"We have too." Zekiel told L.J. breathlessly and focused on the gate. His heart raced as the movement stilled. This was their chance, and they were going to take it.
They hit the wall and Zekiel ran his hands over it, searching for the entrance he always used when bringing back the newbies.
"Got it." He muttered as his fingers nudged a loose boulder and he roughly ripped it out of the wall, revealing a hole large enough for an average man to crawl through. "Come on, hurry up, we ain't got all night." He murmured and helped the girls go in first, except Valentine, and then the guys. He helped Nic hoist the unconcious Val through and turned back to pull the boulder back into place just as the new Inky shift came out, not noticing that a rock had just moved into place right underneath them.
Zekiel directed Rave to follow the path right until the floor got a little damp and he edged his way to the front. "Alright, I'll take it from here." He pushed open a trap door, concealed in the dark and pushed out into the fresh air. They were a while away from the gate now, and the Inkies would never suspect a thing. He helped the others out of the tunnel and let them get a moment to catch their breath while he brought out his bluetooth and called HQ.
'Hey, Sunny D! Got everyone across, mmkay? Tell the doc she's got a couple of patients, by the way. See ya in about an hour!'
He took the bluetooth out of his ear and destroyed it in his fist. That was the problem with these things, effective, but tracable. He chuckled as he imagined Sunny Dawn giving death glares at the phone, imagining it was him. He loved to aggravate her, it reminded him that she cared.
He looked around the familiar landscape and breathed deeply. It would be a while until he got to come out like this again, and he was going to make the most of it. The quiet stream besides them trickled slowly, providing fresh water for anyone who wanted a quick drink. The trees stood hulking and silent, branches starting to reveal fresh, lime green leaves, waving gently in the soft wind.
He turned his head to look at the group and gave a wide smile.

Rave had ran with the others and with the help of Zeeks, easily vaulted over the fence. she gripped her gun when they were spotted and before they reached the wall she got a shot in, nailing one guy in the knee cap. smirking when he fell with a yell. she scrambled through and then sought out L.J. and stood by him, breathing heavely. "we made it" she remarked with a wide smile as she loked out on the trees. she brushed her hand against L.J's and smiled at him.

Zekiel untied his soaked hair and shook out the short length, breathing out in relief and the cool wind. "Why do I have a feeling of foreboding that Sunny D's gonna brutally murder me when we get there?" He asked weakly to no one in particular and scratched the side of his eye absently. "Anyways, everyone rest up. It's a while from here to HQ and I need everyone-" He glanced at Vallie. "Well, almost everyone, alert...I'm gonna go scout ahead for our path." He turned and slipped into the undergrowth, leaving the group to rest.

Sunny Dawn wrote down that zeek was coming and rolled the note up. She opened up a small shute in the wall and pushed it in. The paper went shooting through the tunnel to the main office to tell the heads.
The canadien resistance was made up of a bout thirty permanent residence. About ten come every month or so, then try set up some more down along the borders.
Sunny D pushed a strand of hair out her face and walked down to her room. It was small, A bunk bed with the bottom bunk taken out. A small handmade desk had been put there. Her dresser was pressed to the oppisite wall. Numerous amounts of pictures and scraps of writing were scattered across the desk and dresser.
Sunny grabbed her camerea, it was digital. She had saved for quiet some time to get this smuggled in and payed for. Sunny Dawn smiled as she looked at some pictures of her and Zekiel then of a few of the girls down in south wing.
Sunny pulled the camerea strap over her head and headed back to the kitchen to finish her coffee.

Valentine pushed herself up, though she kept her eyes closed. Her head was pounding and the noise around her just seemed to make it worse.
She opened her eyes a crack and watched Zekiel and Nicolas, trying to pay attention to what they were saying. She lightly touched her leg, pulled her hand away. Valentine lay back again, 'Dammit!'


Sunny Dawn got up and headed down to the research wing, where Leah was at the moment.
"Lele, Zeek should be here soon. Along with the newbies! Wanna do something to pass the time?" She said as she walked through the open door.

"Okay fine Little miss thunder cloud." Sunny D turned on her heels and walked away.
Leah had been working on that experiment for the past few months. Sunny never had found out what it was for exactly...
