From her vantage point high above in the rafters, Nyx smiled as she watched the display below. It amused her to see the results of darkness entering into various occupants. She let her eyes scan the room, wondering what that same darkness could possibly do to each of them.

Aoibeann dogded the blasts, a feeling of exhiliration running through her. When was the last time she fought such an opponent? She grinned. She was glad she come here.
She sliced out a him attacking fiercely and with lighning fast speed, even as she taunted him.
"Well, well. Killing those you used to know? What a wonderful way to start off your rule. Nyx will be pleased. Won't you Nyx?" she chuckled.

Deflecting the Darkness with his Holy Blade as he held Ari close, he swiftly brought her to the other side of the room away from the conflict. Afterwards, he slowly made his way back towards the area where Katsuto stood.

"This will end as quickly as possible.. You will not defeat me so easily like the last time.." he said, as a holy aura engulfed his body.

After regaining her footing, Ari rubbed the base of her neck and cringed at the pain there. There wasn't much time to recover as she dodged some of the dark energy flying around the room. Fear began to well up inside of her once more, but she ignored this and looked around the room. Spotting Damien, she tried to call out to him.
"Damien, is it possible to call the guards?"

The vampire deftly moving around each attack, his grin widening as the darkness filled the room.
"So you all choose to defy me? You shall all suffer greatly for your insolence. But perhaps a little fun before that."
Raising his arm high into the air, chains formed from the pooled blood on the stone floor. He gestured to each of the occupants as the binding circled about to ensnare each present.
"Do you wish to see what darkness is truly capable of?"
His grin contorted into a sinister look as a black vapor surrounded the links of the bloody chains.
"Let us unleash some darkness into your feeble hearts. Let it consume you and show the true nature that lies within these righteous facades."
The chains flew out, aiming for anything that moved.

Rosalie had stood transfixed watching the events. She had never before felt this sense of hopelessness. Katsuto what are you doing? You don't want this...
She moved to get closer to him. To wrap her arms around him and show him that everything was fine. That he didn't have to do this.
She didn't make it to him, though. A chain shot out and wrapped itself around her ankle, pulling her down. She hit the ground hard. The chain tugged at her leg painfully, pulling a terrified shriek from the girl as it dragged her across the floor.

Damien jumped around dodging the chains, hearing the queen's plea. He shook his head, "I am sorry this battle is between you and...and him. No one should interfere, all we can do is protect ourselves. But I will try. At least for the sake of I do not want to see anymore bloodshed here."

Damien knew what he was risking but he whistled anyways for the other guards to appear around the previous lord. They were surrounding the previous lord as he began his bloody rampage. Damien could see Nyx was embedded in the previous lord also. He smirked as he accepted that darkness could not be completed eradicated.

Ari paled at the truth in Damien's words. Never in all her life had she ever been put in a fighting situation. She wasn't even sure if she could physically fight against anyone, much less such a powerful opponent. Still, Damien was right. There couldn't be any more death or suffering. No one deserved that. The surrounding chains made it difficult to move, but she slowly began to make her way back to the center of the room. She saw a chain wrap around Rosalie, and turned to some of the guards in the room.
"Please, try to get rid of these chains! Once they are gone, things may be easier."
She continued carefully forward, looking for anything she could use as a potential weapon.

Nyx's smile couldn't be any wider as she looked down at her precious darkness at work. She sent her own will into the chains to help pull out any darkness in whomever the chains touched.

Aoibheann dodged the chains, those getting to close he push away with her power.
She knew the danger of letting one touch her. Her very being was in a very delicate sense of balance. She was neither dark enough to be considered evil nor light enough to be considered good. It was that was with most of her poeple, though they usually leaned closer to one side or the other.
The movement of the chains was becoming increasingly more complicated. Whirling, twisting, and striking in unpredicatable patterns.
Well. It seems I'll have to go into offense.
With a snap of her fingers one chain burst into flames.

As Ryn continued to walk towards Katsuto and Ari, he continued to sidestep the Chains of Darkness until he reached close by and stopped. As the Chains spun and wrapped around his arm, no emotion was apparent on Ryn's face.

"Let's end this.." he said, as he jerked his arm swiftly, severing the chain as he rushed Katsuto, Ryn swiftly sheathed his black Katana and tossed it to Ari. As he neared Katsuto, the white Katana slashing downward at the Vampire Lord with an immense, yet familiar strength behind it.

A darkened blade formed within the vampire's grasp as he brought it up to parry the attack against him.
"I agree. Let us end this, Kuromaru. You have been allowed to live for much too long. Allow me to send you to your final rest."
He angled the blade up to knock Ryn's sword out of the way before rushing forward. A small gleam in his eye caused him to stop,
"No, I have a better idea. A much more fitting means for your demise."
Raising up an arm, he made a slight gesture to the surrounding chains before sending them in a large circle about the room. Slowly the circle began to grow smaller, not letting a single soul escape from their bindings. As this happened, his left hand seemed to glow with a darkness. The vampire vanished from the spot once more, leaving only a dark laughter in his place as well as an ominous voice.
"Perhaps I shall let someone else have the honor of destroying you, Ryn. Someone you worked so hard to save. Your efforts have been futile to this point, why not let it all end here?"
His dark form reappeared behind Ari, as his hand thrust into her chest unleashing a corrupting darkness into her very heart.

As a strange sense of pain entered her heart, Ari looked down at the hand. The stinging sensation made her feel sick, and she struggled to remain upright. Cringing, she stumbled backwards to try moving away from the hand. She felt a little strange, that something wasn't right. Suddenly, she had a very strange urge to hurt someone. To see blood. The still unfamiliar thirst began to creep back into her throat as she fought to remain in control of her actions.

Aoibheann stepped away from the chain swirling around them. Her fire was doing little now and she could think of nothing else she could uses. Her shadows would be useless in this situation.
Aoibheann backed up somemore not liking the dark pleasure she was getting by being so near to her companions.
