Rogue's head pounded. Her head was filled with names. Names she did not know. Faces that were alien to her. All of them screaming out at her, but none of the pain showed on her face. Her alliance was with her master, her master only.
Kaien. Eve. Zoe. Elia.
She raised her hand and a wave of darkness flashed over to the group.
Ben. Terrion. Nihc.
She clenched her fist, the wave turning into a deathtrap of shadows.
Ringo. Shinji. Egil.
Her head was about to burst with the images and whirl of colors.
Nova.
Her eyes widened as her heart pounded rapidly. Nova? Who was Nova? Did she know him? This was all so confusing. She opened her mouth, but her throat was dry.
"Come on, Rogue, you can do this!"
What?
"Rogue, this is the best we can do. Remember your true self."
Who are you...?
"As much as I think this is stupid, they're right. We're risking our necks for you. And your friends, princess."
Princess...? What-?
Her head nearly exploded out of her head as memories filled her mind. Walking on the beach. Laughing and playing with a small child. A train crash. Meeting other Nightshades. Protecting eachother, travelling, avoiding danger. Joining up with guys. Being chased by Hunters. Being locked up. Drinking in the potion.... Her eyes cleared as the fog was lifted from her brain and she stumbled. The shadows dropped and she ran forewards. The Hunters were on the other side of the hall, bows out and directed at Aun.

They were helping her...Why?

((You know... Once Aun is dead, we should expand it even more. I really like this rp! XD We should have another villian, just to have new adventures for the Nightshades. Maybe a Lord of the monsters? I dunno...))

"Terrion... Wake up!" Terrion heard Eve's voice breaking through the fog. It was an order, but she didn't care. It was a reason to rise.

Elia is mine, Terrion, he has already given his soul to me! Aun's echoing voice sliced through Terr's hope. She slumped back again, but Eve's voice persisted.

"I won't die until this is over!"

"I..." she whispered, barely aware of speaking. "Won't die... until... this is..." Fuzzy light started to penetrate her eyelids. "Over!" Terrion shakily rose to her feet. She put her hand on the side of her head and felt a sticky, warm substance. Blood. Pain was out of the question as she focused on the images of all their weapons. There was a metalic clatter as the swords and other items appeared at her feet. Smiling slightly, she grabbed her own weapons and slid into the defencive stance.

"Nobody dies but you, Aun. No one." she hissed through clenched teeth. She caught a glimpse of Elia grappling with some sort of strange creature. A twisted form of shadow. Terrion sent his weapon to him and faced Aun. "You are not my father, and you are not going to be collecting anyone's soul." Aun smiled evily.

"Ah, but I already have! Elia... Kill your little friends here." he ordered. Elia grinned as he beheaded the beast.

"Nup, I take orders from no one! Except maybe Terr. You're finished, Aun." Elia sliced the arm off another creature. Aun was furious.

"You're dead, Aun. Everything you relied on, power, Nightshades, poisons, is either useless or turned against you. Face it. You are finished." Terrion smiled. "And I think Zoe should have the honors." Aun laughed, but instead of sounding evil, it was a desperate, mad laugh.

"I'll never die! I never die!" Aun screeched.

"You're starting to sound a little off your rocker, Aun..." Terrion commented. Aun raised his arm and some force crashed into her, knocking the wind out of her lungs and sending her crashing into the wall a few feet from the floor. Terrion could see his bloodshot eyes from her position. Aun crackled madly.

"Try to hurt me and she dies!" Aun tightened his grip on her, but let her slide up towards the ceiling.

"Aw, shucks, Aun, you don't have to." Terr said in a sweet voice. She threw one of her swords down and it stuck in his left wing. She tossed the other one towards Zoe. "Catch!"

((Hummm... I'm enjoying it too. I had planned on having Eve die after Aun, but she could always live a little longer ^_^

Right.
All the attacks the parasite was seeing were aimed at Rogue now.
"Rouge, to your right!" Eve yelled. Eve was concentrating on regaining control over the shadows that threatened her friends.
"Shadows, came back to me! Come back to your mistress!"
Aun laughed. "My power is strong and you will not be able to get them back."
Eve ignored him and shoved her dagger into the ground. She moved her hands quickly and muttered something under her breath. "Shadows, my shadows, come to me!"
Terrion. Left.
"Terrion, he's going to try to attack you from the left!"
Aun glared at her. "How do you know this, witch?"
Eve sniggered. "Wouldn't you like to know!"
Eve. From above.
Eve grabbed her dagger and moved out of the way as quickly as possible.
Potion.
Eve moved quickly and cut at the hand that reached for another vial. Somehow, she had managed to cut the vial in half and the liquid ran down Aun's arm.
"What are you going to do now, Aun? Now that you don't have control of the Nightshades anymore?" She taunted him with a smug look even though she was still worried about Rogue.
Zoe. Potion.
"Zoe, he's going to try to make you drink some potion!"
Aun growled angrily. "Eve, you wretch, I'm going to kill you for this!"
Eve sniggered. "Just try! SHADOWS!"
This time the shadows obeyed. "Come." The shadows drifted to her side and she held her arms out. The shadows covered her from head to toe and the only thing visible now where her deep red eyes. With a slight laugh, the shadows and Eve sunk into the ground. This was a farfetched plan and she knew Aun would see it coming, but she wanted to try nonetheless. She reappeared next to him and when he went to strike, she vanished again. After the 3rd try, she attacked him in between his wings. She tried again and attacked his shoulder. There wasn't much damage, but Eve could see nervousness in his eyes.
"You will never bother us again!" Eve yelled and stuck again.

Zoe screamed out, gripping her ears. She fell to her knees, face distorted in pain. Voices rang through her ears, echoing then fading, the coming back louder each time. She screamed out again, she felt as if her ears were bleeding. Ben rushed over, bending next to her. "Zoe? Zoe, whats wrong?" He asked. Zoe heard his voice distantly, as if it came from far away. The color of her eyes faded, then came back, then faded again. Ben fumed, standing. his hands trembling. He watched as Aun took Nova. "He wont do this!" He whispered. He bent down next to Zoe. "Come on Zo, I'm getting you all out of here." He said to the others and Zoe as he took them out. "Ben make it stop." Zoe screamed, shaking violently.

((Sorry it took me a while to reply, my mom hasn't been letting me on very long, and whenever i come to reply here, she makes me get off. :/ not fair.))

Rogue had gone crazy, her anger flaring up and rivaling Aun's. Shadows whipped around and cut everything in it's path and her eyes were a bloody red.
You killed one of my brothers...You murderer.....If you kill the love of my life.....I will kill you.
She snarled and the shadow monsters retreated from Elia.
"Get Terrion." She hissed and threw out a hand, a spike of shadow wrapped around the pillar near the throne. "Come out you coward!" She screeched and pulled, the pillar coming down with a deafening crack. "Everyone get out!" She yelled. "I'll follow once I get Nova!" She knew they would protest so she created a barrier between her and the others, the door on their side. "Go...." She whispered and everything seemed to slow down for her. Kaien was kicking and shouting her name as Nihc and Shinji dragged him back. Ringo was being tugged back by Sosuke. Kaname was pulling Terrion and Eve while Zero took care of Zoe, and Kenji made Ben and Elia follow him.
"I'm sorry..." She murmured as the shadows pulled down another pillar and piled the entryway with boulders as the last Nightshade disappeared into the dark corridor.

Terrion suppressed a cry of dismay and pain as she and the Nightshades fled into the garden she had seen earlier with the electricuted glass dome. She collapsed. As the sun rose, she took note of the blood coating her entire left side and right hand. As they were rushing to get out of the chamber, she had grabbed at her side. No cut was to be seen, just her blood and a slashed tunic.

"Crap." Terrion hissed through clenched teeth. "How do we get out of here?"

Ignoring the blood, Terrion stood. She raised her bloodied hand and pictured a large rocck flying through the air and crashing into the glass dome. There was a loud smashing sound and she covered her head as pieces of clear, broken glass fell from the sky. Terrion's hair whipped around her head as the freezing cold December air rushed into the once heated garden. Small flakes of snow fell from above and for a second, Terrion had a sense of hope.

Someone shouted and the hope vanished. Terrion caught a glance of Ben and Rogue and Eve all struggling to both stay alive and crash the mansion, it seemed. Suddenly filled with a reckless cause, Terrion plunged back into the fray using her powers to help, even as Elia cried out from behind her to stop and come back. Still ignoring her wound, Terrion wiped away some rubble and found a slightly dented sword. She smiled as she located her second one. Fresh blood still caked her entire left side, making her look mortally wounded. She didn't know, and definately didn't care. She just wanted her friends to be alive and the source of their troubles, Aun, dead.
