I have this nagging itch that I'm going to suffer some serious injuries.

What's the DC check against like, medical supplies? Such as gauze, tubing, etcetera. I think that IV lines and catheter drips would be kind of hard to break out of, but i'm not sure.

Isn't a hydrospanner technically an improvised weapon too?

Ok, I’m still going to blow a force point and enact battle meditation. I should be able to affect everyone that’s going to be fighting still right? Like if I set myself up at the right spot inside the cargo-bay I should reach the port side of the ship right? 6 squares.

Yes, K-blade.
And make no bones about it, a Hydrospanner IS an Improvised weapon. Not a simple weapon.

grrr.... stare I call B.S.
Simple weapons = clubs, combat gloves, knifes, mace, quarterstaff, stun baton, grenades, thermal detonators, spear, net, sling, bow.
SECRB pg. 139 tool kit. no such animal as Improvised weapons.
but ******** it. it's your world, game on.
grenade then it is.

K-blade, a hydrospanner is not designed to be used as a club. A Shockball bat, which is designed to hit things, would be countable as a weapon. Not a hydralic wrench, which is designed to fasten things.
