Therefore, to give them a piece of the symbol of the clan, they often wore necklaces or bracelets with the crest to represent the clan to its fullest wherever they were. It was a keepsake to say the least. Deciding to put the business of his village before personal business, Luo muttered, "Welcome back. You may proceed with your verbal report Fordon." He decided he would simply ask about it after all official matters had been attended to.

LT came back the the coffee maker and started another pot. Before he set a new cup of his world famous brew before the mizukage, LT noticed for a split second that Luo's attention was captured by Fordons necklace.... something very interesting indeed. At a closer examination LT noticed that it looked like it came for the Ushio clan... even more interesting. LT smiled under his kakashi like mask as he sat back down in his chair and waited for Fordon to finish his verbal report.

Fordon responded "yes my lord. the journey went smoothly with Mai till we were deep in the forest on the edges of the Land of Fire. It was then i noticed we were being followed. Three assailants. two were easy to pick up but the third was highly trained. I alerted Mai and were set down our packs ready for an attack. I was attacked by two men on each at almost the same time. It would have been hard to avoid the attack so i decided not to. soon after that i learned the brilliance of their strategy. They used long swords to hold me in place and then the third attacker showed herself. She was the most skilled and seemed to be the leader. In addition to those she proved to be a fire user. I escaped from their hold and a battle ensued. I killed the the first attacker then the female fire user. However the fire user incinerated the body of my first kill. soon as i was sure that the fire user was dead i went after the last attacker. He was in pursuit of Mai who had the Hero Water. I arrived to find her holding him off and i finished him. Then i carried the body back and buried it with the fire users body. after that was done i continued my escort to the hidden waterfall village. i was not allowed into the village but the guards were friendly enough. the return trip was uneventful but i have few things that make me feel ill at ease. one was the fire user of the group. she was skilled. a chunin level at least though i must admit she had no talent. the next issue is the amount of information the attackers had. they knew where we were coming from and that we had the hero water. the biggest issue is that the ninja from Takigakure sat back and watched rather then assist us." Fordon concluded revealing what was on his mind.

The real question, is how the assailants knew the exact E.T.A of Mai and Fordon. It wasn't exactly common knowledge between both villages. Unless..." Luo's eyes widened for a moment before he looked at Fordon, then back at LT as his mood suddenly became more serious. "Takigakure has a traitor in its midst, possibly more than one. They are of high rank, most likely their equivalent of the ANBU, and they are patrol guards. The rogues were merely a test for Fordon. Upon seeing that Fordon was able to withstand the impalement, the real traitors abandoned their mission to take out a hopefully tired Fordon, and instead relayed that he was a threat to Taki so that Fordon couldn't relay to the leader of the village the oddity of the ordeal." Luo sighed to himself as he looked at both of them once more, his gaze falling on Fordon. "Thank you Fordon for completing the mission safely and effectively. Is there anything you wish to ask before you are dismissed?" He then turned to Tares muttering, "I want your squad up to date on the genin level taijutsu they've chosen, and jutsu both universal, and non universal by the end of the week. Consider this a B-Rank mission."

"Yes sir i have one request." Fordon said stepping toward the desk. the silver on his neck bouncing a little as he moved "A while back requested to leave the village for some training and i was wondering if you would like me to now." he handed a note to the Mizukage which he had written on the way back it said. 'i will be developing a short sword style.' below that was what looked like just a series of decorative swirls of ink. however the Mizukage would know the code and know that it said 'I now have a heart of fire!'

LT hated traitors, and quickly stood and formed a clone which sprint out of the office. LT then took his seat and looked at Luo. He nodded awaiting further orders.

Fordon nodded. he hadn't let the map leave his side from more then ten minutes. Fordon was ready. It was finally time for him to journey into the wild. in many cultures there is a ceremony of leaving the village and becoming a man but in Fordon's case this would be a little different. He would be more of discovering himself in this case rather then be proving. He was going to go on the same journey that Lord Luo had which had formed him into the "Pride of the Mist". there was an excitement coursing in Fordon's veins and he was eager to get it over with and see what he became.

Sighing, Luo poured himself some coffee in one of the normal mugs as he muttered, "Just to make sure, I want you to check the whereabouts of every Kiri-nin within the past week. Anyone who has been seen leaving the village for any reason at all. I want to make sure the treachery didn't sprout from my end, and bloom in Takigakure. Normally I'd send you and Fordon on the mission and be done with it, however your squad needs the experience and I need more than two sets of eyes and ears for this to be done right."

Fodon bowed deeply and said "yes my lord" He got up of the floor and began to walk down the hall with thoughts on how he was going to develop his sword style and what else he might learn. on his way out Fordon had an idea. he went up to the roost the flacons used. they carried the messages between villages and cites and it would be much easier if Fordon took one with him so he did. with the falcon Fordon then left the tower for the gate.

Yamatano spotted Kan and walked up to him as well. "Yo Kan, whats been happening? Guess what?!? Were genin, and I have my bloodlimit activated! You should become a genin too!" he said.

Mai ran up to the tower in a rush. she really wanted to know about Fordon. What was the reason? was it really as bad as he made it out to be? went right by the secretary that Fordon and Luo talked about and didnt even stop to give the woman the chance to unleash her infamous voice. she made her way past the talking boys who had just become genin. once next to the door she knocked and was about to call luo by his nick name but stopped herself from embarrassing the Mizukage infront of everyone.through the door she said "Luo i need to talk to you about something."
