"Very," Lin replied looking up from her butterflies.
Lin was very grateful she was a packrat with what she kept in her bag, between all her traveling since she was a child, Lin could pretty much live out of her bag. It took her a while and consisted of tossing everything she had out of the bag (she still had dolls and whatnot on the bed), but Lin managed to find at least a light coloured tank top (blue no doubt), unfortunately it seemed her taste in pants hadn't changed.
Note to self, she thought after rooting around for clothes, as Helen for proper clothes.

Amora smiled. "I'm glad. Come, you should hurry and dress - I have more clothes you can wear if you don't have anything suitable. Breakfast will be soon, and then ..."
She trailed off. She still wasn't looking forward to that training, though she was, for the first time, eager to find out just what had happened to her.

"Uhm..." Lin looked back to the bed and sighed picking up her tanktop, "I have this... and all my pants are well.. black."
She for once wished she had her mother's taste in clothing or at least colours.
"Actually most of what I normally wear is black or dark blue... or just dark.. the only thing I have that is white and light is a dress."
Which was from her last growth.

Amora giggled. "Come on back to my room, I'll get you a few sets of clothes that you can wear while you're here. Then you won't have to keep coming back for more every day."
She beckoned for Lin to follow her.
"Pants today," she murmured. "Spidersilk, unless you plan on passing out. It's going to be hotter today than yesterday. I can tell."

Lin followed, and curiously asked, "What are the signs for a hotter day?"
It was always sunny around here so she had to wonder about that, and if finding out was as difficult as telling the time. All the while she made a note to ask how much it would cost to have spidersilk clothes done.
Silk from silk worms were already a luxury in Gaia but it wasn't good at adsorbing sweat, and spidersilk was such an unusual commodity that it was even harder to get a hold of (despite Helen's love of the stuff when introduced to it).

Amora smiled. "Slight changes in the air pressure, certain types of sunrises, a difference in the moisture in the air, if there ever is any."
She went to her wardrobe and began to pull out some clothes for Lin. "Here, you can use any of this that you like," she offered. "I have lots."

"Thank you," Lin murmured.
She gathered a few clothes that would hopefully last her the rest of the trip. Since she didn't have any clothes suitable otherwise. It sort of amazed her how two deserts could be so different.
"There I think this should be enough."

Amora nodded. "Then as soon as you're changed, we have to hurry to the dining hall," she said softly. "Pengolodh doesn't have to wait for us this time, but Lord Elwin will be waiting for us at the training compound."
Not that she was in a particular hurry to get there, but still. She had been brought up to be places on time, whenever it was possible.

"Right," Lin nodded.
She hurried back to her room, it was a good thing it was only next door, otherwise it would have taken longer. Normally she would be neater than this, but she just tossed her night clothes onto the bed and yanked on the clothes that she was boring.
Lin was so glad to have short hair.
A moment later she left the room to join Amora so they could head down to the dining hall.

Estel looked very surprised when he saw how Amora was dressed, but the moment his suprise passed his expression changed to one of great pleasure.
"I see you remembered your training," he said proudly. "Good."
He wasn't the only one in the dining hall, either. Lothiriel was there, as were Elia and Celebrindor - though the infant was fast asleep in a small basket on the chair next to Lothiriel's. Pengolodh was the only one not present this time, though it came as no surprise to Amora.
She simply nodded at her father's words and took her seat silently. She wasn't sure why she didn't mention that she and Lin were going to ask about her accident. She didn't think it was important, perhaps.

Lin was surprised that Estel was surprised that Amora remembered. Despite the fact it was obvious that Amora whether consciously or unconsciously had misgivings about using the sword, she didn't strike Lin as the type who would forget her lessons on purpose.
Then again Lin admitted she had only known Amora for a small while, but that was the impression she had gotten.
"Good morning," Lin greeted them all, "Hello again Elia."

Little Elia stared at Lin for a moment, eyes wide as she chewed on her fingers; and then she smiled and waved with one hand.
Lothiriel giggled. "She was asking this morning if Amora's friend was still here. Though for some reason she seems to be playing shy today."
"She does that from time to time," Estel chuckled as the staff brought in plates of food for Amora and Lin. "I hope you like eggs. These ones are from a desert bird, we keep a small pen of them out with the rest of the animals."

Lin grinned thinking that was really cute before turning to her food, they did have meetings to keep after all.
"Always, though I've never had eggs from anything besides chicken," Lin admitted giving it a try.
Though she figured an egg was an egg no matter what bird it came from.

"There aren't many chickens in this part of the world," Lothiriel smiled at Lin. "They don't survive well in this sort of heat. There are a great many creatures that we don't have here."
Elia giggled at Lin and held up her fork, which had a piece of egg speared on the end. "Yum," she told Lin matter-of-factly.

Though to be fair, Lin was pretty sure there were many creatures one couldn't find anywhere else.
Tasting the egg herself Lin grinned at Elia, "Yes, very yum."
She quickly made work of her meal, breakfast had always been a more quiet time (except the morning when her father goes away to the hunts that is).
