Would you rather speak your second language fluently with no mistakes or speak many languages at an intermediate level with lots of mistakes?

I already speak German... So if it means I'd bagically learn Japanese overnight, Japanese.
Learn 5 languages closely related to your own or 2 completely unrelated ones?

2 completely unrelated . I'm not fond of languages similar to English , other than French and Italian .
