 Ghaleon wrote down the instructions as fast as he could, and quickly went to get the ingredients. Something was already telling him in the back of his head that he was going to mess something up, though he did his best to keep that small voice silent while he went to work.
"Boil two cups of water" he murmured to himself in a hushed voice not wanting to disturb anyone else, but still feeling it best to recite the steps as he did them for his own benefit.
"Three sprigs of peppermint" 'What exactly was a sprigg?' He thought to himself and shook his head. 'Who cares what it is just add it in you can look up what it is later.'
"Dash of lemon juice." 'A dash? what is this cooking class? Shouldn't this be more exact?' He grumbled a bit 'This is magic, not exact science, if it says dash just add a dash...what exactly is a dash?' Worried he hoped he added enough.
"A pinch of beetle eyes." 'Is a pinch more than a dash? or Bigger?' He tried to take it literal and pinched the remains of the beetle eye as he picked up as much as pinching it would bring...it was not a pleasant experience to hold between two fingers.
"A spoonful of Chocolate." 'Well I at least I know how much that is.' He took a breath.
"Stir Sixteen times counter clockwise" 'Makes you wonder what happens if you went clockwise...not that I'm willing to find out for myself.'
"Let it simmer for 10 minutes, then allow it to cool for a few more then drink."
'You messed up.'
'I did not'
'Come on you so messed up the pinch and the dash parts.'
'No no no, I'm sure I added enough, nothing will go wrong.'
'I'm telling you, you messed up.'
'Look why don't I just wait and see okay? I'm sick of arguing with myself here.'
Time passed by quickly enough as he watched the other students. some already done, others still working, and a few waiting as he was. Taking a small cup (prayed he wasn't about to poison himself) he took a small sip.. and at first everything seemed to be okay...until after it grew his hair changed color and went and curled itself.
"Okay..so maybe I dashed when I should have pinched? Or pinched when I should have dashed?" At least it was only temporary...

Seventh year Slytherin studentDaemon tapped his couldron, pouring in 2 cups of water, waiting while they boiled. When the water did, Daemon added 3 sprigs of peppermint, a dash of lemon juice, a pinch of beetle eyes, and a spoonful of chocolate. Swiftly, Daemon begun to stir 16 times, making sure to do it counterclockwise. After the last turn, Daemon settled back, letting it simmer for 10 minutes. Hesitating, Daemon took a sip, closing his eyes as his hair exploded over him. He shuddered. "Wow...."

I extinguished the fire to let my potion cool. I poured some into a goblet before taking a hearty gulp.
I felt the most peculiar sensation of hair rapidly growing from my jaw, chin and upper lip.
My newly formed mustache tickled my nose causing me to giggle. I glanced over to the mirror.
"Cousin it indeed." My hair reached the floor. I looked like a red cousin it.
((I laugh so hard when I picture this girl covered in crimson hair...))

Aludra Yvette... She snickered at everyone who was running around with their hair past their knees and mustaches. Aludra had forgotten how excited they must be since they couldnt alter their appearance at will as she could. "Everyone looks really funny... but I dont think that I would fancy you having a mustache, you would look old." She filled her cauldron with cool water from her wand, then redirected it towards its base to light a large fire. Aludra sat back in her seat and waited for the water to boil. It was a bit aggrivating to wait for the water to boil, but it would be worth the wait. ...6th Year Slytherin

 Cloud wrote down the the ingredients and the instructions for the potion, and then laughed as she watched Daemon drink his potion across the classroom. He was almost unrecognizable under a mass of hair.
Alright, let's see..
She filled her cauldron with two cups of water, and tapped the space underneath. A bright blue flame began burning. Cloud sat back, and waited for the water to boil, slightly bored.

I peaked through my hair and noticed Cloud taking a seat not to far away from me. I stood up and wobbled over to her, falling onto the stool next to her.
"Hi!" I said, my voice a bit muffled due to the mustache and beard.

*giggles* My, everyone is having so much fun! 25 points to everyone, and an extra 5 to Heart for going above and beyond and giving herself a moustache as well. x3

Callysto ladled her completed potion into a glass vial and took a swig.
A few seconds of --nothing-- then her silver hair grew, almost down to her feet -- and with her height, that was quite a lot of hair!
She picked up a spare book-belt and proceeded to tie her long locks back.

After letting my potion simmer for 10 mins, then cool down, I poured some into a phial. Turning to Aludra I said,"Bottoms up."I drank the phial in one gulp, it was a rather nice tasting potion, smacking my lip I wanted for the potion to work. It didn't take long I could feel a slight tingle sensation on my upper lip, within seconds hair started growing extremely fast, once it finished I had a nice brown handlebar mustache. Reaching up I gave each end a twist and ask,"So Aludra how do I look?"

Aludra Yvette... Aludra saw that her water in the cauldron had begun to boil viciously. "Its about time." she muttered. She added the three sprigs of peppermint, a dash of lemon juice, a pinch of beetle eyes, and a spoonfull of delicious chocolate. It was almost sad to see the bits of chocolate hit the pot, she could have been eating it. She took her wand and stirred the potion 16 times counterclockwise. Now all she needed to do was let it simmer for the 10 minutes and it would be done.
She heard Kenneth asking how he looked and she figured he had to have taken the potion. Aludra looked over and saw him with a large mustache. She covered her mouth with her hand and laughed. "You look like my grandfather." she snickered. ...6th Year Slytherin

Waiting to see what Aludra would look like with a ton of hair, I laughed loudly at Aludra comment and asked,"Doesn't it make me look dashing?"

Cloud laughed as she watched Kage stumble over to her, with a matching mustache and beard.
Ha, you look hilarious! I need to finish mine...
Cloud noticed that her water was boiling, so she added the peppermint, lemon juice, beetle eyes, and chocolate. She then stirred her potion sixteen times, clockwise, and lowered the heat so it could simmer.

"Thanks." I say trying to flip my hair over my shoulder and keep my balance on the stool.
"Everyone looks hilarious." I say glancing at Kenneth and Daemon. I catch sight of myself in the mirror again and begin to chuckle. "So funny..."

 Liviana finally gained her composure and remembered her uncomfortably long strawberry blonde locks were in the way. She coiled it tightly, and then pushed her wand through the mass of curls into a makeshift bun. There was no need for a wand in Potions anyway.
