Nasumi didn't stop the tears from flowing down her cheek...she never loved anyone as much as she loved her pack... and now she destroyed that trust. She ran, and didn't stop until she was out of hearing. She slid down a wall slowly and sobbed her heart out... "Mommy...*sob sob* I miss you..." she sobed loudly.

As Io held Shadow, he nodded when the twins declared they would be joining him and Yipes. When Cassie pet Shadow's head, he felt a tinge in his stomach. Nothing like this should have happened to any wolf, let alone a pup. Looking at her, he wagered she was hardly even old enough to eat meat.

Tsukiya sighed and said, " Now remember what I told you about the people from the human cities planning to get rid of all the wolves on this continent to further their developing? Well, from what I have heard from an eagle who is an old friend of mine, the humans are almost ready to begin, but I don't know when. If we don't find out more about this, I fear for what could happen to all of us, especially Shadow. I am not sure if taking her to a vet in that human city is a good idea, but it may be her only chance. And, if we catch up to the others, we could do some scouting in the human city to find out more about this threat. What do you say?"

Miazi mulled over Tsukiya's words. While she was thinking Nasumi ran into the clearing and rested her head on her shoulder. Miazi's tail started to wag a little when she saw the female wolf. "It's alright Nasumi. Hush now," she said gently to the crying female. She looked back at Tsukiya. "What we need is to go all together. Those of us who can shape shift into humans can go as humans and the rest can go as wolves. The ones who are wolves can pretend to be those who can be humans' dogs. That way it will be less suspisious. Then we can split into teams. Some of us go to the vet's and the others scout the city. How's that?" she said.

Cassie quiet literally bit down on her tongue as Nasumi came into the clearing. With a little effort she surpressed the growl that raged in her throat and kept pace next to shadows head. Heranger bubbled at the sight of the injured pup but quickly died down as she hummed softly to her. " Hang on pup, we'll have you fixed up in no time okay? Just hang on a bit longer, when you're well we'll all go hunting okay? You get to take down your own prey adn everything I'll make sure of it. Just stay with us kiddo." She mumbled quietly petting the pup gently.

Duece clenched his fists as Nasumi entered the clearing but kept his calm. It hurt him more to see his sister and the pup hurting then it did to see the female wolf who had caused it all. With a silent growl he stayed at his sisters side as she spoke to the pup. He smiled sadly and touched his sisters shoulder lightly to let her know he was there. With a shake of his head he walked in front of his sister and nodded to the group " I'll go ahead and find the vet let'em know we're coming with an injured pup that way they'll be ready. Anyone wanna come then let's go." That said Duece spun on his toes and was off his long human legs taking him over the trash strewn ground. He tried to breathe as little as possible with the stench of humanity thick around him.

Miazi's cocked her head to the side and listened carefully. She could hear the others leaving. "Time to rejoin the pack. They're heading for the vet's. I'm going to go and talk to Duece," she said. With that she stood up and ran off. She found Duece and shifted into her human form. She had to walk fast to keep up with his long strides. Now how was she going to start the conversation?

Tsukiya ran to catch up and said, "Hey! Wait for me!" As he caught up he went to Nasumi and said, "Hey, I was a little harsh on you. Sorry about that, just don't beat yourself up anymore, it's done and in the past, and it can't be changed okay? Let's focus on the task at hand. Hey Miazi, should we make the teams of who is with the vet and who is going to scout now, better early than late, eh?"
