It was also at that point that Luo noticed a young boy enter the academy courtyard. He wasn't wearing his usual kage robes, so for the moment he didn't seem formal enough to address the boy. He decided to see who he was when he was done with Kaizen.

Yamatano smiles as the boy accepts the handshake, although no one could tell due to his kakashi like mask. "Nice to meet you, Hizuma. So are you an academy student here?" he asked.

Hizuma nodded once. "Yes, for now" he replied. He was seeking assistance in getting hat he needed to learn out of the way to progress to Genin.

"Awesome! So, I couldnt help but notice, your eyes are completely white. Are you a Hyuuga?" Yamatano asked, curious because he had never heard of a Hyuuga living in Kiri. Then again, ever since the great migration of the Hatake clan from Leaf to Mist three generations ago, there were Hatakes in Kiri. So he really shouldnt be assuming things too quickly.

As Luo simply tried to step to the side to avoid Kai's weak blow, Kai smiled slightly to himself. The blow had been a feint, hence the lack of power. Kai quickly pulled back and maneuvered the blade so that it was no longer thrusting forward, instead bringing it around to his left and then swinging his whole body as he struck towards Luo, aiming for the Mizukage's gut as he sidestepped."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Kai had seen LT perform a similar maneuver when Kaizen had first been learning the swordstyle, and just as he had done against LT, Kai rolled forward, narrowly avoiding Luo's strike. However this time as he rolled, Kai managed to grab several shuriken from the holster on his left thigh. As Kai rose to his feet he spun his body and launched the shuriken at Luo, using not only the force of his arm, but the force of his spin to do so. After regaining his footing, Kai jumped back a few paces as he prepared himself for his next course of action, and, perhaps more importantly, Luo's."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

He figured he could get treated for the wound later, but the maneuver was beautiful. It was what echoed the almost free flowing nature of the mist sword style in its higher stages, and appeared as a dance which continued on its own momentum. However for Kaizen, the boy was still needing to learn how to work with vertical and horizontal lines, as well as stronger strikes.

Hizuma nodded. "I am. As far as I know, I am the only of my family to have migrated to Mist" he explained, keeping one eye lazily on the sword fight going on.

"Aww dude that is awesome! So can you use the Byakugan?" Yamatano asked, truly curious. He had read about the Byakugan in his history books, but had never seen someone with the actual thing.

Aideen Hyuuga  ミストのブラインド娘 Hyuuga Bloodline| Academy Student| Taijutsuist Aideen entered the academy with a feeling of displacment, she didn't even know what was going on, only she just had to get a headband, and use her byakugan the first chance she got. She looked pretty much like a Hyuuga, no pupils, pale eyes, the works. She just simply waited for something to happen to at least point her in the right direction. She went out to the courtyard of the academy since that was where most of the people were. (I always sucked starting at the academy)
