-Dessynea- Shiny Gligar Rosemary's Baby It was pretty good. Mia Farrow as good too. o: Wish they played out the ending though, I don't really like ambiguous endings. How does the movie end? I've only read the book and I don't remember it being too ambiguous. Spoilers? After Rosemary walks in on the group around her baby, one of the women in the coven was rocking the cradle too fast and it was crying and Rosemary started to say something about it, and then I think it was either the obstetrician or Mr. Castavet, but they told the women to let Rosemary do it, and it ended with her getting the baby to stop crying.

Rosemary's Baby is a forty-three year old movie and a forty-four year old book. I honestly doubted that anyone else other than me and Dess would be interested in how it ended.

Medeus Zephyrkitty Serenity, since I finished up Firefly yesterday. And now I'm going to piss off a few people and say that Firefly was only decent. There were some things it did really well, and it had a lot of potential, but it also was only half a season and the episodes varied in quality. I'd expect it to have gotten better and more consistent once it really got into the story arc, but it being canceled means it didn't get that chance. Serenity was good, though. It actually got to deliver on some of that potential, and a two-hour movie means they can't waste time on terrible filler plots. That said, it means they also had to ignore some sub-plots and apparently the movie only covered part of what was planned for the series, so there are also several things that they never actually answer/resolve. I saw Serenity one time....I didn't understand much of what was happening. Would it have helped to start with Firefly? (lol I didnt know at the time...) Watching Firefly first would definitely help. Serenity takes place a few months after Firefly "ended", and it skips explaining most of the backstory and characters since it's assumed you watched the show already. It's up on Netflix and Hulu if you want to watch it, although Hulu rotates which episodes are available.

Repomen Honestly I liked the Opera way better, but this was a good standalone movie. Interesting direction to take the plot, though the ending was both confusing, and kind of lackluster....

Yeah, the Repo opera was pretty good. I usually don't like movies like that and wasn't expecting to watch the whole thing.

A member posted a graphic picture once and I waited to edit it. Then someone got offended. I'm more pre-emptive with my mod powers now.

I usually was pretty pre-emptive though.

I usually was pretty pre-emptive though. DO IT HOBO! It was pretty good. :3 Reminded me of Silence of the Lambs where it was sorta horror without having to resort to being a cliched slasher or something. I remember getting all butthurt that dissection pictures were being posted. :'3

Eagle Vs. Shark.
It was...uncomfortable. I saw a lot of myself in the protagonist.
