Cho and Aphrodite walked in silence for a while til they reached a wide riverbed. Aphrodite took a long drink from the river.

Cho sat down on a rock next to the river. Cho looked around in deep thought.

Aphrodite looked over thinking that she simple fly for all of this and find herself some handsome dragon. Though she looked over at Cho and saw that she was looking around in deep thought. Aphrodite broke the silence and said, "You know being bound wouldn't be so bad if that would be alright with you."

Cho looked over to Aphrodite in concern, "You do understand there is no turning back from it right.

Aphrodite said, "Yes, I understand."

Cho said, "Alright, come over here and lay down. It won't hurt but I hear that it's a bit weird at first."

Aphrodite came and laid next to her and Cho laid a hand on her shoulder and said words in the Fae language and proceeded with the binding. Aphrodite and Cho opened their eyes and looked at each other.
They looked over at each other in silence. They thought, "Yes this is weird."

They started to laughing. They stopped when they thought they heard a noise. A little rabbit hops out to the river and get a drink of water.

Roman carefully climbed down and a chill went down his spine, followed with a flash of a twisted spinning scene: him and the ranger, every crack of bone that broke, black feathers scattered everywhere. And once the spinning stopped, a non-moving, twisted, mangled body with a wing ripped off. The young vampire lost his appetite for the remainder and then walked to the side and rested against a tree in Micheal's view until Dark was finished digging their sanctuary from the light.

"You come near me again, questions better be answered. You go near the others though, I will carry out my words. And yes, that is a threat."

She was going to draw the line clearly even if this man would not. These games were old and she had no patience for them. If he did not want to answer them, fine. Then he would not have a reason to be surprised by any action later against him. He had his chance.

Should have tried to take him out, Jay thought as he walked away. But Hammand's words still jibed with what she knew. The knights had not seen the unnamed mage there, just the dragon that Sain had spoken off, the dead one whose carcass had disappeared the next day. But she was certain that this man had chosen to stay behind to fight the flight of dragons.

What was she was missing?

Watching him continue to walk, she thought about what she was going to next now. With the others now gone to a location she did not know, she was alone for once - and it was unusual. She was not sure if she had simply gotten use to traveling with company or if it was residual from the mage still in sight. She looked at one wing and then the other.

"Guess I'll get some use out of you while you are out," she sighed. There were still two horses running around somewhere. If she was lucky, she'd find both. Rubbing her face as she began to walk, she started to gather up the belongings that had been left out in the grasses, namely her saddle and packs and Roman's shirt and cloak. She took a look at the dead bound but found nothing of value, which probably meant that the bound stuck close to the dragon and did not go into town often.

All of it she tucked beside a tree she marked with her sword. There was too much too carry alone and she couldn't fly with the weight of it all, so she would leave it behind to return for it later. First things first now that was out of the way, she should check to see how the others were faring.

'Did you find somewhere to hole up?' she asked Micheal as she jumped into the sky in attempt to find Roman's horse. Chances were better that it was still close. Micheal's she did not know where to begin to look and might have to let go until the next night when the vampires could track it down.

For a moment, as the scream of the fallen dragon tore through the air, Ruscar thought he had won. It seemed like a suitable escape, and a sudden boost of confidence resulted in the reborn not even casting a glance backwards to check. He was totally at ease and perfectly oblivious.

He never saw the lightening coming.

A high pitch, strangled screech resounded through the forest. The reborn fell writhing, smashing through tree branches and hitting the ground with a heavy thump. Vaguely he could tell that he was bruised and bleeding, but Rus' could make no effort to do anything but lie pathetically on the ground.

And Roman's horse was about as easy to find as a caterpillar from her height in the dark.

'I'm fine.' Disturbed, but untouched. 'We'll see if we can't find yours and Roman's horses tomorrow night. Right now we've still a few hours left before daybreak.' She took a breath of the fresh, but cool upper air that rushed past her as she flew, watching carefully the ground below and the skies ahead of her as she flew. 'What's your take on dragon's blood? Is that off-limits for you or open for chance?' she asked, focusing on the path she was taking, one going in the direction the other dragons had been pointed before being interrupted by the trio and Tainted earlier.

Bladeshards. She was hoping for a different answer, having been ignoring her gut on what it was telling her he'd say. Well, this could play out a little more lone bow than she hoped.

'Gotta kill something, so I figure I'm going to bring down one of the dragons, hopefully before it reaches the town. Bust your wings out if you want to come with, but if you do you're going to probably need to feed on the dragon that is taken down.' He certainly wasn't going to munch on the rider as far as she knew unless he really snapped.

Her wings beat down strongly to turn and catch a spot of air that was warmer, lifting her up higher and making it easier to coast. 'And maybe this way we can get something extra for Roman before Dawn. I don't know if the horse was enough since we were interrupted by that mage.'

The young vampire watching his sire take his natural form felt the need to show him up with his wings butt re-framed from doing so.

Then once sure he was a good distance away Roman commented with a slight chuckle "Yeah go fly with your love bird."

Micheal loosen his cuffs as his hair fought to get loose from his tie that held it back.
'Something clearly is going on that we haven't heard about, think it's possible Isley will know or should we try to get the information from the Mage.'
The vampire then chuckle at the thought of how to kill this man, threaten his bound. 'could break his neck soon as I touch him.'

Micheal's wings flapped a few times as he was focusing on flying, rather on the one flying next to him.
'What ever we do has to be quick'
