Cormini gamefreak41495 Kyrenx kirashimu Legend of the Summit Hmmm... I'm eager to see an upset by either Ice trainer. No offense to you, KP. It would just be nice. I would have to say that either Fire, Ice, or Rock is the most disadvantaged type, due to poor availability of useful pokemon or by other means. Does anyone care to disagree? I completely disagree, Ice has many amazing and diverse strategies to use! So does Fire. I have to agree with rock though. I actually think Rock is a superior type to Ice and Fire. Of course, that's just me.I'm assuming this isn't influenced by type advantage over the other two? But yes, Rock is a pretty good type, with Pokemon of all categories. And with Sandstorm in play, Special Attacks are renderred near useless unless super-effective. Even then sometimes not, which I have learned today. Well, it helped T-tar. Just kinda harmed all of the others... And I didn't plan to use him that early, but you forced my hand.

X Dark Serge X Now, now... Im not impliying I support anyone in particular... but I´ll rather have a fighting gym around (Zetshimaru, Im looking at you)... it grants us gyms leaders better type coverage and also cover a mayor number of menaces to ourselves... Ice type... kind of does otherwise... Serge knows what happened last time Zetshimaru was a leader. Zetshimaru disappeared. ninja
Maybe Zetshimaru will try next time if Zetshimaru is allowed to, granted Zetshimaru will have to find a new type most likely. HG is making the game much more fun with all of the new stuff, which makes breeding easier.

I'm ready to begin the finals. I suppose if the battles are going to be recorded for everyone to see, I won't spoil the outcome regarding who wins and loses. Good luck Kira and KP.

Rock is generally (not always) effective against types that Grass is weak against. I say Grass is the weakest and THAT IS FINAL. This has basically been "fight Nitrox, if you win, you have a chance". lol Not that I care. I picked up Grass because Iamjustice wanted me too and I stuck to the type. It's definately a fun challenge to be a weak type. I like the challenge. Makes me a better trainer.

Would it be okay if I transfer my team over to my Hear Gold version? If so I can provide the new FC.

Ice is on the defense since it only resists itself, and Poison on offense since it's only super-effective on Grass. Grass just has common weaknesses so people see it as an easy target. Which is why you have to use even more strategy than some others among us.

You know me better than that, though you pretty much posted most of the major points as to why I made that claim. Being an Adamant user of Aerodactyl and it's use of Sandstorm to bulk through attacks that would otherwise destroy it, have given me much respect for the Rock-type as a whole. That, and I've seen first hand how Stealth Rock could easily destroy my poor Flying-type team. To be frank, that's all without getting into the three Swift Swimmers. pirate

Which is why you have to use even more strategy than some others among us. I see what you're saying... But having the most x.5 attacks and tying Rock with the most x2 defense openings, Grass makes for a difficult type. Ice may resist only one, but it doesn't have as many weaknesses as Grass. Ice has a slight advantage all around due to Grass having its weaknesses realitively greater in quantity in magnitude. Poison has some resistances. Basically, you're skipping over the white spaces. A type with more white spaces is better off in certain instances because they battle normally and have no drawbacks. Grass just has (1) very little white spaces and (2) many weaknesses. Chicka-PWN-chicka. That's mah shotgun, by the way. My new phrase. I get what you're saying, but still. Now FIGHT TO THE DEATH PEOPLE I WANT A NEW LEADER.
