Tanpopo smiled as she followed her sisters closely. She was shy and nervous. She had only been outside the Okiya once since her arrival and it was awkward for her. It was as if she were caged inside it. She liked life in the Okiya, yes, and the people within it, but she wished to have more of the outside world. She lived outside for most of her life, as she lived on a farm, so this inside world was so different for her. She loved the outdoors... She missed her home.

Iyasu nodded to Tanpopo, "Go on a head and tell Shagatsu-san what your favorite hobby is." She winked to Popo-chan as she nodded to Yokome to allow her to explore if she wished.

Yokome nodded back to her Onee-san and then decided to walk towards the waterfall. She carefully stepped ontp one of the rocks to admire the waterfall's beauty.

"I enjoy singing. My mother.." Popo paused for a moment and looked down. She shook the memories from her head and looked back up. She continued, "Pardon me, that is not important." She paused once more before continuing, "I enjoy singing very much. It seems to brighten up everything that hears it. The flowers do so well with song. And people...people seem to become a part of it. It's beautiful. I have a deep passion for it."

"ahh yes, we jesters have a great part in singing also. People become relaxed by singing also, it is something of a sedative for most people." Shagatsu said with a grin

"I must say, I have never seen flowers do well from singing! It must be the voice that comes from such a beautiful girl" Shagatsu said with a smile. "Tell me," He said, looking at both of the girls, "How have the Okiya's been doing?"

Still in the humble, rough robes of being a maid, Umou very humbly stood in the entrance to the shrine. She had a natural reverance for any holy places, and was hesitant to make a mistake by doing anything that might seem disrespectful.
"Morning glories!" she gasped, seeing her favorite vining flower just inside the entrance. Without really considering it, she drifted over in order to be able to look at the blossoms more closely, and to smell the gentle scent they gave off.

Yokome slowly wandered back to her Onee-san. 'I was just over there admiring the waterfall,' Yokome said the Iyasu-san. 'It is so hard to take all of its beauty in at first! The sound of the rumbling falls really adds to it, too.' Yokome said as she clasped her oppostie hand tightly.

"Oh there you are, Yokome-chan! This shrine is truly a wonder." She relied softly. She looked over to Tanpopo and smiled. "Would you two like to stay a bit longer, or would you like to go to the noodle shop?"

"Oh my girls . . now, when you get older you'll have to make decisions on your own. Now tell me . . . we can go to the noodle shop or we stay for a while longer and wait for our dear friend, Shagatsu-san, to play something?" She left the option open for them. Iyasu wanted to make them to start making their own decisions now, so they could later what would be best for themselves.
