((Hmm, guard captain? I wonder what made you think that, Malaroth.
The investigator is the one in Shane's bar, but since Lyris was already after Lenore, he could easily get involved. Who knows? Maybe Lyris and Isabella will face off.
...and I totally forgot about roleplaying the investigator. haha))
The investigator blinked as Shizuru moved him. "What's going on?" His face still throbbed and he looked out toward where Shane rushed and thought he saw a white blur of a skeleton. "That captain must have hit me harder than I thought.... but you have my thanks, Doctor."

SHRAVRA the metalsmith First contact.
xxxShravra lifted his head up having drank his fill of the water. Definitely something wrong here. Those sound don't seem human or elf made. That leaves demon and they shouldn't be here. What's going on? Pushing his head back under the water he found that he could see much further out than he could through the fog. And he could see the three creatures moving rapidly towards him, daggers in hand, a malicious glint in their eyes. Pushing as hard as he could against the ground Shravra all but flew out of the water backwards with the first demon stabbing where he had been only seconds before. With a hiss the other two bobbed up next to the first before the three clambered out of the water to follow him up the paved area that reached up to the fish stalls and shop fronts. Moving as a team, the fish-demons managed to keep him dodging their quick stabs and slashes. It wasn't going to end well unless something happened soon. Backing up to one of the fish stalls Shravra nearly fell when his legs connected with the table, his hands sprawling on it to keep himself up right...finding a knife left lying by the owners.
xxxGrabbing the knife it was all that he could do to keep the nearest from gutting him like the fish on the table. Grabbing the arm of his attacker he twisted until he heard a click dislocating its shoulder, proving that these demons have joints in the process. It collapsed to the floor letting out a high pitched screech while the other two continued the attack with renewed strength in revenge for the dropped one. With a flick Shravras knife flew into the chest of the second while the third caught him across the lower thigh making him curse before kicking it as hard as he could, spinning it across the paving back into the water where it hissed and swam away. A few more curses directed at nothing in particular, Shravra began limping back towards the apothecary.

But if Shrava or anyone came to observe the bodies of the two that Shrava had struck down, they would notice something very interesting. Were the attackers really demon or something else?

((skeletons... hmm, evil or not... lol And nah, i dont THINK it was that one lol I think its the NPC one)) Isabelle The Barbers Daughter Blending in and blind eyes to the bones Isabelle watched carefully, she wouldn't be of any use putting out flames, not that she wanted to of course. Her attention was more focused on the magic being used and how everyone reacted more than anything else. " Hey, emm... Is there anything I can do to help too?" She said trying to at last play the concerned role. If she sat around just idly watching it burn suspicions might arise. Just then she also noticed the skeleton ambling past in the shadows of the alleys, it was a little hard to spot, but it was more the aura she could feel off of it, not sure of its intentions Isabelle decided it best to let it get on with whatever it was doing, after all it was more than likely the thing was on her side, though anything was possible in this city so there was also the chance of it being some sort of ancient defence. Isabelle looked away from it, hoping that it would go unnoticed, if it was her enemy then she would get it at a more appropriate time. Taint Imp Of Corruption NOISE! ******** it, I'm up... Lets investigate... Taint thrashed around a little trying to get some quiet, but the noise outside was indescribable, she threw back the tiny portion of blankets that she had taken up and sprung to her feet. " This noise!! I can't sleep through this at all! Whats going on out there..." Screamed Taint in frustration. She sprung across the room to the window sill in little more than two bounds to inspect the carnage. Fires were spreading quite well, and the mist flowing over the harbour was a nice addition too, it was about this time she caught a glimpse of the skeleton bumbling through the back alleys. " Well well well... What do we have here? I wasn't informed of anyone else being here yet? I must investigate~" She sang with excitement. Grabbing her axe Taint prised open the window to get back outside again. Before squeezing through the thin gap Taint muttered a few words and made some signs with her hands, she had cast a glamour spell upon herself, the spell would hide her, a bit like a mental block to anyone that spotted her, though more instead of turning her invisible it would give the impression she was something else, a bird for example. The spell was enough to keep most people off her trail, though other Fae like elves might not be as effective. " Right, I think that's me set? Lets get going then! Woo!" Taint launched off of the window ledge and flew in the direction of the skeleton, she would stalk it, find out its purpose before she acted, if it was on her side she might even be able to help it out.

"What?" Shizuru definitely thought she was hallucinating, except Shane ran out the door and went to clobber the skeleton. That meant she wasn't hallucinating. "What?" Then, she heard the investigator. "You're welcome. But you'd better get well soon because there are some strange things happening." Walking skeletons were ridiculous. No way. She went to the window and tried to look closer.

((...and here goes the skeleton posts. Whoops, Malaroth, I'm just using blue for you and Lise for now since I don't have your font color code immediately in front of me right now.))
The skeleton didn't seem to notice Shane until the bartender lunged on it, and even then, it had a delayed reaction. Shane's blow knocked the skeleton over, but it still had his clutches on the spear and the pot lid. It tried to get up slowly and would jab back at Shane if the bartender kept trying to attack it.
The skeleton was sort of dead, and it didn't exactly have any visible senses since it was all bone. That it was moving at all defied logic, and it had a strip of rotting clothes on it. The other lurking problem Shane would find was: How do you kill something that's already dead?
-------------------------------------------
And the skeleton with the knife moved on, completely not noticing Taint following it. It continued moving outwards of the town and would eventually end up by the gate where Captain Adam was.
-------------------------------------------
"Alright, men! Doing a good job here! Kicking their asses! Take that, you b*****d!"
Some moments later... "Holy motherf*****! What the **** is that?"

((Was waiting for Trigger but I guess I'll go...)) Haucon splashed one last bucket of water on the building and saw the last flame disappear. Heat still radiated off of it, and there was a lot of steam and smoke, but it was out. He turned to Aidan who still seemed lost in concentration and then looked back at the building. "I'm going to see if there's anything to salvage in there." he said to her, before making a rather bold decision. "We can put you up in the tavern or you can stay in the stables for free, there's an empty stall at the other end that we can fix up for you. Either way, it's your decision, if there is anything left in there, we can store it in the stables so you can keep up your business until you can get this place repaired." he said with a smile, wondering why his heart was pounding so hard.
He told himself it was just adrenalin, and pushed open the charred door to the apothecary. It fell of its hinges. This didn't bode well. "Stay here until I know it's safe!" he said to Aidan, taking another step inside. The floor seemed stable at least. "I think it's ok!" he called out to Aidan holding out his hand to help her up the ashy stairs. "You'll know what's worth saving more than me."

SHRAVRA the metalsmith The use of being prepared
A thin trail of blood was winding its way down his leg by the time Shravra had made it back to the apothecary. The fire was all but out bar a few patches of smoldering thatch here and there. Even these were put out by Haucons last bucket of water. It looked like some more people had shown up right as it was being put out before deciding to try and help. Typical how most humans only wanted to help when the hard part was done. "Aiden, I'm going to head back to my shop and see if there's anything needing done there."
Making his way back to his own shop, Shravra found that it had been giving off sparks much like many other shops dotted around the city. His shop on the other hand was completely fire proofed and had nothing more than a few pocks of smoldering ashes here and there, but other than that, nothing had happened. Striding painfully into the smithy he found that the biggest fire inside had been when his order sheet had caught fire. With an uneasy feeling in his gut Shravra picked up one of the many swords he had recently finished working on before strapping it to his belt. If he got attacked again, he wasn't going to be unprepared.

Aidan Vale The Apothecary
After several minutes of channeling, Aidan failed to notice anything other than the pounding ache that had begun to form behind her left eye. Every once and a while, the pain became so pointed that the vision in that eye blurred, and she was forced to blink rapidly in order to regain sight. It was in one of these moments of both intense pain and clarity that she noticed that the fire was now extinguished. Without preamble, the young elf dropped her hands to her sides, breathing heavily. The rain around her seemed confused, the former magnetic pull having disappeared, and so paused for half a second in mid-air. Then, with almost no delay, it began falling normally again. Meanwhile, Aidan found herself rapidly regaining attention. She understood the choices with which Haucon had presented her, and answered without really thinking, "Stables. If this is a common phenomenon throughout the city, others will be in more dire need of the tavern." As she watched him leave, she noticed Shravra returning to the area. Turning to him, she smiled appreciatively, only vaguely registering that he was hurt. "Thank you for your help. I hope all is well when you return to your home." Aidan watched him as he moved away from her, and then used the momentary lapse in activity to gather the possessions she had brought out of the apothecary, before Haucon emerged from the little shop once more. Grateful for the chance to steady herself against the throbbing pain in her head, the little elf accepted his hand and made her way up the stairs, and into the wreckage.

Haucon decided not to pester Aidan about the water control that she seemed to posses right now because it was an understatement to say that it had thus far been and was likely to continue to be a trying day. He looked around the inside of Aidan's building. Overall, things weren't too bad off, they definitely needed repairs, but it didn't look like they'd have to raze the building to the ground in order to make it structurally sound. It is in the nature of an apothecary's shop to be somewhat dusty, incredibly dry and overall, rather flammable. Luckily because most of the important herbs were in sealed glass jars they remained relatively unaffected. Other things kept in envelopes were now only ash. "Take your time, and do be careful." Haucon said encouragingly to Aidan. ((sorry it's kinda short...Happy V-Day everyone ))

[[Hi, everyone. I just needed to let you all know that I've recently been informed of a family emergency, and will not be around to post until it is resolved. As guilty as I feel leaving you all, my real life responsibilities seem to keep getting in the way. Please, do whatever you need to with Aidan in order to keep the plot line going, and hopefully I'll be back soon!]]

((Hope everything turns out alright.))
And skeleton #3 walked past Shrava's shop armed with a sword and with some half eroded helmet on.
Soon after, another skeleton followed after the first one that had walked by Aiden's apothecary earlier. Haucon would definitely notice it. This skeleton, which we'll call Skeleton #4 for simplicity, was armored with a bow and quiver of arrows and had remnants of clothes hanging off it. If it was human, it'd probably pass for being a stowaway stranded on an island or even a pirate.

Taint Imp Of Corruption Die you human bastards! Taint laughed to herself as the skeleton staggered towards the captain, someone was having a problem and it wasn't even her doing. AHA! And to think all I have to do is watch, wait... This could be an excellent opportunity, whilst they're distracted I can get in about them and cause some trouble! WAHAHA! She thought and leaped into the air towards the gates landing on top of the portcullis. If she could undo a few bolts inside the massive structure could fall out on top of the guards below... She made her way inside the workings and sent some spells towards the key components, now all she needed to to was wait for someone to hit something and the gate would fall, then hopefully, come free from its supports. HAHA! Oh I haven't had so much fun since I ruined that religious ceremony by setting loose a troll!Oh I hope this goes well. She slinked her way out of the structure onto a roof near by to get a better view of the action, this was definitely her at her greatest. Isabelle The Barbers Daughter NOT in the mood... Isabelle on the other hand was doing almost nothing, her offer of help was all but ignored and she had taken to sitting on a bench with the rest of the confused citizens. Well this is a laugh isn't it... She thought before getting up and walking off. What to do then... I suppose I could find some random to kill... Isabelle wandered into the alleys, she was in a mood for killing, if she bumped into someone, god had better be smiling upon them. Slowly she made her way towards the bar. ((wow, quite short crying ah well, it gets some points over ^_^))

SHRAVRA the metalsmith Knock, knock.~
The uneasy feeling was getting stronger with every passing minute, until it hit a peak as a shambling skeleton stumbled past the front of his shop. With disbelief plastered over his face, Shravra followed it a short part down the road before pushing it experimentally with the end of his sword on the back of it's helmet. Definitely made to move through magical means, it was just a question of which side it was fighting for.
((Short, crappy and moving. I got one thing right then.))
