Banshee Coffinnightmare It's okay Iz, it's not top-secret information. XD The reason spell books aren't up for use as weapons, is that they're later on going to be items for everyone in the RP. They'll be used in the learning of new spells. Also, Kal, great to hear your dungeon is coming along well. And I have paint, so I'm sure I won't have any trouble. smile Is it MS Paint or Paint.net? Because I don't know if MS can support multiple layers.

Oh s**t, we have a problem, people. I seem to have somehow misplaced my maps and info of the first two dungeons. I don't know how it happened, since last time I checked they were resting peacefully in one of my notebooks (still bound, not torn out), but if I don't find them....
Oh well... Nothing a few hours of late-night scribbling can't fix. But it still upsets me, cause I put a lot of time and thought into them. Argh.
@Kal: It's MS Paint, I believe. Do you know where I can get paint.net?
Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize I had answered my own question. rofl

K, got 4 icons down in the legend: Enemy, boss, chest, and big chest. What else? I know to put the keys, compass, and dungeon map in, but other than that, is there any sort of icon I can put down?

Sounds great! Just make sure you mark where the mid-boss(es) and boss are going to be (oh wait you already....yeah). You can create the boss if you want to, all it takes is filling out an app. But there's no rush for that. A mid-boss can be any kind of regular enemy that's stronger or more complicated than most of the other common monsters in the dungeon, and/or requires more strategy (ex.: the Lizalfos pair in Dodongo's Cavern, the Darknuts in Dark Hyrule Castle, etc.) Or it could be a bunch of weaker monsters put together (ex.: the multitudes of Stingers in Jabu-Jabu's Belly, in the Boomerang room, if memory serves correctly).
Oh yeah, and make sure you note which doors are locked.
Other than that, just make sure to check the list in the Miscellany section of the RP's front page. It has everything a dungeon needs (that I can think of, anyway).

K, I'll remember to do that. And ta-da, here's Felin's Weapon! No name for it yet, I'll probably think of something while completingthe dungeon.

In the App thread. It's the last one, I believe, labeled "Boss Application".

k, one last question: Wha does a Relic look like, so I know what to draw for the icon?
Error: says to post the boss profile in Crew forum, but since I'm not crew, I can't access it.

Lol! The Relics are going to be useful items the main characters gain. Basically, the kinds of items Link finds and uses to help him on his quest, i.e., Hookshot, Pegasus Boots, etc. I've made a long list of these, but only a few of them are going to be available at first when I do reveal them. Which will be sometime soon.
As for the icon, you can just make a question mark or a Triforce or something.

Ah, ok.
Also got most of the boss app filled out, and currently working on attack patterns. Personally, it's kinda sounding like Gyorg, but with a little twist.
Edit: Finished, just need the Reward Level thingy.

Hm, plotting chests and stuff is making it look like ALttP style.
Got the first 5 rooms 100%, complete with puzzles!

The Reward Level kind of depends on the type of dungeon, unless it's for a mid-boss. Their reward level will always be something like "Relic", "Map", "Compass", etc. But since you're making a boss, there are two choices: Heart Containers (the basic one), and Heart Containers + ???. The former will usually only be used for some early-on dungeons, and some that are rather small. Breaking tradition? Maybe, but it's kind of essential. If you're making the Lakeside Laboratory into a big-time, kickass dungeon, I'd suggest picking the latter.
What the "???" is, I definitely can't tell you. Not yet, anyway. But trust me, you'll find out soon enough. XD

Hm, well the dungeon is kinda lengthy, but not too complicated. I guess just a Heart Container will do.
The mid-boss' reward isn't exactly in the same room, but in a small one beside it (you have to solve some sort of puzzle or something) to get the relic. As for the compass, it's cleverly hidden, yet out in the open wink
I also kinda ceased operations for now to see if I could get a peek at what the relic is, so as to incorporate some puzzles based around it. (Remember, motif is water/mechanical)
