get to his feet. Euterpe didn't take it easy on females-- this female especially, for getting in his way.
Euterpe did not have a tiara to throw. But he did have headphones. In a lame attempt, he threw the headphones at her in a feint attack, his own fist following in the form of one large knuckle sandwich.

Birhan's triumph in choosing a pretty damn awesome attack faded slightly as Wolframite disappeared in the small, concentrated storm. Huh. It was slightly less effective that she couldn't see him - even if she did know the general area thanks to the storm following him when he tried to move, he could be high, low, left or right within it. Punches and kicks wouldn't do her much good. Not to mention, she was only just starting to dry off from the giant wave earlier. She didn't want to run into the middle of the storm and be soaked all over again.
She sighed. There was nothing to it but to wait for the storm to die down. She quietly began edging around it. If Wolframite remained facing the same way, at least she might be able to take him by surprise by attacking from the side or behind...
Or she could always throw another attack into the middle of the storm and hope it was another area-affecting one to hit the kid while he couldn't see it coming. She began feeling about the area mentally, seeing if she could make a guess about the powers in the air, all the while keeping an eye on the storm enveloping Wolframite. If he was lucky, the storm would fade before she found something else to use against him.

Chase felt a fist connect with his cheek and he found his head twisting to the side. He didn't get a change to rub his face or even retaliate as yet another fist connected with his stomach. He grunted in pain as he punched back in retaliating aiming for Chaonis's face, then his shoulder with his other fist.
When this was all over he'd probably look like hell. Oh well, it wouldn't be the first time.
His weapon had been discarded once again as the two boys fought. He felt a fist connect with his collarbone and he was jerked back slightly cursing as his collarbone throbbed with pain. This was getting messy.
--
Denebola didn't hesitate to follow up with a punch but faltered when he moved forward attacking her quickly with his weapon. She didn't have time to attack in return and could only block the attack as fast as she could. The onslaught was difficult for her as her arms took up most of the beating until her hand slipped and one of his tonfas connected squarely with her shoulder.
She hissed in pain as she sidestepped out of the way of his other tonfa. Those things hurt! She brought her knee up trying to put space between herself and the lieutenant. She twisted her body to do a side kick and could only hope that it would force Raite back, it was getting harder and harder to block his attacks.

Alkaid didn't smirk or say anything witty as she saw the senshi collide with the ground at her feet. She'd learned more than once that small triumphs were short lived, especially in this battle, and she was done counting her chickens before they hatched. It gave her the clarity to see the headphones he whirled at her face and she brought up a hand to knock them away before they could hit her in the face. They served their purpose though, and she was distracted just long enough to miss the punch aimed right at her face.
Her head whipped to the side as a fist collided with her jaw, pain striking out across her face like a lightning bolt. Blood was already dripping from her mouth where her cheek had been grated against her teeth at the blow, but she wasn't going to stop and wipe it away - not when he had come so close.
Seconds after her whiplash reaction, she curled a fist without even looking up at him. Then, as her eyes slid up to find his face, her fist sprung upward in the same movement, aiming for the underside of his chin for a well-placed uppercut.

Chaonis was having fun, despite being punched numerous times and feeling his muscles burning from the exertion of the fight. Not that simple muscle fatigue and bruises were going to stop him, damn it!
His head jerked to the side when Labyrinthite's fist connected with it. He stumbled, almost falling, but he stuck out a leg and caught his balance before being sent off balance backwards by the hit to his shoulder.
"Damn!" he cursed, swinging and landing a blow to the guy's collarbone. That one sent a jolt of pain through his knuckles, but he followed through with another swing to the nega's face.
He was waiting to try and catch Labyrinthite's next punch, maybe get behind him and wrench his arm out of socket. If he could slow the guy down somehow, that would make all the difference in the fight. It was all in getting the chance to do so.

Themis wasn't moving, hand clutched tightly onto his arm to make it stop bleeding. It wasn't working very well so far, though he knew that would need time - time where he couldn't assist Sinon or Denebola, which was definitively annoying.
Through...
There was still Hypnos, who still looked winded. "Come on." He didn't offer his hand again, but he somehow made himself smile.
"I need to get this taken care of, can you take care of me during that time ?" No, Themis had no attention to using Hypnos as a shield. However, taking care of Ainsley had taught him one thing - make children feel important and they would probably be willing to do what you where saying.
If only he knew Ainsley and Hypnos were one and the same. He would probably s**t bricks.
